I need to know: out of Joshua Weissman, Brian Lagerstrom, and Josh from Mythical Kitchen, three of the most successful chefs on the internet, whose recipe game is the most on-point? And what better way to test that than with a classic fried chicken sandwich? Join me as we pit these three internet icons against one another to determine which Sando Slinger reigns supreme. Let’s get cookin'. 🤘🏼 Adam

Mythical Chef Josh, and JW are amongst my favorite UA-camrs to watch period, even if I don't care about what they're cooking.
MC Josh's other content like the podcast and his interview series "Last Meals" are must watches for anyone. I'd argue he'll be at Sean from Hot Ones level of interviewing in a year or two at this rate.

@@Cessate lol I mean he definitely is a little pretentious, especially when rating other foods and when it comes to his "but better" series. Saw a good video that explained how his brisket technique was filled with inaccuracies. I appreciate your descriptions of what and why you liked each. I feel confident in which I would choose, because you gave enough for me to make that decision.
I'd go with J W, but also think it a bit too sweet, so I'd use less of that sauce. I can't stand the flavor of mold, and generally don't like spicy hot as a primary flavor. If I was to make that one, I'd double down on the cream sauce to mellow the overall spicy and pair it with a drink that does similar. (perhaps a mint milkshake or an iced thai tea?)

*I learned 1st-hand how important certain ingredients are to making an amazing dish vs just ok:*
^ oyster or fish sauce in stir fry - sounds disgusting vs flavors I like, but is actually what makes that must-get-another-bite-in-my-mouth experience.
^ black vinegar & shou shing wine - if you want your chow mien (and other dishes) to have that taste that is just missing from home versions.
^ a lot of beef dishes really need some kind of earthy flavor (I tend to go earthy green) and also need some kind of sour (I tend to go for sour cream into the mix to cook and caramelize a bit)

Yeah, they do a lot of novelty stuff on MK, but Josh has made a handful of more "traditional" chicken sandwiches on the channel that could've actually competed with the others. That Taki thing was obviously never designed to be a culinary delight. Looks cool, though.

Josh #2 had a wild recipe, actually doesn't look bad though! I mean, visually... kind of, but the idea of making a blueberry sauce is neat.
4:45 NO ADAM DONT JUGGLE THE MASON JAR AAAHHHH
In typical shootout fashion, I gotta wonder how those sandwiches were temp/sogginess-wise at taste time. You're really fast and precise at putting things together (sans lemon cheek rip) but it seems tricky to order this all! Unless the only thing you really need to time is the fried chicken...
Brian is definitely my favorite of these 3 as I like a good buffalo sauce. But I do have a soft spot for the approach Josh's goes for with slaw and Korean Fried Chicken flavors.
BUT, I think I like your chicken the best. I personally love when you let the chicken stand out more not completely coasted in sauce, just dress the bun. I personally like making a simple chicken katsu (with thighs) and throwing that on a toasty bun with a spicy/garlicky mayo. I AM SIMPLE OK??
You made yours by combining the others, but if you go from scratch, what kind of chicken sandwich do you like to make?
