FINS ! Great job on what looks to be a pretty rough kit. It's always satisfying to finish off a build that's been lingering for a long time. I liked the switch to the hot pink too.
Thank you! This was lurking on the shelf for quite a while. I'm glad that it's finally finished. The two other shades of pink just didn't look right to me. I saw that hot pink, and I knew instantly that it was the color that I was looking for.
Thank you! It was a little fussy, but after some test fitting, sanding, and a little swearing, it went together. I'm actually pleased with the final result. Thanks for watching!
Nice job on a very old, very basic Revell (originally) tool. I bought one years ago when Revell did the initial reissue, molded in black. Opened it, took a look, realized it was a direct re-issue from the old tool with lots of flash. Closed it back up, it went into the trade/sell group.
It appears that Atlantis makes its money from producing very old kits in the very original style from yesteryear. I applaud their efforts but would like to see some updated kits. I visited a hobby shop in Holland, Michigan, a few days ago, and they had a couple of these kits on the shelf for sale.
Great tip on the transparent red paint for the hubcaps.
You're very welcome! I think that it looks better than the decals would have.
Nice job on the '57 ... Would love to have one of those in real life. 🙂
Thanks! It is a beautiful car. I wouldn't mind having one myself
Nice looking build, thanks for sharing.
Thank you! It was definitely different than most. Thanks for watching.

Really cool video and build. I think the change of paint really made a difference in how this came out. Nice!!
Thank you! It really did look better this way than the two other pink shades that I tried. It certainly is different than most kits out there.
Seems like it was a real fussy kit, but you made it look real good!
