    You're right - one never knows what the low tones will bring.

    Hey Paul! Thanks for your videos specialy with the Vanquish 540 pro! I just bought it so it is rainy out (i am from the deep North of Canada Québec Province. You guys are lucky cause on your cotinent there is thousands of years of history Romain Napoleon etc...) here we start around 1600 (Mining, Hunting for beavers, wolf etc... that indians were saling to use plus all the wars betweent french english and indians. But we have a long history with the indians that were here thousans of years so i hope to find close to that old mines, and the lumber wood caps and maybe old indian village where i ilve, i made many researchs, there were 6 diffrents nations moving with the seasons so i will start searching close to old water beds and streams and rivers cause they were dependent of the water! Anyway i wont bother you tomuch but i am very anxious eventhow i am retired now 31 years as a Superior officer firefighter and Crash and rescue! I have a bad back so i will go slowly and i made my self a metal beach boles bocket like you so dont have to band tomuch close to lakes and rivers , Pin detector, 2 little nice kind of shovels like you. I have watch quit a few of your videos i learned a lot not only about detecting but the Vanquish also with you! Thanks again and looking foward to find more videos of you!! Frank from the Deep North of Canada!! P.S. Sorry for my english i am french but i love english hope you will understand me!

    Pipe tamper I think , I found a lovely Roman with my vanquish the other day

    Two bullets hitting each other head to head? What are the odds of that happening, never mind finding it! And Roman coins! 👍 The Vanquish 540 is an amazing machine, I love it!

      As someone who used to muck around with pellet guns all the time when I was a young kid (and when the world was a different place!) - I'm not so sure that it's two pellets colliding mid air. My friends and I were always looking for new ways to fire an air rifle and sometimes we'd load a pellet normally into the barrel and then drop a second one down the other end before firing. Our childish logic being - twice the weight, twice the damage. It didn't work that way, of course... 🤣

    Thanks for the video good finds
    To get two air gun pellets welded together we use to put a pellet in the breach and one in the barrel end and then fire it stupid thing to do but I was a teenager at time Thanks again

    My brother found a Bronze Age axe head and it was the worst signal ever. Tones and numbers bouncing all over the show. He only dug it as he hadn’t dug in a while.

    • @FiREJJI
      @FiREJJI Рік тому +2

      I doubt a bronze axe will have a low tone/trashy tone. Maybe one piece of iron was near and had 2 signals in the same time. Bronze and copper are high conductivity metal and trigers a high tone, even small pieces.

    I did my first dig with this machine today with the 12v coil. Enjoyed it, but had difficulty trying to pinpoint, whenever I dug the hole the target always seems to be off to the side maybe I'm using it wrong. And even if I dug higher numbers iron seemed to be the result was in jewelry mode, my best find was a horse shoe unfortunately. But any advice on those issues would be grateful for

    • @paulcee
      @paulcee  Рік тому +2

      try lifting your coil so you can just hear the target, then use pinpoint it will lock on better, this is useful if the target is nearer the surface

      Although the vanquish is a top detector I'm afraid it won't do to the depths you are looking at, you may be able to move some of the earth to get down to that depth.
