It would've been awesome playing fable 2 and 3 with a world full of heros. We wouldn't have felt so powerful so early because we'd have been able to see what the strongest heroes could do. It would've been a cool setting for Fable 2 if we went through the game learning from a future generation of heroes and towards the end becoming strong enough to found a monarchy like the original. Then Fable 3 comes around and maybe have the same setting. Logan has become a corrupt Tyrant and maybe even corrupted the heros guild and we need to start a revolution to show the citizens that heros aren't all bad. Awesome video!! Keep up the awesome work!!
I was just playing that today, or I should say Fable 2. My Fable Anniversary isn't getting played right now because I'm at the point of the game where I have to race the other inmates and my controller keeps making me walk slowly instead of running. That happened to the Lost Tales on the first generation player as well. It's crazy. Love everything else.
Ok so you said that in the second scenario that heroes would eventually disappear because their powers would dilute over the generations but I think there is and issue with this idea The only time we have seen this happen was in the scenario where heroes were practically gone and only had non heroes to continue their bloodline with. But in a timeline where heroes are more abundant and science flourished it doesn't seem to farfetched to think that the people would realize that the power of heroes would seem genetically linked. And if that happens chances are heroes would probably start thinking that maybe it's best for heroes to have children with other heroes. Now this would lead into its own series of issues but I don't think heroes would actually die off that easily
What happens if The Hero decides he wants the tower? Is he strong enough with everything at the max in his spells and strength and great weapons and everything to kill Teresa?
@@reepacheirpfirewalker8629 Definitely not. Theresa has almost nearly pure hero blood and is hundreds of years old. She had far more potential and time than the hero.
Honestly it was good that the guild fell, reason I say that is because they never actually held the students accountable for any of their bad actions as well as letting them get away with things people hated about them, I understand the people should be grateful for the courage they all had taking out monsters that no one else would ever face normally but at the same time the hero's should have stayed humble and accepted that they are guardians of men, women and children, That's my understanding though 😅
I get what you're saying but I also kinda understand the heros. Like we see it all the time in fiction but if I randomly was granted super powers I can't realistically say I wouldn't use them for personal gain. And eventually as time went on I might end up seeing people with no powers as inferior. Power corrupts and humans are selfish. It's a perfect match up to make a person crazy and delusional. I don't think the citizens should have just been grateful and moved on, but genocide wasn't the best route to take either. I don't think the heros should have forced themselves to be humble either, but practically becoming bandits wasn't the way to go either. No real perfect outcome here sadly but that's one of the things I love about Fable.
@@JFN2760 very true friend, it just seemed like the heroes who did have that mentality of being all powerful just let it go to their heads, maybe if they did it every so often it would have been acceptable but to always use it for personal gain was more than enough reason for them to basically Order 66 the guild. Ayyyy Star Wars reference for the win 😂
@@mariolemus12 Yea that's true. The heros definitely let the power go to their heads. I get your point there like they abused their power and it came back to bite them. Non heros could've handled it better but the heros could've been more heroic too. I don't know if they deserved it but I get why it happened. They were practically bandits at that point and the non heros grew tired of it. Lol yea pretty accurate reference for the situation too
In scenario 2 I honestly disagree with heroic bloodline weakening over the generations. I feel like if the Guild would not fall and a percentage of people with will power potential remained, then the will amongst the people would remain stable. Besides that pretty cool theories!
Hey brother sorry I haven't been commenting on your videos like I normally do shits been real busy with the holidays and everything but just wanted to remind you're doing a great job And I'm really enjoying these Alternate history sort of is sort of "what if" Style videos. Back when we were discussing new video types for you to do I hadn't even considered that but it's a brilliant idea that I very much enjoy so keep up the good work my friend and I hope you have a merry Christmas :)
Said it in the Shadow Court video, saying it now. Oakvale deserved what it got. If the Heroes were still around (Maybe even the Hero of Oakvale) when Reaver made his deal A group of Powerful Heroes or maybe even just one could wipe out the Shadow Court in a morning. Personally I think that both scenarios could work at the same time (With slight tweaks). The attack on the guild fails. The Heroes, Good and Evil, reign over Albion with Iron Fists. However at the same time they are building the towns, expanding the world. But at the whisper of a rebellion shit gets locked down. There are public beatings, humiliations, and executions of said whisperers (and anyone else that pissed off am Evil Hero that day). Love the fact that the video in Closing Thoughts you were 100% Evil yet wearing Bright Chainmail.
We always seem to mostly agree on our views. I like that. Also I like to add little things in the closing thoughts/ general videos to see if people notice them :P
@@Skyrionn I have noticed that with your Closing Thoughts but this one made me LLOL (Literally Laugh Out Loud). Because in my last Fable Anniversary Playthrough I was 100% Evil but running around in Bright Plate Mail.
Now that I think about it in Fable 2 Lucien used some old kingdom spire technology to create beings like the commandant with heroic abilities. I don’t know if that power transferred into their dna and bloodline but technology could be used to create a new generation of heroes although it seems like old kingdom technology and the spire have been kinda forgotten about during fable 3.
Samarkand? Whisper goes back home to the South Islands if you don't kill her in the Arena (She tells you she is leaving Albion, The Snowspire Oracle tells you she went back to the South Islands, in the Oakvale Tavern).
Reaver doesn't kill him. Barnum is playing dead. Seriously. Next time you play Fable II after he shoots him, shoot him yourself, he screams in pain and dies.
What if William blacks situation is like that of the avatar. No one has been born with spontaneous powers because William is technically still alive. (Probably dumb, it just hit me and I had to put it out there)

While they do bring in less views, I'm still passionate about the series :) I'm hoping so! 2022 could be our year

I don't now if eugenics would work in a fantasy setting . . . though I guess the nobility practices it, and they do exist in the Fable universe.
Why would the heros powers dilute over generations?
Honestly love your videos so much dude you are amazing keep it up 👍
Thanks! Will do!
Could you do a theory on what if Lucien got his wish and how that would effect fable 3
I'll add it to the list :)
Honestly I think even if Lucifer got what he wanted there will still be someone just stand up against him

I was going to ask what if some of the heroes survived but then asked where the hell they would be if so
In the pub playing card games for high scores in fable 2
