If i recall from way back when i played this, you could actually get a whole bunch of Rogue (yellow) XPs in the tutorial. When you're supposed to hit your tutor with a weapon, just stand far away and keep hitting him with a bow. Eventually he'll get tired of it, but you'll have gathered so much yellow XPs (which make you taller for some reason) that your character model becomes too tall for the orphanage cutscenes, making it look like you're some creepy adult stalking the kids there. Good times.

While on the other hand, little rascals who sacrifice others to the dark gods never promise to NOT sacrifice them, so their slight is only surface level. The victim should have explicitly had a non sacrificial declaration submitted to the local government if they were so against it in the first place.
My favorite scheme I ever did in this game was buying alcohol, using the give command to give it to a shop owner who would then immediately drink it, do this enough and they'd become drunk, then through the use of carefully running into them you could push them out of the shop and they'd stumble around town drunk while I stole all their shops items.
I remember that when I punched my wife in the game, she got mad and refused to talk to me. After I used the "sorry" emote 100 times and showered her with gifts everything went back to normal. I was so impressed.

Particularly crafty heroes will save all of their exp potions for when they've married Lady Grey and can then use their new wife (who if I recall correctly is immortal, if not you can heal her as you go) to get their combat multiplier even higher until consuming the exp potions for truly stupid amounts of exp and it's still only slightly less evil than a divorce which may follow.
"As your fists might unintentionally kill your wife, use heal between beatings to keep her healthy and to get rid of any bruising that might be used as evidence against you in a court of law." - That is priceless. I could listen to you review a potato for an hour lol

Ah, yes, Fable's economy... Still remember discovering my own, personal "Silk Road" that you can employ at the beginning of the game, the first time you reach Bowerstone, and all you need is like, I think 13 gold? Step 1. Buy a pack chocolates from the vendor right next to the city gate. Step 2. Walk literally 10 meters to an inn and sell the chocolates to the innkeeper for more than 13 gold. Step 3. Repeat until you can afford the "buy everything, and resell to the same vendor" exploit mentioned by Sseth.
KubinWielki You only need to buy every item of one type to resale it by the time you get to bowerstone sell the iron sword and buy all the apples from the man at the gate the buy and sale until you afford all of the chocolates and do the same. The way the games merchants work is that the more of an item they have the less they sale it for but the less they have the more they buy it for. So if you sell stacks of 100 or ridiculously high numbers you will always earn back your money and more

At the time it didn't occur to me to simply sell the stuff I was using to be able to buy the vendor's stock out. Instead, I worked my way up to that point with chocolate runs to the inn. In Bowerstone, behind the inn, I think, there's a beggar shack that's normally occupied, but if you buy a house and rent it out, the shack suddenly becomes unclaimed (you rent to that particular beggar, I assume ;D) so you can sleep in it, effectively still having home, but gaining money periodically.

Yes, I remember how being evil in this game paid ludicrously well. I'd lead dozens of people into monster infested regions, wait for nature to take its course, and then buy their property. Your morality never goes down. Alternatively, lead about a dozen people to the temple of Skorm while you've got good morality, sacrifice them all and gain a huge negative karma rating *and the best bow in the game that can only be obtained here.*

He omits the cheesiest spell in game: Physical Shield. It makes damage have to burn through your mana before it can touch your health. Now, Fable has XP multiplier for killstreaks without taking *Health* damage. 50x is easy to hit, 100x is possible. The multiplier applies to XP potions and food.
Don't worry about the spousal abuse. The Albion guards, in true British police fashion, will simply give your household a blunt knife. Truly, they are masters at problem solving.

Okay, I just replayed the Fable Anniversary because I genuinely have always loved the game but I noticed how Whisper was absolutely USELESS and how rude her brother was 🥴 like as long as I could get the monsters to focus on Whisper in the Arena I could just pluck them away. I never pegged Lady Grey as racist, just entirely disloyal and lusting only after the most power. I'm surprised that you didn't mention the game's highly memorable soundtrack. I think that it gives the player a sense of the world of Albion as much as its art style or story.
Magic system in this game was damb ridiculous. Enflame + mana shield = no damage run the entire game. Unblockable Multi strike, Summon that granted free magic exp, slow time by 75% and chain lightning that could stun infinitely. I remember selling every ressurection vial in the game just for money.
Best "secret" is just rush guile to lvl 3-4, teleport to bowerstone and sell/buy every single potion the guy has over and over don't even have to leave screen so time stands still. More potions you have the more profit from doing literally nothing. Infinite gold to buy every weapon armor item in the game and switch to whatever you like at the moment. Even do this before completing wasp queen by going to great wood and killing the bandits over and over for the exp and potion drops. Breaks the game completely. If you really want can also go get skorms bow strongest in the game within beginning of game by hiring the mercenary in bowerstone pub and zooming thru the zones to temple of skorm, save game, then proceed to sacrifice the Merc at different point of the day clock till you find sweet spot for your allignment by just reloading your save till you get it. Works best on day 7 in game days from what I here but have never had problems just takes a bit of patience. Oh, and get a guide for silver keys and get them all and save 25 (believe only 27 in game total). Near end of game can get archons armor out of chest which is insane. Lastly, strongest sword in game isn't the stone sword or aeons, it's actually purchasable for 75k in bowerstone north soon as you finish arena. With guile trick that's nothing.

Sad that we never got a lost chapters for 2, we never dealt with finding your sister and scythe, killing hammer and reaver, adventuring with garth across the sea, dealing with theresa and the tower and what she plans on doing with it(her original inflection when she gains the tower is evil), actually founding our kingdom. Fable 2 is the most incomplete good game.
Fable is still one of the only games I've played where you could take a quest to save a village and a quest to attack that same village simultaneously. 10/10 chaotic neutral experience
Peter Molyneux gets far too much credit for Fable. He was the neglectful stepfather who's name was attached for PR purposes so Microsoft could make more money. Dene Carter, Simon Carter, and Ian Lovett are the primary minds behind the franchise, as well as the rest of the folks from Big Blue Box (originally a Lionhead satellite studio). All Peter did for the series was introduce dogs who made you dig up pocket change in Fable II and violations of personal space in Fable III. Peter didn't even want to be involved in Fable as time went on; he was much more involved in his creepy Kinect project involving, er, forming a loving bond with a little boy. tl;dr Fable isn't Molyneux's game and the series would have done much better without his blabbering that led the project into an 18 month crunch period. He can claim Fable The Journey and onwards, but that's an insult at best.

Ah, yes, Fable's economy... Still remember discovering my own, personal "Silk Road" that you can employ at the beginning of the game, the first time you reach Bowerstone, and all you need is like, I think 13 gold?
Step 1. Buy a pack chocolates from the vendor right next to the city gate.
Step 2. Walk literally 10 meters to an inn and sell the chocolates to the innkeeper for more than 13 gold.
Step 3. Repeat until you can afford the "buy everything, and resell to the same vendor" exploit mentioned by Sseth.

You only need to buy every item of one type to resale it by the time you get to bowerstone sell the iron sword and buy all the apples from the man at the gate the buy and sale until you afford all of the chocolates and do the same.
The way the games merchants work is that the more of an item they have the less they sale it for but the less they have the more they buy it for. So if you sell stacks of 100 or ridiculously high numbers you will always earn back your money and more

At the time it didn't occur to me to simply sell the stuff I was using to be able to buy the vendor's stock out. Instead, I worked my way up to that point with chocolate runs to the inn. In Bowerstone, behind the inn, I think, there's a beggar shack that's normally occupied, but if you buy a house and rent it out, the shack suddenly becomes unclaimed (you rent to that particular beggar, I assume ;D) so you can sleep in it, effectively still having home, but gaining money periodically.
You didn't even need to walk to the inn, you could just buy supplies and immediately sell them back to the same guy for profit

Now, Fable has XP multiplier for killstreaks without taking *Health* damage. 50x is easy to hit, 100x is possible.

Lost Chapters is less good in one way though, they nerfed the Sword of Aeons and added an equally powerful sword you can get later, making the entire point of the original kinda irrelevant.

As long as you have mana potions, the game literally bends over.
Magic system in this game was damb ridiculous. Enflame + mana shield = no damage run the entire game. Unblockable Multi strike, Summon that granted free magic exp, slow time by 75% and chain lightning that could stun infinitely. I remember selling every ressurection vial in the game just for money.
Best "secret" is just rush guile to lvl 3-4, teleport to bowerstone and sell/buy every single potion the guy has over and over don't even have to leave screen so time stands still. More potions you have the more profit from doing literally nothing. Infinite gold to buy every weapon armor item in the game and switch to whatever you like at the moment. Even do this before completing wasp queen by going to great wood and killing the bandits over and over for the exp and potion drops. Breaks the game completely. If you really want can also go get skorms bow strongest in the game within beginning of game by hiring the mercenary in bowerstone pub and zooming thru the zones to temple of skorm, save game, then proceed to sacrifice the Merc at different point of the day clock till you find sweet spot for your allignment by just reloading your save till you get it. Works best on day 7 in game days from what I here but have never had problems just takes a bit of patience. Oh, and get a guide for silver keys and get them all and save 25 (believe only 27 in game total). Near end of game can get archons armor out of chest which is insane. Lastly, strongest sword in game isn't the stone sword or aeons, it's actually purchasable for 75k in bowerstone north soon as you finish arena. With guile trick that's nothing.

Peter Molyneux gets far too much credit for Fable. He was the neglectful stepfather who's name was attached for PR purposes so Microsoft could make more money. Dene Carter, Simon Carter, and Ian Lovett are the primary minds behind the franchise, as well as the rest of the folks from Big Blue Box (originally a Lionhead satellite studio). All Peter did for the series was introduce dogs who made you dig up pocket change in Fable II and violations of personal space in Fable III. Peter didn't even want to be involved in Fable as time went on; he was much more involved in his creepy Kinect project involving, er, forming a loving bond with a little boy.
tl;dr Fable isn't Molyneux's game and the series would have done much better without his blabbering that led the project into an 18 month crunch period. He can claim Fable The Journey and onwards, but that's an insult at best.
