Who's listening in 2024?
Well I just did.Sounded miles better than any of that bollocks on Saturday
🙋🏻♀️
@@davidmcgowan7513Shocking wasn’t it. Sorry but there’s nothing attractive about guys picking each other up in public toilets, which was clearly the intended impression. It was revolting 🫣
also in 2086 ❤😂
Me ❤😊
Please, please, please can someone take me back to 1976!!!
people listening that knew how good life was back then.
The Eurovision song with most record sales and better than all songs on tonight.
YOU MUST BE JOKING!!
The days of healthy wholesome music 😊
I used to cringe when my dad sang this song .. wish I could hear him sing this to me now .. RIP daddy❤
You will hear him again.x
Nicole x that's exactly my position I'm in. Loved it as a small child
Some day he will be singing it again but you will be with him.
AWW bless!! My dad use to sing this to me. I feel exactly as you did. Use to tell him to shut up! cringe also. HA!! In front of my mates as i was going out.
So sad to hear. My Dad used to sing it too and I never truely felt it until having kids of my own
My dad is 87 and on palliative care. I loved this song growing up . My dad was unusual for his time . Adored playing with me and my sister and worshipped my mum and a devout Christian. Thank you daddy
I used too sing this song to my mother in '76 , sadly I can't anymore as she passed away this June. Love u mum.
You are always with her, she is in you, she created you, and she is always with you in spirit and you can listen to this and feel her presence even more,, ❤️👌
man that is extremely sad, hope that you will still save some kisses for her in heaven
This song is ingrained in my mind. It was one of the best years of my life 1976. RIP to your dear mother and as someone said she's always with you.
My condolences, Rajesh. 😞😭

Who's listening this legend music in quarantine days?
It's a little piece of the old days.❤❤❤
Still listening .
😙😙
Of course
This American. I recognize this ONE song from American tv/radio.
This might just be a song to many other people, but when I was little, my dad used to sing this and it always made me cry, so then he’d give me a hug and say “Don’t worry, daddy’s not going anywhere” and it’d get me to stop crying.
4 years ago when I was 12 we sadly lost him to cancer. This song means even more to me now. It still makes me cry. I wish my dad could still be here to hug me and tell me that he’s not going anywhere, but he did have to go.
Love you dad, I’ll never forget you 💜
Rip :)
I'm so sorry. *hugs* 💙
Im sorry for your loss.
Rip sorry for ypur loss i lost my sister to canser olso 2 years ago. There is where you go fallow you i belive it. They coming beside you when you thinging of them. And i belive that sometimes they touch it us.i feel that this. This is a not joke
I am so sorry. I know he watches over you. Look at the stars and feel his presence. He loves you and God loves you.
Some people said they were copying ABBA but ABBA's songs were mostly about passive aggressive relationships. This song is about having to leave for a while but promising you will be back.
It's about a parent leaving their child for a while
This song SUCKS!! Really STUPID song.
I was a small child but i remember this song. Real music.
this is one of best eurovision winners ever
Another wonderful song that brings back beautiful childhood memories
Same here 🙋🏻♂
Same for me. I was 8 years old. Happy times 😊
Yeah.True
This song took me out of depression, on my holiday to Turkey. It was my 60th birthday. I love this song. ❤
This makes me feel warm and happy. Miss songs like this. Nowadays its all about not being caught cheating or getting paid. Bring this musical sentiment back. Its needed.
I cry everytime! 😭

Most Music these days = drugs, money, gangs, twerking, prostitutes = 💩 you get some good modern songs Eg Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Lewis Capaldi, Ariana Grande.
@@kts5920 Claims that there still are good songs, proceeds to list almost only bad ones lol
@@--8251 Nope. 👍
I lost my dad to cancer when I was 12, but he used to sing this to me when I was little. Every time I come here I start sobbing, but at least it brings back memories of him
Love to you seriously
Corny choreography ,cheap sets, 70's threads count me in I love it! 💗
2024 - superb song. We need this vibe in this times
My dad used to sing this to me too , I was only 3 at the time but I can still remember it ... he died suddenly the following year. Never take the small things for granted , they will mean a lot someday... treasure every second

This song is dedicated to all the family oriented hard working fathers out there who have toddlers at home. Beautiful!
there are many of those, no matter how much feminists say otherwise
@@josegabrielsanchez8683 ... Feminists literally acknowledge that and work towards equality for both - men and women.
I love them! I'm glad they won the Eurovision in 1976! Real talent!
My mum used to sing this to me when I was small.... her 3rd anniversary shortly... buried her on mother's day in Ireland... nothing is the same
I've started sending music memories of our childhood to my sister each day. This is the oldie I've chosen to send my sister this morning. Great innocent song that was on our jukebox back in the day. Their other memorable song was, "United We Stand" for those who don't know.
If your parents are still alive, show them how much you love them. Make sure you know you have showed them how much they mean to you. One day sooner than you think, you may wonder if they knew how much you loved them, and you won't be able to show them.
Just lost my Father in Law who was a great guy and I can't agree with you more.
100% agree with you on that one my mum used to sing this song to me 44 yrs ago I can remember it like it was yesterday wish I had a time machine
My family lived in Belgium from 1974-76. I vividly remember this song winning Eurovision. Frightening, I remembered all the lyrics.
I love this song 😍😍 so innocent and sweet, just as love should be💝
Sofia södergård åkesson, when my mother played that song for me she told to concentrate on the lyrics. And I thought „Ok. He must go to work and he has girlfriend. But no! Why are women singing along?!“
At the end „Won’t you save them for me
Even though you’re only three“
And I was like ahhhhhh😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🐣🐣🐣
Sofia södergård åkesson Agree 👏🏾❤️

A heart melting tune from the golden yesterday. I wish I could go back, but God has granted us just one life, so there is no going back, no second chance. Sometimes I wonder why then at the end of the day life is just a compilation of memories bitter & sweet for us to reminesce.
We need more of this in 2021! Who else?

meeeeeeeeeeeeee
Meeeeeeeeeeeeee, my God!
We need even more in 2024
Makes me cry every time I hear this song. Don't care!! ❤️
i was 5 when i heard it for the first time ..... i'm 48 and still listening ! so beautiful song
same age mate and I remember my mum chasing us round as kids singing this to us.... simple times and beautiful memories.
Same I used to pretend I was them I'd come out from behind the living room curtains and dance and sing to it the 70s were so innocent and such happy times 😊
Oh so cutee🥰🤧🍭

Just turned 50 yesterday and remember this tune very well! I had this record back then!

Such memories this song brings back to my childhood. East London South africa❤
Nans funeral song so wish she was still with us such an amazing lady who died at 63 she would of been 85 now xx
R.I.P ❤
So sweet 💗 I was 8 years old when they won the Eurovision Song Contest and I still remember that song.
This is such a beautiful song, back in the day when we were actually liked in Europe, enough to win the contest :) .. I lost my Uncle David on Tuesday, one of the memories I have is him teaching me and my sister this dance in my mum and dads living room, even the dog joined in
I love listening to this old school music being 54 and having a few frothys in the shed and looking up other old school music when growing up and listening on AM radio in the car Love Australia 😎👍
You are liked in Europe...because you chose freedom.
Who’s “we”?
@@Boeddel I think shes referring to the fact we dont win Eurovision contests any more because the countries voting always vote their neighbouring countries so the UK doesnt get a look in.
@@jackieprice3255 no, it’s because most of your songs nowadays are mediocre
I used to detest it when my grandma would play this on cassette in the car. Now I'd promise to listen to it on a loop all day just for another few hours with her. You don't know what you've got until it's gone.
If time travel ever becomes possible I’m going back to 1976 and staying there!!! ❤😊
This sweet heart of a song transports you back in time to the glorious 70s, a kinder and gentler period.
♥️
Lulz. Imagine thinking the 70s were a kinder and gentler period. There was soooooo much more crime.
I think that’s your perception as things have gotten a lot better since the 70s
@@robotniqueee You're living proof that no matter what someone types on the Internet, there will always be a "you" replying to it. (The original poster meant the MUSIC scene was kinder and gentler).
This song and Billy don't be a hero reminds me off me mum dad and my 3 sisters and 4 brothers me dad mum brother are no longer here but this song puts me back in our old house we were all happy and this song is memories played it at me mums funeral everyone cried ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love this song 🎵....brings back my childhood ❤️ of the awesome 70s
This song reminds me of being a child in my grand parents house. I was an 80s baby, it's amazing how music triggers things hidden down memory lane and In the end it's we have 😥❤

I strongly remember this song as i loved it sooo much! It was my 8th birthday and my parents bought me amongst other things, my own record player with twin speakers, and bought me the 45 record of Kisses for me!!
Oh such wonderful innocent days!! Thank you for this video on UA-cam, made my day! Anna UK. 👍👍👍❤️
I love to see these golden singer performed. They wore formal clothes. Like, they really took singing as their professional career.
One of the most happiest music i've ever listen to. My father love this music too when this played in the radio.
My 17-year-old self wrote down the lyrics to this song in my notes so that I could listen to it again, most likely having heard it somewhere and having taken a liking to it. I never listened to it again until now, 4 years later and my heart is full with happiness. I'm sending my love to anyone coming back to this song. Happy almost new years, I hope your 2023 is filled with blessings and happiness. You deserve it ❤
Yes, lived in the 70's
Great bands especially this one
Love the clothes. Bell bottom trousers, open next shirt AND a jacket. Wow!!! Miss the 70's so much! Unfortunately we all get older!!! So appreciate the past and make the most of today.
My mom's favorite song and it was playing when she was being wheeled out on the stretcher to the hospital.. she had Cancer and Staff infection.. she died shortly after.. this song makes me cry every time hearing it now. 😢
I'm sorry 😢😢😢😢
I loved this song. I was 3 when it came out. I honestly thought it was about me😂. I used to do the dance on our black marble fire surround in my socks! Ah the 1970s,when your parents weren't worried that you could slip and split your skull open!
This song remembers my childhood, when the radio and a good conversation were enough. The sad fact is that humanity is disconnected from other persons.
Class never dies ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love this song! Makes me cry as all my childhood memories come flooding back. Such nice innocent days. Please come back
Same here!😢
Save al your kisses for me..happy song...
My mum loved this she would play it over and over again sadly she passed away in 1981 I hope your listening to it in heaven and enjoying just as much xxx
I was 5 when this was released it has to be the most nostalgic song in the world for me I’m 49 now.

Same age as me bud..great memories
My granny always says that my grandad loved this song before he passed that's why I always listen to it💞🥺
What a spontaneous and even innocent beauty. I want to go back to the 70s
Hermosa canción. Lo escuchaba cuando mi hijo tenía 6 años y hasta hoy que mi hijo lo puso casi 15 años después.😢 Muy buenos recuerdos.
my dad used to sing this to me wheni was little, now i find myself singing this to myself
I love this song
It is 2024, and this song is still amazing!!!
I heard this masterpiece when I was 8 years old, and I found it so Beaufitul. It makes me feel so happy...
I will never stop loving the 70s. Nor the music from the 70s..... 😌😌🎶🎵 Heavenly.... ❤️❤️❤️💐Power👍
So innocent and funny.
Those were the good days.
For sure! And most of us didn’t know it
Do love this song it's magnificent
They were doing a week where I worked at a Lancs club just before Euro song contest and would come in during the day to rehearse the dance steps ,so I heard this song each day ,I thought it was catchy and had a good chance ,they were a nice bunch genuine and down to earth ,they sang well and had good harmony ,seeing them live the dark haired Welsh girl[ Nikki I think] had the best voice, strong and soulful.
Great song
Oh so cute.
And those men outfit.
Happy were those days. ❤
My special song. My dad sang this to me all the time. ( I was 4 in April 1976 ) not 3 as in the song but it still means the whole world to me. X
❤ I must have heard this song sometime during the week because it's been going through my head. I don't remember ever hearing it before. Sweet Little tune
THIS SONG IS SO SWEET .,I LOVE EVERY WORDS 😍😍😍😍😍
This and Iceland’s “Think about things” from 2020 have the same vibe and they both make me very happy.
How many memories! In my childhood, when I was 11 y.o., I found this song fascinating. In fact, it was the Eurovision Song Contest winner in 1976. Nowadays, for me, this song is still special and beautiful 😍👍❤
Really says what a beautiful and wholesome song it is that it's still played daily so many years later
When I was 3 until 5 year old, my dad worked away in Germany. I remember he used to sing this to me when he visited home. I used to think this song was especially for me from my dad, even now 40 odd years later , it brings a tear to my eye remembering those precious moments.
Thank you Brotherhood of Man for making me fell so special and loved by my hero...my dad

Piękna piosenka i sporo wspomnień ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
I lived with my nan and grandad when i was little. My grandad used to sing this to me when he came home lunchtimes and then had to go back to work
I was 4. I loved it. Dad would sing it around the house.?❤
Heartbroken and the only thing that keeps me going is music, the kinks ,Beatles, queen , bay city rollers . Old school songs just bang and you cant be miserable listening to them
music is medicine ...for me too ...recently I wondered if it´s just in the songs or if people really live what they sing
Very nice song,bravo
The world in these years was wonderful now we only remember nothing more but some moments the mind flight to the years of music beauty and love
Was a 8 year old back then, I was born May 23rd 1968, there was a girl in my class she got the words to the song,,! To show off,,! From northern Ireland UK 🤝
I liked this song a lot but then I really listened and found out that they are singing to their kids now I love it even more😊❤️
they are singing about a dog lol

A wonderful, positive song. And the nice performance - everytime I watch this video, I remember the times when everything seemed to be a lot easier and much more happy. I was 7 years old at this time, listening the song together with my father... 🥰 Love this song 💖

This is such a heartbreakingly wonderful snapshot of what we used to aspire to.
Wow! This has just taken me back to when I was only 6 years old back in '76! Happy happy days! I've always thought that the main male singer looks alot like World of Sport presenter Dickie Davies... Thank you for posting. X
This was the song that my mum reminded her of me. I was just 16 when she died and about 3 when them was released. #memories
Me too! i was 14 when my mom died and found this video somehow when I was 38 and singing this song to my baby son. I saw the date it was released and realized I was 3 when she heard this song on Eurovision! It made me smile to realize that's why she must have sung it to me so many times as a young child.
