Welcome. I am getting back into modeling after a long hiatus. I like to see videos on tips and techniques. Also enjoy seeing models in general. You did a good job on your first video.
Glad to see your new channel., David. Many will appreciate your modeling commentary from your years of experience and contribution to the hobby. I am always entralled by your creativity, weathering technique, painting, dioramas. I have loved seeing your builds in person at Northern Utah modeling events: - IPMS Salt Lake Model Expo & Contest - GSL International Scale Vehicle Championship & Convention - Wasatch Wheels Model Car Contest - AutoRama Salt Lake - UVU Auto Expo - Kulture Krash Car Show - Scale Model Car Exhibition
@ it really is a terrific community David. Welcoming, supporting. Just a bunch of great people. I’m just a little channel myself but I’ll still do a shoutout to you and hopefully a couple more people may be able to find you!!
Welcome to the community David. Enjoyed hearing about you. Sounds like a Good plan for the 61. The beading wire should work. I like using solder. Cool looking 40. I'll be watching
Thanks. I've used solder in the past, my problem with it is glue just doesn't stick to it well, I'm hoping the wire works better, also the wire is harder so it does get marked up as easily.
Very nice video Dave. I especially liked the mock up picture and your 40 Ford stake bed side-views much better than the pictures from the top. I can’t wait to see that 61 Ford street freak! Keep up the good work!
Great lookin truck, and that street freak should look awesome, keep up the great work sir, and welcome to the UA-cam Video Club. Now it's time for me to go do some more recording, Until next time my friend.💯
@DKScaleAutoWorkshop Thank you very much sir, and yes it is a great community and there are a lot of great builders, you ever need anything or want to know something, there are lots of us to ask, we are always here
Glad to have you on board. I know the feeling of launching a channel. My channel is only about 2 months old. I share my current builds and some old ones on occasion. I don't build on my channel for the same reason you stated. As I said before welcome to the community David. Best of luck with your channel.
Welcome to UA-cam David. There’s a great scale modeling community here and you fit in perfectly! I love your first video and I’m looking to seeing more. Keep on modeling! 🙌🏼
Welcome to UA-cam. There are some great modelers on here, and they are willing to share their wealth of knowledge. I have a 'kinship' with Salt Lake City as my late wife and I were married there. That 61 Ford is a fabulous kit. I need to look at my kit that I have in my stash. Years ago, I built it as a 4 door sedan, and discovered that the kit used the interior from the 60 Galaxie 4 door hardtop promo. You have some fun projects, and I'll be watching. I did give you a sub.
Nice looking workshop David! I can't wait to see what you have and your future builds! I like the direction you are going on the 61'! Your hotrod farm truck is sweet! 🧑🎄🎄😎👍
Thanks for the feedback. Sound is difficult though because everybody has different settings on their devices and devices are just different, just makes sense for me to adjust according to how it sounds on my computer and let everyone adjust their own volume according to how it sounds on their device, or is there some trick I'm not aware of?
Welcome aboard,, nice hobby area,, excellent show, I'll be watching,, later Glen
Thanks Glen, I'll be watching your channel as well.

Welcome to the UA-cam community!! I've got ya subbed!!
Thanks for the sub and stopping by!
Welcome to the modeling family. Great looking farmer truck. Here's a trick that I use. To make headers I use thick solder. It is easy to bend.
Thanks Frank. What do you use to glue them though? I've used solder before but get frustrated because no quick setting glue sticks to it well.
