Its called version control. These files are kept/stored in repositorys for example gitLab or equivalent and only the company has access to it.

Incredible, thanks! A COD set in Rome would have been weird, but extremely fun. It could have been a game like “Chivalry - Medieval Warfare” which was an indie that did fantastic.
My brother told me about the roman one when he used to be into cod. it would be a really weird game, because of how fast-paced cod is. you cant just quad-feed people with swords and shit(i dont think)

Imagine some of the roman score streaks: a barrage of flame arrows from a nearby bow squad, A catapult or trebuchet precision strike apon the map, npc's on horseback (replacing dogs). Ravens that fly roughly above an enemy's location potentially alerting you of a nearby player

CoD: iron wolf was one I heard about long time ago. It was during the blops one era, and everything that had been leaked at that time, that cod sounded so good to be honest. I still wish it was made sometimes

COD: Infinite Warfare was so forgettable. Given the choice between Infinite Warfare and Ghosts, I'll take Ghosts, bromance and all.
Hidden and Dangerous was a fun 3rd person action/strategy army game where you command a team of soldiers. Quite fun.
