WHAT IS UP SWEATY QUEEN!!!! Today is a 7 MINUTE HOURGLASS ABS PILATES SCULPT! This workout is free of equipment but you always have the option to add on some ankle weights. :)

Awesome workout for abs but not for hourglass! Your obliques make you wider so yes keeping them in maintenance is great but they are not meant for hourglass shape! Love the workout though it was awesome!

You are sort of right. However it depends on other factors:
Your body type. Some people are just built boxy.
Your muscle mass. If you gain enough of it, every body part grows. Big stomach, boxy look.
Your body fat. If its too high the areas your body stores it (this is different from person to person) will always look bigger. Combines with muscle mass.
So to get the hour glass slim stomach area you mainly need to be thin. That is 70% of it.
The best workout for hourglass would be fat burning low intensity running/walking, spinning + butt muscle exercise + have big boobs from genes.
