- We basically stole this cop car (legally) and had to get it on our trailer. Blake shows how to get it free rolling (neutral) without having the key by finding a secret location to unlock the special column shifter found on these pursuit chargers. Another thing to note is that if you are looking for a column shifter for a NAG1 transmission, the cop car is the way to go! We are getting the 5.7 Hemi from this 2012 charger for our own research and obviously to make more Hemi parts. We are starting to wonder where we will put all the hemis we have in our shop. Does this override the shifter parking lock? 2018 dodge charger pursuit
THIS DIDN'T HELP AT ALL!! My 2008 dodge police interceptor with a console shifter is stuck in lock on park. I can't figure it out I don't know what to do! we looked in this exact spot like the video and there isn't a pink thing anywhere in that area!! What do i do!! Please help!! 😢

Lol. The mileage we can handle. But we are hoping this to be a solid engine that was put away due to body damage 😆🤞
I had to do this to my 2011 charger pursuit because the brake shift interlock solenoid failed!

Is there a way that button would be able to be zip tied? I have a pursuit charger but it only gets stuck when placing the shifter in park position otherwise it works good. Any advice?

Anyone want a snap on torque angle gauge? I got it used, works well in original box with instructions.

Good question, I have an 09.
On my 08 there is a little tiny chrome button that will release shifter. Had to figure this out when dealer couldnt figure it out. It is located dead center behind steering wheel on column.
Plastic removal required.

@@adamfarrell1644 Thanks again man, I found that little button, what a pain. Now my question is. What is the actual fix for this? I press the button to release it and it goes into gear but as soon as I put it back in park, it locks up again.
