If your going to go on a Maxor Binge, I highly recommend you watch the ultrakill review. He managed to get a hold of a voice actor from the game and BOY IS IT HILARIOUS.
I think its better if they watch metal gear rising and some of the other ones first. Just because the ultra kill one is incomplete thus far

Dude this is like one of my favorite games of all time and I am not normally patient enough to enjoy the Souls games. The Lovecraftian tones, the aesthetic, the gameplay, the journey of discovering the story by your own optional in-game research and the satisfaction from defeating your prey and eventually becoming a Great One is unmatched.

I did beat like 50% of the game with the basic saw cleaver upgraded into fire, then found a different version of the same exact weapon that had better gem slots in the chalice dungeons and did the rest of the game with it, barring some hilarious multiplayer using the DLC weapon that can turn your hands into squids with the proper transformation.
19:25 Laurence being a normal name given to a monster reminds me about how „Tiffany“ is a completely historically accurate medieval name, but sounds so modern that nobody can use it in historical fiction.

About the bloodborne runes (upgrades) if you don’t like the rune you have inserted then you can remove it. They’re not permanent.
The more insight u have the more detail u see on enemies I think around 20 insights u start seeing those eyes

One day I’ll go back to this game and beat it, I got stuck on the Bloodstained Beast in Old Yharnam and on like the 46th death I just uninstalled it
Good god when does all that other BS come in? For like 3-5 areas it plays exactly the same as Dark Souls, why is it so complicated?
It only seems complicated because it’s all compressed into a 20 minute video. I’d say half the fun of experiencing Bloodborne is the slow shift from werewolves and “zombies” to alien monstrosities.
as Chavezz said at the end of the vid, it is a lot but after some time you get used to it. i played Bloodborne as my second souls game and beat every single boss in it (except the chalice dungeons cuz that's just stupid). 2 hints i'll give about Bloodstarved Beast is what Maxor said about beast type bosses (you can make them stagger by hitting their legs/limbs) and that the game likes having cool small details. there is a cheese start with Bloodstarved if you use a specific item in the fight, i won't say what it is, but just think about the name of the boss. oh, and also, i believe Bloodstarved is optional, you can come back to it later
