treyarch should make a map pack DLC called "Zombies: the lost files" which is either a select few or all of the unused Maps for Zombies so we could see what they where meant to be.
Or just make a zombies game 🤷🏼♂️ Which includes the old Aether story, the new Dark Aether story, and because it's soley a zombies game, they could add unused old/new things. We could have 3 different menus: Aether Story, Dark Aether Story, then has you said something for unused maps or something, Lost Files, which then could be used to link some story stuff or even used to create a new storyline.
They should just release an entire zombies game that has the complete entact storyline where you can play all the way through it and either have the unused map as bonus playable material or dlc content.
It could have a rad meter and you have to go into decontamination areas to remove progress Or it could have a rad suit that you need to wear and get repaired if your hit too much or you start taking damage over time

I’ve always wanted this and it’d be so cool as a DLC 1, some sort of Tundra Map out in the open. This could have abandon houses you come across and could have a creepy feel. Say if there was rituals and sometimes you could see demons around the map staring at you. Even a day and night cycle would be so cool, especially if the demons came out at night and you could just see them from afar staring. The wonder weapon (WIP Name: Blizzard) (which could be upgraded) maybe could be strong against certain enemies. Imagine if the special round was demons and the wonder weapon is more powerful against them. Maybe as you unlock new areas of the map and new rituals, creepier demons could spawn in. There could be so many cool ideas with a Horror-like Snowy Tundra Map.
The next zombie map should be in Austria! Since it would perfectly fit to this whole project... And the last Austria zombies map was der eisendrache which is considered for many as the best zombie map... So why not take another shot with an Austrian map?

As someone who has always been interested in nuclear power, I would love a zombie map to take place either at the Trinity Test site in Nevada or at the Tsar Bomba test site at Novaya Zemlya in the Artic Circle. In both cases, the end to the easter egg could be the governments(U.S for Trinity and USSR for Tsar Bomba) to set of the nuclear explosion as a cover for trying to either bury a secret zombie testing facility or to destroy a zombie boss that gets out of control.

Maybe Atlantis. Like a under water base and you can put on a suit to go into the sea. Then shoot at mermen and mermaids that have been turned into zombies. Because of experiments at a under water facility next to the crumbling ruins of Atlantis. Some story to add is that group 935 found Atlantis but destroyed it while trying to capture the mermen and mermaids to do experiments on them. Maybe Atlantis is under a dome under the ocean. But you might need a suit to travel to another part of the map and you shoot at mythical sea animals that swim around Atlantis and attack you if when you go in to the water parts of the map with you under water suit.
A Vietnam map. A four layered map with a starting area in jungle ruins that descends into Vietcong rat tunnels, and from those tunnels into a secret Soviet base that's releasing monsters from the dark ether. The portal to which can only be closed by going on the other side.
I remember right after dlc 3 in WaW lots of rumours were about an Area 51 map featuring a harpoon gun wonder weapon. Cool how it sort of came true with Moon. Yes I'm old enough to remember the hype for upcoming waw dlc maps :)))
In Cold War they should make a map which takes place in a mall an hour after a dimensional breech occurred, so it would be completely evacuated and still lit up with music and everything and they dark aether version of the mall could be something crazy like a safe house for all the zombies. Some great map ideas (my opinion) -Rust from MW2 with an added bunker -Bank filled with Gold where you can find small pockets of points in deposit boxes -A desert with an oasis and a hidden bunker with a morphing sand boss -Corrupted volcano where the lava turns purple in the dark aether and a pheonix boss -Plane mini-map -The Arctic with polar bears instead of dogs

Or on the timeline of Richtofen, a map that continues Victis, where and how did Victis end up in cryo stasis pods, a map that continues from buried.
