This is my favorite TLC4x4 restoration youve done. The paint, the wheels, and the overall "slim" and minimal look are right up my alley.
Jack Carr’s ride👍🏻🇺🇸
Sure is 🇺🇸
Everytime I listen to this guy talk about his companies builds I'm in awe. Truly a master of his craft. Would be a dream to own one of these builds one day.
As a car designer at a large OEM, your vehicles and overall aesthetic are an inspiration man. Hope you keep pushing the envelope! Awesome that Rogen had you back on again...great podcast. Wishing your wife a speedy recovery as well!
Those wheels are awesome. No affiliation but, the guys at Augment Wheel Company I believe, can recreate almost any wheel you can imagine.
Had a 90 FJ62 with 252,000 miles on it...a rare New Mexico owned, extremely well preserved LC. Wish I could afford anything by Jonathan or TLC..What a great build!
What a gorgeous sleeper. Jack would be very happy indeed.
Here is a man who had a vision and made it a reality. That is one of the huge wins in life.
This is Jack Carr's FJ62 and now immortalized in The Terminal List. Amazing restoration!
Superb 60 series compliment with Yr round glasses 👓 and vintage style jacket 👍
everything perfect, including camera work and drone shots. thank you.
Just Realized this is Jack Carr's new rig! Beautiful Truck!
It's insane how quiet it is zooming by at 4:35
I ❤️ TLC , it’s all in the detail
I recognise that cruiser. Good job guys wish i could find somebody to give that kind of love to my 60 here in Aus.
Absolutely gorgeous. I will buy one of your vehicles someday.
Absolutely amazing! Gorgeous Restoration!!! One day I’m going to restore one like this. I’m buying a 1994 FJ80 next week and going to start restoring it.
I stumbled my way over here after watching you on the Rogan show. That TLC is tuff!!! I would give anything to have a vehicle done by you.
I'm seriously just drooling while watching these videos.
Would be so cool to own a TLC or a Derelict. Love what you're doing!
What a beautiful, Imaculate car and fabulous restoration !!!
The Leged Jonathan Ward, the Master of Classical Car Restoration, when a Legendary Car meets a Legendry Man...A WORK OF ART, from the hands of an Master Artist 🚙💕💕👍👍
Always like a sleeper look in your creation
I wish I could afford to have this done to my FJ62... just beautiful.
Galen Anderson just be grateful to even have a land cruiser. I have a 05 Ford Escape but I love her. 31mpg!!
Amazing execution. Wish auto manufacturers would think to build vehicles in this direction.
One day, I'll own these. So beautiful
These videos never get old. Keep it up, y’all!
Given that your trucks are clearly overbuilt to be used and abused, I think it would be so fun to see one of these videos where you and one of your favorite Icon owners drive around in one of your creations that's seen some action and had some miles put on it. See the personalization of the truck, see the owner talk about his or her relationship with it, stories, etc. I LOVE getting to watch these awesome videos right off the assembly line, but I think it would be so cool to see them with a little wear, maybe even a little patina!
Howdy Jonathan, Thanks for sharing the latest TLC resto, Its a beauty! I really dig the relatively subdued aesthetic. I also agree that it is a "Sleeper" especially with a 6.2L LS3. Here's looking to the next episode of your(and companies) geeking, Jerry
Awesome,loved your conversation with joe
The paint job is superb
My dream car! This looks so amazing, well done Sir 🙏
Those tyres look great on that beauty.
If I win the lotto tonight I am going to give my old RHD 1994 Hilux Surf the ICON treatment Baby!!!
Electronics. The GM E-Rod systems are way easier to plug and play. Besides, the 3UR-FE is Toyota's DOHC 4V version of the GM L31, I believe.
Good grief, beautiful work! You’re on my radar if a bunch of money drops in my lap!
Is this Jack Carr’s?!??!
I think so
Check out Last line of defense for a walk around with Jack that just went up.
I think it’s James Reece’s 😉
Man this is super slick as usual..
Extremely well done as always! Hope all is well.
Brilliant machine, i hope to build an 80 just like you guys do very soon.
Great craftsmanship!!!!
Really really nice restauration , dream car
Now this......is what I want. Wow. Total sleeper
That’s a sweet ride. Somebody will enjoy it.
Super cool sleeper , well done.
Dream truck!!! Nice job👍
amazing build. second to none
Each human being on this planet has a dream of big youtube channel, don't stop running until you catch that dream help me in this dream thank you
Yeah this ones my favorite too. Maybe someday I'll get a Fj60 as my second vehicle.
What an amazing machine 🔥🔥🔥
Nice work. Is this Jack Carr's FJ62?
Freaking Amazing !!!
Beautiful. Work of art.
You are truly gifted. The more I look at your work and the way you have commissioned your staff to perform the restorations, I realize there is a true reason for the price point. Would you all consider restoring/modifying a 1st Gen 4rnr?
Super cool car/guy. Thanks Icon/JW.
I don't understand why a Toyota 4.6L or 5.7L can't be placed in these.
0311 KV I think the frames are too narrow I could be wrong but that’s what I’ve herd here in Australia
They probably can if a client asks, but my guess is it's because the e-rod kit is the best combination of cost, performance, serviceability and availability. A complete new powertrain shows up in a crate (engine, electronics and transmission) and it's California emissions approved, and you can get one as easily as calling up JEGS.
Electronics. The GM E-Rod is much simpler.
masterpiece.
There's so much interest in this version that if Toyota were smart they'd reissue it as is, except add up to date technology.
That is simply badass
Jesus Christ... I need that land crusier... Damn mortgage payments!
The spirited man sent me here
I applied for a career at Icon.. went through 2 interviews and was told that if I made it to the 2nd interview I basically made it. Never got a call back. I've applied more afterwards many times and still wondering what went wrong. I have all the experience they where looking for.
Probably found a better fit, sorry to break it to ya.
Too bloody good!
Timeless and badass. Why would someone downvote this?
Leather chocolate brown. Looks gray ? Nice vehicle is understatement!
If I had the $$$ to buy anything I wanted it would be the FJ series Toyotas…….🎉🎉🎉
What you guys do to vehicles is my life dream, it is unfortunate that the price is only attainable for the wealthy.
So where is the land cruiser ?
Has Icon tried using a BMW straight 6 diesel engine, I heard its fuel effecient, and is indestructable. Would be nice if you could source one and fit it into one of your builds, would love to see a video of it.
Another great video Sir
I wish a business in Australia would do similar work…can’t find any
Amazing work
Good job
Great job as always keep it up !!!.
Looks like John Carrs truck. Running a Corvette LS3.
Always great videos and informative narration. Everything is always looking so good except I’m always a little disappointed in the leather stitching. Ie 6:16 of this video. I think that stitch looks like they were running out of time and just finished it off. Just me?
weird... just watched that, and that detail was noticeable. Maybe it was the camera angle/lens?
Wow! What a beauty
The Spirited Man brought me here
Спасибо, Сережа
Love this!
Should have put a 2uzfe 4.7l v8 in it
sexy car!!!! great listening
As soon as I hear "stage 3..." yup, I'm priced out.
Like new but way better I love it
Incredible
wow my favourite jeep
You are the best. You have my dream car 😢
Beautiful.
Looks identical to Jack Carrs Land Cruiser, almost like it is his.
Amazing !
My 1971 FJ 40 original soft top with drop tail gate was stolen Beware if you have one there are many without common decency I have found sympathetic Law men some in NM however I have little hope of recovery so be careful god Bless LM
Shes a beauty! Too bad its not a diesel though!
I just subscribed. JRE sent me here
👌👌👌👌👌
This is awesome....i want one.
My dad has a car like this, and I want to modify it, exactly like this, except the color of the exterior
This is sort of an old video so i am guessing no one will reply to my question, lets try anyway. I have always wondered on the turnaround and cost of this level of build, so i will put this at 12 to 14 months at around 180 k. How close did i get? Now this is an Icon and there is an exclusive upper level of attention higher than most other boutique builders so i will raise my estimate to 200 k
Will the FJ60/62 body fit on the 100 or even 200-series chassis?
I love this model of Toyota, but I can't get it here in Sudan. Because we are in bad situations and I have no money to get it, I hope someone send it to me as a gift. ♥️ it will be my pleasure 😍
Do you have pics from BEFORE ?
I want one !
Taking one of the most reliable Toyota V8 and putting in a Corvette engine? Damn! It’s just a weekend showpiece for rich folks now.
@@ICON4x4Design Thank you for you reply. You are obviously a very polite person and I don't mean to be disrespectful to you, your choice or be rude to you. Why do you say that my assumptions are not fair?
