I think when they started him as captain Krakoa they should have given him some tech that could harness his powers in some way. Like an optic blast rifle, or an energy shield.

The mutants have been in "civil war" for 90% of their existence. Only a handful of times have they been somewhat united. But their status quo has been the X-Men versus the Brotherhood of Mutants, and most mutants take one side or the other at any given time.
Also, that's not a clover on Dr. Stasis' forehead. It's a club suit symbol. As in diamonds, clubs, hearts, and spades playing/poker cards. Makes you wonder if we'll see the other two suits crop up at some point.
So we know Diamond Sinister, we’ve just met Club Sinister, so that heavily implies a Heart and a Spade Sinister, too.
You're forgetting comics. Everything goes back to the status quo. That means this Clubs clone was created by the original Essex to think he's the original.
Keep in mind that Essex is one, if not the, most two-faced characters in Marvel. Any time he's allied himself with anyone he always had other motivations and hidden agendas. It's just the root of his character.
It's also worth noting that the future of Earth is a world dominated by Homo novissima (post-humans). What we don't know is how all that started but if you know Essex's main obsession then you know the idea of being the creator of the species that is superior to humans and mutants is irresistible. Therefore playing both sides against each other is the perfect way to escalate the conflict and get support for post-human research.
So in essence this story was in essence use the death of cyclops, the Captain Krakoa identity to use the reveal the Krakoan resurrection protocols to the world through Ben urich leading into A.X.E. Judgement day event. Gotta say that was well crafted story from Gerry Dugan.
But in what essence of the essence was the essence of that essence an essence of the original essence? The first essence or the last essence?
Imagine a one shot of Synch, Darwin, and Leech fighting classic big bads like thanos, knull, galactus, etc throughout the multiverse..
Benefit of adamantium bones as a wolverine: indestructible fulcrum for leveraging muscle mass. Muscle flexing is a process of healing and tearing fibers, which would only be heightened by regeneration. However, at some point the force of the muscles would begin to fracture the bones they connect to, limiting overall strength.

15:30 wait, doesn't Logan's skeleton make him like a hundred pounds heavier than he'd be otherwise? Wouldn't giving Laura adamantium bones require her to almost re-learn how to fight? I don't doubt she has the strength to manage the extra mass for normal moving about but that's not the same as fighting effectively with double your previous weight.
I didn't think of that but I was also wondering how this interacts with her healing factor? Is hers as strong as Logan's? Maybe she can't be snapped like a twig by most people, but she'll probably heal more slowly now too...
I doubt that was considered.

I mean she’s well aware of how wolverine works and is literally a trained assasin since she was made to kill from the egg onward she’s got more muscle mass thank you think after 2 decades
@@Dreforian Her healing factor pre coating was slightly weaker then Logans. Logan can basically heal from getting disembowled in seconds. Laura iirc takes full minutes to do the same. But shes about as equally hard as wolverine is. Even if shes blown to bits, she can hang on to life about as long as logan can.
Remember though with the resurrection protocols, the adamantium coating both Laura and Wolverine receive is much thinner then the weapons plus coating is on logan. As the coating they receive is through matter manipulation, not sloppy metal injections. The amount of adamantium krakoa has access to is only a very small block. And they've already sent 20 or so fully coated wolverines to die on orchis. So the coating is definitely several nanometers thick. Which is really all adamantium ever needed to have its full durability.
Their powers are also grafted onto them. and they can be modified (strengthened, weakened, or outright removed) during resurrection protocols. So its fair to say that while if we take into consideration how *normal* comics history should work, Laura should be dramatically weakened by the new coat of paint on her bones, in reality with the magic properties of the resurrection protocols, none of that logical weakness applies anymore.
Laura is a lot tougher physically now, but with the Resurrection protocols (as shes currently revived) she has Logans full adamantium skeleton with almost none of the expected downsides. Her healing factor is still much weaker then logans though. That never changed, However considering her skeleton was a mistake, and adamantium is a very precious commodity to them. If shes resurrected again she will likely only go back to her normal skeleton. As the orchis suicide missions probably used their store of adamantium up.

This makes perfect sense. Somebody had a good idea. Captain Krakoa is a cunning creation. Never would've seen that coming.
Lady Deathstrike can never keep a arm or arms they always get cut off and in a claws vs claws fight or blades fight.
Sync is Peter Petrelli. Remember how they make you feel and use their powers.

Also, by the looks of this there’s going to be four Essex (Mr Sinister), seeing how this version has a clover and the krakoan one has a diamond. I wonder what Heart and Spade Essex are like
Synch's always been kinda better since even when he first came out since he could usually use those powers better than the original wielder could. Now he's approaching broken levels of overpowered. I'm kinda here for it since he's such a likeable character.

Two questions) If Sinister was never a mutant then why is he allowed on Krakoa when characters like Franklin Richards are no longer welcomed and secondly how did Synch get metal claws when he copied Laura? Shouldn't they be bone?
Is the clover not a club like a deck of cards? Diamonds, Clubs, Hearts and Spades? multiple cloning experiments/ versions of sinister with different aspects?

He's been Omega even back in Gen X days. In my opinion... Emma Frost has always kept an eye on him. Honestly, the whole team was pretty bonkers if they had time to fine tune everyone. You had Chamber, who was a walking psionic reactor and carries the bloodline of Apocalypse. Husk, who could peel herself and be whoever and heal herself. They even hinted that she could mimic their abilities to a certain degree. M, who literally was just the perfect She-Hulk without the form, with a 2nd side called Penance. Think of Emma Frost diamond form and Lady Deathrstrike. There was a moment she froze in public and they stated it would take the Hulk to move her. Mondo(clone/spy), basically he controlled earth and natured. He was originally killed off... but hes now on Krakoa, which makes sense. Then there was Skin... he was cool. Jubilee... Emma Frost stated, "has the potential to detonate matter at a sub-atomic level". She could blow up planets... Where was she at during the Incursions...?
Given that he's not yet met Franklin Richards he's potentially beyond Omega level but not currently.
Sync and Darwin would be an interesting duo

They're obviously setting Synch up to be a plot device somewhere down the road here because there's really no need to be expanding his abilities unless they need him to do something essential to the story which was originally beyond the scope of what he used to be limited to.
I think they're just trying to make mutants in general a lot more powerful than they used to be. That seems to be a general trend in the new phase of mutants: make them as powerful as possible, then make their enemies even more powerful.
@@samueldimmock694 Mutants have always had top tier powers within their community. That's been their modus operandi since the likes of Apocalypse, Onslaught and Wanda.
@@KryyssTV Correction: some mutants have always had top-tier powers. Most did not, and those who did weren't really allowed to use the full extent of their power for one reason or another except when facing similarly powerful threats. Now, most threats that the mutants face are extremely powerful, so the writers are free to use the most powerful mutants as often as they like without nerfing them, and to expand their powers if they wish. So that's what they're doing. At least, that's what I think.
Sync can do this because he evolved further in the vault back in that story and his backup was saved...

There is going to be 4 total (technically different) Nathaniel Essex’s eventually, the most known one with the red diamond on forehead, new Essex with the black club (see cause they’re both playing card symbols) it leads me to believe that the 3rd and 4th versions we will be introduced to later will have the red heart and the black spade.
Just seems like what’s gonna happen.

How would Sinister's clone be able to get onto Krakoa? If the real Sinister could not enter Krakoan gates because he isn't a mutant, then he would have had to be specifically allowed permission. Does that mean that Sinister's clone has an X-gene? Because at the end of HOX, Sinister arrives at Krakoa through a gate, along with Exodus, Gorgon, Apocalypse, etc. Did Xavier and Magneto just open the gates temporarily for those guys to come through at the end of HOX?

So when it comes to the emotional manipulation of krakoa they should have taken into the character of Empath. While he was left as a shattered person at the end of Hellions he had the capability to override Modok’s invasion. It would have been a great redemption for the character. As we learned he’s struggling with his own upbringing and his own illness where his x gene was unlocked earlier than him learning to be a normal person. And his background as Emma Frosts favorite student due to his potential.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that's not a clover. That's a club. That's freaking terrifying. That means there's a multitude of clones. Hither to unknown. Each with it's own classification. Clubs ♣️, Hearts ♥️, Diamonds ♦️ and Spades♠️. And we've only ever seen (managed to catch) the "king" of Diamonds. A lil bit kitchy or cliche but a damn interesting plot twist if there was one.

Unknown at this point but “muscle memory-ing” two powers would probably overload the healing factor

This actually answered a big question for me regarding Laura Kinney and her adamantium claws because I thought her bones were covered: How did her handler (Kimura) cut off one of X-23's arms? Now I see why.
If marvel never included Mojo in a story or comic ever again ... my coffee would taste a little better!

Makes me forget that resurrection and revivals are normal to see for readers, but forget that the normal human people inside the world of Marvel don’t know it’s even possible

With the reveal of this new Essex with the clover I'm wonder if there are actually 4 clones, one with each card symbol on it (Diamond, Clover, Spade and Heart), and then the original is either dead or somewhere else entirely. That would be a pretty cool twist.

I’m loving his new name and new outfit
I have been loving the Sync love in the comics and hope they keep it up. He is amazing and been so interesting in this run. He is a better stronger version of Hope it is just that simple. Later one you will see him sync with other Omega level mutants and use their powers on the Omega level scale moments after doing it. And when you think of it that would make him a walking X-god seeing how he could do anything. That isn't even counting if he ever had to fight non mutants and get even more powers as well. And the one thing about this can be fixed by getting one mutants powers and then he would have no limit to what he can do.
Synch is not Omega level, he is not more powerful then Hope, hope takes people's power and uses it at 200% while Sych can use your power at 100% with very little training
@@dragan404 but that is only looking at the one thing Hope can do. Sync can still use a Omega level power instantly. He can store multiple ones at a time. He can Sync from farther away than Hope. And biggest of all he can Sync with non mutants as well. Something Hope can't do. In my eyes and many others He is Omega. Just because he doesn't have that one aspect as Hope doesn't discredit what he has
@@Art80385 you are not understanding, that one thing he is missing is the Unknown upper limit, Darwin has become a God of death but be is also not Omega level, the definition is not for for people with powers like that

I love that the Sinister we know and love has a Red Diamond and the one we encounter now has a Black Clover. So where's Black Spade and Red Heart Sinisters?

Man I am glad I watched this because yeah too many plot points. I totally forgot where that shamrock Sinister came from.
I had a similar question about how Wolverine resurrected with an adamantium skeleton. The Proteus explanation makes sense. The only thing I don't like the idea of having adamantium in the body is that Magneto can easily defeat those kind of mutants including Wolverine.
every character has a counter, it's just the law of large numbers.
I watch all your videos and this isn't your fault but there are SO many xmen characters that no matter how many times I replay an xmen video I get lost 😭 hopefully them being in the mcu helps me there

You know there's so many explanations for hero revival in comics that this plot point seems kinda funny in it being as serious problem when you think about it in a meta sense.

To be truthful, I really don’t like limitless power copiers so I hope they don’t make Synch an Omega. I know there’s always a way to write around it like giving Rogue a weakness in dealing with the other aspects of the person when she absorbs powersets or giving Hope only mutant powers. But it kinda shoehorns the character into only really being useful when big things happen like Rogue against Nimrod or Hope against Bastion. Otherwise they kinda stand around and you wonder why they don’t just copy every available power around them and mow down the enemy.
Yeah, I'm not a fan of it either. Honestly, I'm not a fan of how ridiculously overpowered some characters have gotten. Like Cyclops can shoot eyebeams, cool. Wolverine has adamantium claws, cool. Oh this guy can just do everything and is basically god... Ok, so then how is there conflict?

Negative. Sync can use people's powers at their best and in ways they may not have thought of whereas Rogue can't (or technically ✌🏾doesn't✌🏾 I suppose).
Either way, Sync would be classified as Omega because he's a master whereas Rogue's a star pupil, if that makes sense. Plus Sync's been working with his powers exponentially longer sure to the centuries he was in the Vault as well.
