As a buyer I feel buying live auctions is a waist of time. I was very excited at beginning but after a few weeks realized I just getting really bored. If I need something I won’t rather search, compare prices and send offer. Plus I don’t want to hear endless personal stories
Hopped on for about 30 minutes during my lunch break. Nikki does a great job. Y’all had great pieces for amazing prices. Don’t understand how you can make money with $1-4$ sold prices! It was my first WhatNot show. Would be great as a buyer (for personal use or for sourcing), but don’t see it working for my business model.
She does do a great job! It definitely takes some time to build up a higher asp, which is what I'll be working on over the next few months. The plus size show in particular tends to be my least profitable show. We may do away with that one. The other shows we do have a higher asp.
@@cayleyelaine interesting! It just seems that with a start price of $1 and only 10 seconds for bidding, it’s hard to get higher. I will definitely suspend judgement until I watch more shows. Thank you!

Well Well Well..and YES!!!!!!..I was in the top 100 of online LIVE sellers back in 2017 when it became a phenomenon to do!!! With that brand that now doesn't sell well? I sold thousands of items! I was doing your 30K a month selling LIVE!!! Looks like my future is going to change! OMG OMG OMG I'm a NATURAL in front of a camera!!!! I can't wait to see this journey!!!!!!!!!!!!! @@cayleyelaine I am joining your resellers group very soon. Hope we can have a chat over there. You have the personality for live and are going to kill it on whatnot!!! I have never looked at whatnot and had no idea they did lives. Not impressed with eBay or Poshmark lives...Had no interest in trying them based on lives I have seen. I'm going to check things out over there and I will be on your live for sure! I use to be live 5 days/nights a week sometimes 6 hours straight! It was a crazy FUN exciting time and I'm forever grateful I was in the right place at the right time. (I was a one man show and did it all! My husband took the shipping to the post office is the only help I had. But I was on such a high it was just so fun!) I would come out of the room after a live and say "2400"! It was crazy! I was actually in my 3rd year of selling on eBay when the opportunity fell in my lap to do lives with a clothing brand and was shocked by my immediate success. Who knew? Not me!!! I'm not going to get too excited but I am excited for you to figure it all out for us :) You're amazing at doing that. Thank you for all you do!
@@cayleyelaine ah yes I did see this but the accountant in me still doesn't get it. I will watch Saturday if I can, to see how things are moving along as far as pricing. I would have no issues with live selling but I can't make money unless the price is up some. I get the sheer volume thing. I sold in volume live but it was at retail pricing. Still watching ;) Thank you
I tried Whatnot for about 6 months… didn’t have much Success… may regroup and try again tho 🤷♀️
Whew! I'm trying to get up my nerves to schedule a show. I tried once and had technical issues with my wifi. Hubby got some wifi extenders for me but I'm still trying to get up my nerves. My biggest concern is talking to the camera with silent chat. I will definitely check yours out. I'm learning from you and love your videos!
I'm pretty sure my wifi has screwed up at least once per whatnot show. Lol. Maybe I should try the extenders too. Silent chat is definitely awkward. I usually line up some questions in my head beforehand that I can ask if I feel like it's going silent. It helps to go in prepared!

Thank you, im feeling intimidated , i wanto get confident about selling live. Im a shy person , im also nervouse anout weird people mean people contacting me.
There are definitely some jerks out there but like anything else, majority of people are nice.
I’m not comfortable at all talking in front of the camera so I’m a little sad that this trend of live selling shows is getting more popular… 😔
Awe, I hear you. It's definitely something you can grow into or some sellers are finding unique ways to do live shows without have to show too much of their face on camera.
Ugh I hate watching live selling . Hate it ! Lol i think it’s fun to be the live seller but I just don’t get how it’s so popular 🤷🏼♀️
I think it's because it combines 2 addictions, social and shopping lol
