Yes. At least three other modelers have mentioned that they either are doing something they saw Uncle doing or are trying not to do something they saw him do in just the last week.
Gotta say that one thing I really like about him is his willingness to not just step but leap out of his comfort zone. Here he is doing figures like he’s been doing it his whole life, building things that aren’t tanks, and building dioramas. Yes Uncle, some of us remember when you said you’d never build a diorama.

So true. How many figures and tanks do you think there are out there done copying NightShift techniques? I bet it's a lot. Lol

Dear Uncle. Now everyone sees why you changed your style of releasing videos. Its a VERY long video, but VERY GOOD as well. It soothing, detailed and - most importantly - i never felt you would rush through the topic. And thats what you did back in the day when we had weekly videos. So, dear Martin, thank you. Great video (amazing build too!) and a very own unique style too.

That blue-green color on the door looks like Haint blue, which was used in the American south to ward off ghosts. On one hand it's ironic that the pop of color meant to make it look less like a horror movie actually made me think more about ghosts, but on the other hand, if the haint blue was effective then the mill isn't haunted, so mission accomplished.

This model diorama building channel is by far one of the best here on UA-cam in my humble opinion. As someone who has been doing this type of work for over forty years I’ve seen everything under the sun in terms of techniques and trends . Products good or bad come and go. Model kits horribly produced or perfectly made are everywhere. True talent and most importantly someone who genuinely enjoys what they are doing always catches my eye. Story telling and fun are paramount in diorama creation. You my friend are excelling in those areas. May your imagination and joy never end…

Lovely work! I'm a huge fan of mills, both water and wind. Years ago, I had a cardboard cut and assemble windmill that was designed to work. Instead of cutting it out, I used it as a template and reproduced it in wood. All the timbers were mortised together, the wind vanes were scarfed and bolted together just like a real windmill. I covered the roof with hand split cedar shingles. If I'd been able to make or get actual stone grindstones, it would have ground. Alas, I couldn't, so I made do with 3" circles of oak cut on a hole saw. The same artist who did the windmill also did a watermill. One of these days . . .
    Really great work sir!

Fantastic! I love the way you put foam inside the building! And if you want to use Oil Washes on foam Buildings, you can! Seal them with Acrylic Medium, Flat or Gloss! There's no pigment so it Seals Better and doesn't obscure detail. Just make sure it penetrates Every Crack and Crevasse!!! I usually airbrush it, but sometimes use a Brush, especially with Brick. So far I've done about 20 buildings with No Melting!!! And nazca247 is right, you are known to everyone! An Inspiration!!!
