We have 4 hosims. A couple of them got messed up in the hurricane. My husband has been wanting this one. I was gonna try and get it for him when we get done with the clean up and our place is fixxed. Love the videos ty😊
@RoadsideRC yeah where getting things back together. He likes building crawlers and upgrading bashers. I've tried to get him to do a UA-cam channel but he says he's to ugly for that and it's to complicated to figure it all out..lol witch is bull. His friends and a few other people have been helping him getting things back together and I think me getting him a big basher will be the icing on everything. The rc community is so awesome.
I do apologize for that. UA-cam has a stupid new feature where they automatically search the web and place links on videos. Guess what? 99% of the time the link is WRONG. I have attempted to turn it off multiple times, and yet it somehow keeps getting auto-turned back on.
I’d go as far as to say not even a 1/10 scale. More like a 1/11 I thought at first you were just a literal giant dude. But using the screwdrivers in the background for size reference you can tell it’s fairly small. Still a cool budget option if parts are easy to get. Thanks for the review! And is that the gear mesh off or is it the diffs screaming like that?
It is a solid 1:10, maybe even slightly large. But - of course scale is always hard to truly judge. The screaming you hear is the tires. They balloon and squeal and/or rub the body.
Scale comes from the original full size model you’re replicating so it comes down to what size truck they are replicating? Now in the RC world if you put 1/8 on the box it should be a fricn standard 1/8 lol Not a good marketing move imo 🤔 lol
@@EJ-74 ...and this truck has no 1:1 equivalent for them to scale down from. Which makes the scle difficult in RC. Every manufacturer calls things different. But - no doubt that setting this next to a 1:8 Arrma Kraton would be silly.
Scale is difficult - I do agree this is on the smaller side for claiming that scale. Still, it is a lot of fun. The kids in the neighborhood have been having a blast with it - and it has held up to all of their abuse.
It is certainly smaller than average. But also hard to really justify scale for a vehicle like this. Simply: what 1:1 vehicle is this supposed to be 1:8 of? There is nothing out there.
The truck is actually really fun and durable. I have been letting the neighborhood kids drive it - and they are having a lot of fun and it has taken all of the abuse! The center diff is just a spec from the factory on the fluid - putting some thicker fluid in there solves it real quick.
@mikescherrer4923 I've got a couple arrma kraton. I know how shit works I've seen alot of reviews on this truck before yours. They all say the same. You can also see in the videos
Nice review! I do think hosim has some good rc’s!
They really are better than most people give them credit for.

Awesome! I hope he will like it when you get it for him!

Man im glad to see this video! Mine is on the way!
Awesome! Hope you enjoy it!
Great review Troy. One thing though the link on the description shows a different truck 1:10 brushed unit.
I do apologize for that.

Great video, it took all the punishment great ,think it'll be one to last ,looks nice also!!!
Yes sir! Thank you - as always!
new sub. excellent review i might have to go for this
Thanks!
If you do - I hope you have fun with it!
Love how hard you drove it! Definitely worth the money. But I have the new Arrma Typhon pre ordered.
The Typhon is a much better choice in my opinion! One of the best RCs on the market!
New sub here as well! Great channel
Thank you!
Better than a Traxxas Jato.
It might be - and A LOT cheaper!
PURE JUNK ....Chinease crap

i agree very small and nothing is a 1/8th scale not wheels, electronics, chassis nothing... if this is 1/8th whats a 4s kraton 1/5th
good review looks the business your hard test didnt break it so all good
*🌞have a cool weekend🔆👍like☑full view✅🥸Au🦘*
That is the smallest 1/8 scale I’ve ever seen.
Yes - scale is tough to define cleanly...but this does seem like a large-ish 1:10.

I wouldn't even say that@@RoadsideRC
Its not a 8scale diffs have no oil in them ect

either your hands are ENORMOUS or this thing isnt exactly 8th scale..
Both!! :)
It is a small 1:8, no doubt. Certainly closer to a legit 1:10!
That thing is not a 1:8 scale lol

It's a pos. Basically front wheel drive due to a junk ass diff

@RoadsideRC can be a pos and still be fun
Tell me you don't understand how RC diffs work without telling me 😂

Never heard about diff fluid ey😂. My MT8 front tyres balloon like crazy, 500k fluid fixed the problem.
