Black Mountain Honey I got a lebelroo, new labels arrived today for the 4oz jars but can't seem to get them to stick to the jar as it goes around and the label sticks to itself. The front roller doesn't move much as the jar turns. Any tips?
@@OllysFarm Hmm. That's very strange. Got any pics or videos to show how you have set it up by any chance? feel free to drop me an email - blackmountainhoney@gmail.com

Hi - Have just watched your video on the Labelroo machine. Could you tell me if the machine will hold a label spool which is 16.5cm in height? My labels are only 11cm in height but are supplied on a larger spool. Many thanks.
hello, I bought this labeller and I made about two hundred pieces.. the label is always slightly crooked, a millimeter, what can I do to adjust it better?
Thank you, I am very new to the condiments business so this video has been extremely useful. What type of printing machine do you use for BB date please? Someone very kindly designed the labels for me but I'm a lot lost as regards labelling and date stamp machine so any help would be greatly appreciated. Regards
Hi Lawrence, I remembered you did a Labelroo review and have just come back to watch it again. One question, I notice you added your tamper label after the main label, how easy would it be to put the tamper label on first and then look to align the main label such that the tamper label was in the same relative position every time? I ask this because I always put my tamper label on first with the main label over the top. Many thanks Pete
@@BlackMountainHoney is it easy to get the position of the labels accurate relative to each other? Ie. Could the tamper label fall in same relative position every time?
Hi, thanks for such an informative video. I wanted to ask if this machine works with any labels on a roll as long as its in a 76mm core? Or do you need to buy labels on rolls from somewhere specific?
Hey. No worries. Any labels will with with a 76mm core. Need to be outside wound as opposed to inside wound though. With the short side as the leading edge.
Thanks for the quick reply 👍, when you say shortest edge leading...what do you mean exactly? Also, is there any minimum size bottle and label this machine uses. We would like to use it for spray perfume bottles, around 10cm tall, 4cm diameter. Labels might only be 4-5 cm wide potentially...is that too small? Thanks
@@cryptob1752 Just means the shorter edge needs to come off the side of the roll. Ours are 200mm x 50mm and its the 50mm edge that comes off the side of the roll. Not the 200mm. Should work with your labels I would have thought. Its quite adjustable
@Black Mountain Honey oh okay, I get what you mean. That might be an issue with ours because our bottles are quite slim? The labels will be maybe 3cm X 9cm, the 9cm will be the edge of the label, 3cm will be top and bottom. So it would need to fed off the 9cm edge.
@@BlackMountainHoney Thank you Lawrence. The labels look splendid, they really add a certain, Je ne sais pas quoi, to your product. I'm only a hobby bee keeper, but I love my honey to look it's best. I'm off to their website now. Best. Stuart.

@@stephenkelly2365 No worries. You then add in the min dims as a rectangle and add as a custom shape. For example ours are 100mm long and 30mm diameter on the circle so I enter 100 mm x 30mm into custom shape

I cant vouch for the aftercare as mine has been flawless but I can vouch for the product. Its AWESOME! Ive jarred over 20k jars in 2 years using this machine. There is literally nothing that can break? Why did you return it if you dont mind me asking?
@@BlackMountainHoney we thought the product would be suitable for our application but as we are using a top sticker, it needed to align a certain way with the label on the jar, we couldn't line it up accurately therefore the presentation was no good. Product wise its not bad, but the aftercare has been a pain. As a startup ever penny counts and this has eaten into our budget and we would like to recoup our money.
@@Akgo27 Sorry to hear that. Hope you manage to sort it out. Like I said, I cannot vouch for the aftercare but I think the machine is 10/10 for standard label application. Great review! I use a Labelroo, it's an excellent piece of equipment
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it. It's a really great piece of kit!
cool video, definitely going to get one :) looking forward to seeing your honey-house set-up

I may sound silly but does this work on an hexagonal jar?
Sadly not
Very very helpful! Many thanks from Germany for your explanation. What is the littel metal rod for?
No worries. Its there for label alignment if you are trying to align with a particular element of the jar or another label. I dont use it personally
How much weight can it withstand? I wonder if this would be suitable for 900g jars

hello, I bought this labeller and I made about two hundred pieces.. the label is always slightly crooked, a millimeter, what can I do to adjust it better?
can it be used for a 10mm diameter tube?
What causes the bottle to spin when you turn the crank handle? it doesnt look like its connected?
it's the label coming out that turns the bottle. It sticks to a portion and the tension in the spool then spins the bottle. Kinda hard to explain
Does it work with Hexagonal Jars?
Hi Lawrence, how do you sanitise the jars / lids?
Is there a video on how to line up the tamper-proof label using this machine
No. I got rid of my guide as I found it just got in the way. Its surprisingly accurate but just gets in the way if you dont need it to the mm
Cheers

Hi Lawrence what size label would you need for a 12 once jar?? Also, where did you get that hand operated machine for labelling ?
We use a 200mm x 65mm for the 12oz but lots of different sizes work. The machine is the labelroo. I bought it online.
