Gotta say, your analysis is spot on! I think the Jamie burger would only have had an honest shot if there was some kickin' Marinara dipping sauce or maybe a balsamic and charred jalapeno reduction glaze? Great channel bud.
I feel like Jamie Oliver's burger gives off the energy of an alien from another planet that really likes Earth but completely misses the point when trying to replicate things. Like yeah his is a burger but gherkins and a way too thick sliced tomato?
I haven't watched this yet, but if Fieri's "donkey sauce" is on his burger I already know it's going to win. Say what you will about him, but that sauce is bomb.
Hey Adam, when you do a Tennessee episode....please consider Memphis style dry ribs or Nashville hot chicken! Both are national, not just statewide delicacies!! Thanks 😊
Hello Adam! I love you and your work! But I just can’t understand how you chose this particular burger recipe from Jamie? The only explanation I could find was that it was done just for fun. I found a video of this recipe, it's 2 minutes long and it's over 10 years old. And you don't even need to cook this burger to know it's crap. Jaime has a ton of really interesting burger recipes to choose from to make the fight fair. And it’s completely incomprehensible the enthusiasm with which people attacked Jaime for being a shitty cook...lol, everyone makes mistakes, this is cooking, it’s a life long journey and there’s no way without mistakes. Peace to all ✌️
My only experience with Oliver is thru youtube cooking shows doing his recipes, or roasting the guy for messing up fried rice, and I legit wonder how on earth he is a popular chef? Like, hes supposed to be really good with lots of restaurants and books right? For the rest, Ramsasys is the best way. Its mostly a simple burger with a flair, which is the best way to do imo. Guys sounds good on paper, but I think the cheese sauce is way to much and Id wind up scraping that mountain of lettuce off if it was served to me lol
I agree, I think maybe I’m missing something but I’ve watched a few clips (primarily other cooks roasting him) and I’ve never seen a recipe that looks good lol
My vote is going to Gordon’s! That’s what a real burger looks like! A juicy meaty patty, real melty cheese, and buttery soft brioche. 👌The only con is too much “seasoning” I would skip the salt on the lettuce and tomato. Salt on the meat and onions is more than enough 😊
Problem with Gordon's burger is it makes the normal mistake Europeans make when they make burgers, they forget that it's about the meat and get overly focused on the toppings. Confit'ing things, using some heirloom toppings, over dressing, etc. It's the reason bog standard burger stand burgers regularly blow people away and no one leaves a haute cuisine or euro steak house talking about the burgers.
Yeah, I truly love Kenji’s cooking, but I think these guys all are TV chefs in addition to having restaurant’s etc. (p.s. I have all of Kenji’s books and make many of his recipes. I love seeing him in the NYT too.)
I would not call Jamie Olivers burger a true hamburger, With the ingredients that went into it, it's more a meatloaf burger. It was one pathetic looking burger and as stated earlier, it's enough to make a person cry.
Wait! Where did you find that recipe of Jamie’s??? If you just type “Jamie Oliver burger” on UA-cam a bunch of his burger videos come up and they all look amazing! I’m wondering if this was an old recipe from his early days. To be fair, burgers (or food in general) weren't what they are today. Also, if I’m not mistaken, I think other folks publish their recipes on his site as well, so this might not even be his.
Way back when Jamie Oliver was known as "The Naked Chef,," he had a burger called The Botham Burger. You should check that one out. Blows Guy and Gordon's away.
Guys burger looks phenomenal and I definitely need to try it immediately. On the other hand, how is Jamie Oliver a well known chef with a burger like that? I make better looking burgers like that and im a mediocre home cook
So because there’s no flour in the sauce that somehow negates the pound of cheese? It’s not a classic French style cheese sauce, but it’s still a cheese sauce.
When Jamie Oliver first appeared on tv, I really liked him. Proper enthusiasm, great skills and recipes. That burger looks like a cooking lesson at high school. As a Brit, I’m embarrassed for him…… Whilst I’d definitely defer the Americans on such things, we do in fact have way better burgers than this in the uk!
Was this a mistake or intentional? Guy and Gordon's buns were toasted but Jamie's was not; was that how the chefs presented their original recipes? So in addition to the worst meat (I agree to the no-no on salt and crackers mixed in the meat), no sauce, Jamie doesn't even know that buns are best toasted?
I prefer Gordon’s burger for the delicious cooked onions, though I’d prefer it less done with the cheese not as melted. Also, IMO, all the burgers suffered by not being assembled when the juices were still running. Cheeseburgers need to be set on the bun direct from the heat.
Jamie Oliver over here still mixing stuff in his burgers like it's 2005. I'd take the donkey sauce and shrettuce from guys burger and put that on Gordon's burger. Also swap the cheddar for regular American cheese. Cheddar is gonna get lost in all that beefy goodness. And the lettuce and tomato goes UNDER THE PATTY.
How the hell is Jamie Oliver so successful?! I don't care if some of his food knocks it out of the park his overall grade is tanked by how many awful things he's made.
I mean, are you intentionally trying to make new names for the cheeses like someone did for Worcestershire sauce? Provolone is not a hard word. plus... Cheddy?
Jamie and Gordon don't have giant PNG heads so they were already at a disadvantage. Add in the fact Jamie Oliver has committed crimes against humanity and he should have come in fourth place, not third.
I wasnt going to comment, but I feel like have to say something about how sad Jamie's burger mad me. 😢 You took out the cat hair and lost all the flavor.
Without watching this, the burger on the left in the thumbnail looks best to me. The other 2 look incomplete. The far right looks sad. If those match up with the chefs behind each burger then that makes Guy Fieri the winner. I like classic style burgers,. Shredded iceberg for the win.
Ramsey can't come up with a decent fried chicken recipe so I don't trust him for much of anything. If you want to judge a Chef, judge by their fried chicken recipe, not their burger. Top tier Michelin fried chicken is almost non existent. At least Thomas Keller of Per Se put some effort into his. And it's still nothing to write home about.
Uncle Roger is right about Jamie Oliver, that burger made me cry.
HAHAHAHAHAHA
Haaayaaa
I kinda forgot, but was there olive oil on it?
(sorry children)
That's not a burger.... That's meatloaf, masquerading as a burger.
Crackers in the meat? Uncle Roger is definitely right about that goof.
Gotta say, your analysis is spot on! I think the Jamie burger would only have had an honest shot if there was some kickin' Marinara dipping sauce or maybe a balsamic and charred jalapeno reduction glaze? Great channel bud.

Not a huge Guy fan but that burger looked the best out of the 3. So hungry for a burger now!
I really liked the look of Gordon's.
Awesome video respect
Hey Adam, when you do a Tennessee episode....please consider Memphis style dry ribs or Nashville hot chicken! Both are national, not just statewide delicacies!! Thanks 😊
Ahahahaha. I laughed a lot in this one. Very enjoyable
Great video! None of them stand a chancr against a Guga burger, though!
should I do that next? 😏
@@AdamWittYES
I love a special burger..., They are so special. Very smart people say that special burgers are the best
tbh that donley sauce sounds bomb

I agree!!! I’ve only ever seen Oliver being roasted and nothing really seems that good?? I’m curious what he did right that made him so famous lol
this kinda makes it scary that jamie oliver is a world known chef cooking a burger like this.
I agree, I think maybe I’m missing something but I’ve watched a few clips (primarily other cooks roasting him) and I’ve never seen a recipe that looks good lol

Agreed. My tongue was hurting just watching all that salt go on.
@@adamcravets5408 lol Ramsey out here trying to give ppl high blood pressure
Maybe just lightly salt them…

You gotta do Kenji next.nhis burgers are incredible
Yeah, I truly love Kenji’s cooking, but I think these guys all are TV chefs in addition to having restaurant’s etc. (p.s. I have all of Kenji’s books and make many of his recipes. I love seeing him in the NYT too.)
Haha that Jamie Oliver burger!😂
Here's a thought: Fieri's cheese sauce on Ramsay's patty. Lettuce of your choice.
I betcha it would be sublime.
I would not call Jamie Olivers burger a true hamburger, With the ingredients that went into it, it's more a meatloaf burger. It was one pathetic looking burger and as stated earlier, it's enough to make a person cry.
What frying pan do you use in this video? I must know! 😮
I don’t know what brand, but it just looks like a nice cast iron pan
I’d eat Gordon Ramsey burger, it looks so good and I love sauté onions.
Yummy!
Sweet!

No surprise there!
Should of made a Guga Burger too
Oh don't you worry ;)
Idk about yall but Gordon’s burger looks fucking banging I’ll pay a solid 25$ for that
Uncle Rodger said Jamie Oliver had already lost before the video started.
Way back when Jamie Oliver was known as "The Naked Chef,," he had a burger called The Botham Burger. You should check that one out. Blows Guy and Gordon's away.
My mom would make burgers like Jamie Oliver’s to stretch or burger out as far as it could go.
lol Uncle roger will be shocked you include Jamie Oliver ha ha any chili Jam with that burger
Guys burger looks phenomenal and I definitely need to try it immediately. On the other hand, how is Jamie Oliver a well known chef with a burger like that? I make better looking burgers like that and im a mediocre home cook
To be fair "SMC" is still the same as "SMD" IYKYK😂
Sorry Guy... that ain't no cheese sauce. It doesn't even have a roux...
So because there’s no flour in the sauce that somehow negates the pound of cheese? It’s not a classic French style cheese sauce, but it’s still a cheese sauce.

Isn't Jamie's burger a meatloaf patty???
Slug Burger?
In England Jaime Oliver is despised by the public
Was this a mistake or intentional? Guy and Gordon's buns were toasted but Jamie's was not; was that how the chefs presented their original recipes? The second you mix non meat ingredients inside a burger patty, you've completely lost.
Has never done anything to make a burger any better.

you mean like 1705?
yeah that jamie oliver burger was wierd.
Gordons looked the best, I can bet Guys tasted the best with that cheese sauce for my preferences, and Jaime...agreed just sad 😂😂
Jamies looks like a weird kids burger.. Gordons looks gooood
By "Thin" slice of tomato you meant not thin at all? lol
Also why is Jamie Oliver a famous chef? lol
Gordon’s burger hands down - thicker patty is juicier, carmelized onions beat raw, and butter lettuce beats iceberg.
Jamie's burgers are just smashed meatball ayyaah
TTB Time To Burger
Jamie Oliver shame on you for lying to us. That's a mini meatloaf not a freaking hamburger.
I wouldn't call Guy Fieri A popular chef because nobody outside of America has heard of him
How the hell is Jamie Oliver so successful?! I don't care if some of his food knocks it out of the park his overall grade is tanked by how many awful things he's made.
Just made a comment asking the same thing lol, I dont understand it.
Why do you think Nigel "Uncle Roger" Ng has heavily denounced Oliver's food on UA-cam?
I mean, are you intentionally trying to make new names for the cheeses like someone did for Worcestershire sauce? Provolone is not a hard word. plus... Cheddy?
😎👍🏻👍🏻🔥🔥
Jamie and Gordon don't have giant PNG heads so they were already at a disadvantage. Add in the fact Jamie Oliver has committed crimes against humanity and he should have come in fourth place, not third.
😂 you choose the most basic and boring burger for Jamie Oliver i see. 🤣
it's sad that Jamie a 'professional' chef produces that as 'his burger'.
Jamie Oliver needs to stop. That guy is a bane on the culinary world.
I hate iceberg lettuce. That stuff is trash, so Gordon's burger would win. Plus guy specializes in unhealthy food.
I think Jamie needs a new career
Jamie Oliver Burger looks sad lmao
I wasnt going to comment, but I feel like have to say something about how sad Jamie's burger mad me. 😢 You took out the cat hair and lost all the flavor.
Jamie Oliver deserves to be trolled, he's trash level... What, no Chilli Jam? lol Shoutout to Uncle Roger for that reference.
Oliver is such a joke in the culinary world. Enjoy your videos Dude
Without watching this, the burger on the left in the thumbnail looks best to me. The other 2 look incomplete. The far right looks sad. If those match up with the chefs behind each burger then that makes Guy Fieri the winner. I like classic style burgers,. Shredded iceberg for the win.
After scrolling through the video timeline, I was right. The other 2 burgers just look disappointing.
That Oliver burger is shite
