Hey I have the same brakes but while installing them I realized that olive( the yellow cap) is big and it falls down on the hose. The hose literally goes in and you can move olive until the caliper. And that makes the hose to snap out of the break lever , I can’t really install them. In fact, the whole oil dripped out from the lever😂😂😂. How can I fix the problem? What could be the reason?
Damn exactly I crushed the little brass olive had to order more and wait 2 days. They should definitely include a some spare olives. Wish I'd seen this first
Great video! I have a Amazon ebike with cheap 2 piston caliper brakes and wanting to upgrade to these.I hope I can takle this as I will have to cut hose because they are to long.
Excellent video! I just installed my Zoom front/rear kit (no manual). Your info definitely did the job. However, I have about afoot of extra brake line on the front brake. Is it OK to cut (with the brake barb tool) a live hydraulic line? Will oil be squirting all over the place? I'll be removing the connection at the master cylinder and cutting there, then install new barb. TIA.
Remove it from the master then it won’t be under an pressure but it shouldn’t really have pressure unless you pull the lever anyway. Just have it over a bucket just to keep it from getting on your floor.
Yeah it is a powered screwdriver. Super low torque. Once you get it started it speeds up the process. The key is to take your time and make sure it is threaded in 1st.
how far are you inserting those cables into the break handle? Does it hit something inside that only allows a certain length of cable inside the handle?
What about the shutoff sensor installation the wiring is that not important?? there's is a shutt off on the handle how do you connect them what if the don't match?
Hey brother I have the same p6 as youre dad I installed my zoom brakes bled it and everything and it's just not gripping the back tires I can squeeze the brakes and it breakers slowly the front is worse please help me can I email you or something please lmk
Not sure what I can do over email to be honest but you are welcome to try. My contact is on my UA-cam homepage pr at runbikemike.com. You might have defective brakes.

@@RunBikeMike Thanks. Will definitely take the pre cautions. I used your tool links.
Great stuff but threading screws with a drill?
Yeah it is a powered screwdriver. Super low torque. Once you get it started it speeds up the process. The key is to take your time and make sure it is threaded in 1st.
Do these come with pads installed, what pads and specifically brands do you suggest for replacements?
Great video, very clear and informative
