They sent me a second hand broken one lb + rb not working also something rattling about inside. So I’m having to go through the whole process again. We’ll see how this goes I’m not expecting much. Cheaply made product with a high price tag.
I loved the elite 2 more than the elite 1 in terms of how much you could customize you're play; however, the elite 2 is also the only controller I've ever owned that had the bumpers stop working properly on (and within less than 1/3 of a year). I'm a player that's harder on the joysticks and softer on everything else (FPS alot). If you don't mind having to send it in for repairs frequently or getting it replaced it's GREAT. My Elite 1 lasted year before it had any problems (other than grip wear that everybody gets), and then it went downhill. Both are a steep price, but in terms of HOW they work WHEN they work. Both are amazing.
Great review man. Did you figure out why the bumpers were doing double press? And also is the trigger adjustment from the programme and the manual switch different. I heard in WZ if you have trigger stops you can’t drive vehicles at full speed?
Thanks man. I never did find a solution for the double press on the bumpers. As far as the trigger stops with the car I don’t think that is true. I haven’t played Controller in a few months but when I did I could go full speed in vehicles even with the trigger stops on.
considering it was a year ago now ur probs not gonna see this but in case you do and still haven't figured this out here it is. That screen with the triggers at 7:42 you can actually adjust the max and min input dead zones. so u can essentially make it so you go at full speed in vehicles in games while only slightly touching the trigger, i know this because i had the same problem with the 1st elite controller and it had the same fix. The reason this happens is because when you put the hair trigger locks on it locks the triggers movement but does nothing to the trigger input values, put plainly you're locking the trigger half the distance and the controller doesn't know about it

Almost all my buttons have broke and started to work again randomly,right now my left stick don’t work when I click it in ,before that the lefter bumper then right bumper were broken ..

this controller sucks durability wise it will break it is more likely that it will break than work after 2 months a promise you at least buy the warranty

had 4 s2's 1st 5 months then stick drift , 2nd stick drift outa the box , 3rd stick drift after 1 week , 4th 6 months then bad stick drift took it back gave up on them they r crap seems to last longer if dont use stick spring load
just too let you know if you dont play fortnite or call of duty with this controller the life span will be better cause i stop palying fortnite for a while and cod on my elite 2 it been 8 months no problems i think the problem is ya just using this controller for fortnite i enjoy playing this with monster hunter and a bit of halo single player story games is good too .
Was gonna buy a microsoft controller, but after reading so many reviews on failures of buttons and sticks, i decided to just buy a cheap 360 controller from china for USD 5 bucks. They can easily last a couple of months. Cant afford to pay premium for something that only last a couple of months. Used that money instead to get a 32 inch high refresh rate monitor. Just add a bit more cash.
I’ve never personally used a scuff, however, my friends who’ve had one say they break too easily. And I know from experience that the elite’s paddles are placed perfectly where my fingers are and easy to hold
Its supposed to eliminate the need for control freaks and like u say in a way it does however A standard thumbstick with a control freak is miles better than that long stick the difference is night and day once u go control freak u never go back inferno all the way baby 🤣
Just got 2 and they are both defective out of box. Xbox remotes are the worst...... gaming with Xbox remotes Is like running with your shoes on the wrong foot.

In Australia you'd be entitled to an immediate replacement with a brand new controller.

No problem. I got the controller in the summer of 2019. It’s held up fairly well besides some stick drift and the bumpers being a little funny
