My favourite of theirs is "Life's What You Make It" the best piano riff I've ever heard. And Mark Hollis's vocals were unique and compelling in all their songs.
Truly one of the greats of music Mark Hollis RIP 80s masterclass in Art rock post-rock synth-pop new wave Lights off - Headphones on - Color of Spring LP Spirit of Eden Bliss
Man I miss this guy! Rip🙏🕊️💔Mark Hollis! You definitely will be missed by us fans. Taken from us way too soon! One of the best live performances ever! Love Talk Talk!❤️🔥🙏
Talk Talk is one of the most underrated band from the 1980's. Please react to "Talk Talk by Talk Talk. Also check out "Life's What You Make it". Thank you.
The colour of spring, spirit of eden and laughing stock are 3 of the greatest albums ever made. They had their career in reverse, instant poppy success, to sod the massive audience, we're just going to make amazing music.
You should checkout the original music video to this song. It is beautiful and sad, knowing that so many of the animals in the video are either on the verge of extinction or are all endangered.😢
What a brilliant band I'm still stuck in the 80s so much talent cant believe Mark is no longer with us todays music doesn't come close some might disagree...
I have this song on my playlist. I didn't know when the band members had died, but I can't remember everybody. Hell, I'm lucky to remember myself sometimes
One of the bands of the 80’s - immense!
RIP Mark Hollis ❤
RIP Mark Hollis, great musician, writer and performer. Check out: Life's What You Make It, Talk Talk and Such a Shame.
Living in another world.
His voice made me cry, he was awesome.
Love also that the crowd is fully engaged, no phones back then. RIP Mark Hollis
Live version of such a shame is a must😂 R.I.P Mark Hollis, what a legend 👌
Thank you for playing the live version so you and your followers get the full appreciation of the band’s talent!!!!!
Life’s What You Make It! Another banger
Sounded even better live, just amazing. RIP mark.
Mark Hollis has such a haunting voice. To truly appreciate it, listen to their studio version song "Renee."
RIP Mark Hollis. This is an amazing tune! Hollis was a brilliant songwriter.
'Such a Shame' from the same live concert is a banger. RIP Mark Hollis
I totally agree my favourite version of Such A Shame is the Salamanca Concert version .
"Such a shame" live is a masterpiece
Live in Montreux
Check out the live version (Montreux) of Living In Another World to see a truly emotional performance.
That's the one
My favourite of theirs is "Life's What You Make It" the best piano riff I've ever heard. And Mark Hollis's vocals were unique and compelling in all their songs.
Loved that one too . Still do .
Love how the song builds and then goes all in full power.
Great song
Been a Talk Talk fan since 82 here in the UK yet I haven't seen this live version before. Blistering performance. RIP Mark. Thanks for reacting to it.

they're not effing underrated
The best there was, is and will ever be. Taken away as they needed angels to sing up above.
✌🏻❤️positivity 🇬🇧🏴
Mark Hollis RIP. He was way ahead of his time. His production techniques were amazing. He was taken way too soon.
The colour of spring, spirit of eden and laughing stock are 3 of the greatest albums ever made. They had their career in reverse, instant poppy success, to sod the massive audience, we're just going to make amazing music.
All the Montreux concert is absolutely great, from A to Z
You seem to be experiencing my fave stuff recently, British music - always original always innovative.
Such a HUGE loss. RIP Mark ❤
❤ RIP Mark ❤ thank you guys ❤
One of the classic 80s songs
RIP Mark Hollis
When you say Masterminds, they definitely are 🙏
Wonderful. For me the Montreux live version is perhaps even better!
wow great song and live performance. It's amazing how good (sound quality) a 40 year old live performance can sound.
You should checkout the original music video to this song. It is beautiful and sad, knowing that so many of the animals in the video are either on the verge of extinction or are all endangered.😢
One of my youth songs ❤
Miss the music from my childhood/youth. IO was 11 when this song was released.
Top notch band from the 80's
Again Marks timing is brilliant.
Superb pick. Thanks for going there!
❤❤❤❤❤talk talk
What a brilliant band I'm still stuck in the 80s so much talent cant believe Mark is no longer with us todays music doesn't come close some might disagree...
Hi guys music keeps me alive by watching your reaction Thank you so much love ya❤
Mark Hollis suffered from stage fright (thus the dark glasses). That’s also why they didn’t perform live too much. Super unfortunate
Mike Hollis RIP genius
Oh and Mark was a genius, check out the later albums. Totally original and engaging
The singer and songwriter Mark hollis unfortunately died in 2019 he had a great voice and was a proper songwriter
Super great song and group. RIP Mark, going way too soon.
Nailed the pop anthem. Next stop…invent post rock and record 3 of the most transcendent spiritual masterpieces of all time ❤
the best - cause it was personal and not commercial.
MTV days and Club Days dancing the night away to this song, awesome band yeah 🤘😎👌🎤🎸🥁
Check out their live version in Montreaux also!!
Mark Hollis, I wished you were still here 😢
❤
Then the final 3 albums, of genius...which said bugger off Corporate fckery...we're making our Art!
LUV the bass line in this tune
Not as prominent in this mix, better on the Montreux concert
Gwen Stefanis’s version is great too.
It is as it does not differ much from this original
I have this song on my playlist. I didn't know when the band members had died, but I can't remember everybody. Hell, I'm lucky to remember myself sometimes
More Talk Talk
R.i.p mark hollis,band unica di quelli anni❤
Although he was a very emotional lyricist and singer, a lot of his delivery was actually down to massive stage fright.
R.I.P. Mark Hollis, SUCH A SHAME🤢 that you are no longer with us❤👍
Yeah ... Mark killed it! Gwen Stefani murdered it...................... :D
Gwen did a great job with this song but I think the original is better. I love the little head bopping thing he does ❤
Nope, the Montrose( sic) performance is the best live performance. By far.
Montreux 1986
They have sme great songs, Talk Talk, I don't believe n you, Such a shame... so good
Talk Talk > No Doubt
❤❤❤❤❤
Brilliant 80's band.
Get on to New Order.
was a fantastic band from 80s its a shame was another great track by them.
Stunningly beautiful woman.
this is so terrible - the song is awesome - but this video - OMG
No doubt great cover.
After watching this there's no need to listen to No Doubt's cover. I personally find it boring but then again never been a ND fan.
Try the No Doubt version 👍
When you've heard the Talk Talk version, you just don't need No Doubt...
It sounds little like Bryan Ferry, imo.
