Thank you for all the details, settings and the bonus free files. I have been trying to find settings to cut out stencils for literally hours. I so appreciate your time and will bookmark your page for future purchases!
Hi Jerry! Thanks for the comment. It's hard to recommend cut settings as it's unlikely you'll get exactly the same materials as I've got, but if you have a Cameo 4 I would try a depth of 4, Force of 33, Speed of 2, 1 pass to start, but you'll probably have to test and adjust. I use an auto blade.
Using an index divider is brilliant. I bought mylar sheets to make stencils, but the autoblade won't cut through. I don't know how to use a different blade... and override the autoblade. :(
Curious, I used the settings for stencil paper and it doesn't cut on my cameo 4, setting is 3, pressurem 33, with 2 passes. I didn't work. I was excited to see your index stencil setting only to frown because it's a custom cut setting and you didn't say what you set.... the blade at 6. I'm actually using dura-lar media .005 matte film. Is that close to your index sheet thickness? Looking forward to your reply. Your stencils are beautiful :)
Hi Kate, I'm not sure how I missed your comment, but I'll answer now. I use an auto blade. Here's my settings for my Cameo 4: depth of 4, Force of 33, Speed of 2, 1 pass, but it's hard to recommend cut settings because every material is different. You'll have to test and adjust. My dividers are just from the dollarstore, so they're a bit inconsistent, and I find that the different colours cut a bit differently. I've never tried cutting duralar, and I can't cut mylar to save my life. You'll have to experiment.
Hi! I use plastic binder dividers from the dollarstore as a cheap material to cut my stencils from - the red ones are just the ones I cut from the red divider sheet. :)

So you stencil the page with the shapes first and then use the pieces to stencil the middles?
You can use them any way you want- different ways will give you different effects.
Howdid you get the stencils in red

How do you cut 10 mil stencil sheets? It is so thick!
Thanks for your comment. I’m not sure- I never use materials that thick. What does Google say?
