Moved to Kerrville 1 yr. Ago. It’s very inconvenient, need a suit? A Best Buy? Maybe a speciality restaurant, 2nd level medical care? You’ll have an hour drive to San Antiono. It’s not walk friendly, no public transportation, need an airport ride? That’s $90.00. Hard to bicycle because it’s in Hill Country. We’ll be moving on soon. PS it’s expensive
Was part of KCAC back 2014 first annual plein art show..my medium was acrylic and produce larger painting than usual but the challenge to take part of the festival was awesome..I like to find estate cabin where I may pursue my artistic painting of the unique Hill country landscape..until then .. vayos con dios..amigo.. Oh it's South Texas twang.. peace.
There are a lot of drug addicts in Kerrville and Ingram. Also a lot of drunk driving. I avoid the roads as night. Check out the police blotter before you think of moving here. It was a surprise for me.
Found: Beer bottles, crack pipes, little square plastic bags, needles, a woman’s shirt, bra, little day after pill packages, etc. Harvey says that people come here for treatment and don’t leave. Sounds like a do nothing excuse. Trying to blame it on outsiders. Change would be good.
its only a military friendly place if you look like are over the age of of 65 or atleast look like it... the vfws in town are some of the most cliquish ive ever been to and most residents are rude and very entitled. and all the property in the area is extremely expensive for what they are 1/4 single mobile homes are selling above 200k.
You could have added the fact that Kerrville has a good medical facility as well. I like the fact that you keep the videos relatively short, no one really wants to wade through a 45 minute long video.
Not that anyone here really cares but... HEB has existed in at least 5 locations here in Kerrville not counting the old Albertsons. Call me out if I'm wrong. 1) The original (1st ever) HEB store on Water Street. 2) The old Hastings (now Entertainmart) building. 3) The old radio Shack area. 4) The location that was just recently torn down. 5) The new HEB of course.
Lol thanks for the heads up! A lot goes into editing these videos and sometimes I miss little things like that. Good point, I think I’ll create a video just for hunting!
Our "mall" is trash. If a shop opens up there, it'll shut down after a few months. No food court, no actual entertainment except a garbage arcade spot that is geared toward 6 year olds.
The name of the river you cited is not PER-DE-NALES. It’s PE-DER-NALES. The way it’s spelled is Pedernales. But I understand it’s a very common mispronunciation mistake.😊
@@ryanrendon-RealEstate I mean no offense, but after moving here I noticed it’s a common phenomenon among many. In fact, as a student of linguistics it’s a source of educational amusement to me. There are other place names where it happens too. For example, Llano is also mispronounced as LA-NO while the original Spanish pronunciation is YA-NO. This is also done in other parts of the US. In New York City there is a Houston Street, but they incorrectly pronounce it as HOUSE-TON (house). 😆 If I decide to sell my house, I’ll come see you.
I love Kerrville
Same here!
The River Hill mall is certainly special...
One of a kind! Lol
In that it is pretty much empty.
Llano Tx as well has beautiful property!! Llano River is beautiful!
I would have to agree! I have some great memories from there!
I got food Poisoning from 1011 bistro…, 🤢that was years ago., I haven’t been there sense then.
Oh no!! I hope that doesn't happened again!

Still a very small town realistically, not sure if or when we will have any of those things you mentioned.
Next time measure twice, cut once.😊
You hit the nail squarely on the head.

The Rivertrail is a great place to ride a bike, walk your dogs, or roller skate.
It sure is, a couple buddies and I go on runs all the time on the river trail!

What about Gibson's?
That would be great to add actually. Everyone loves Gibsons!
Is this a military friendly place?
Yessir, we have a very large veteran population in Kerrville. My dad, uncle and I actually make up for three of them!

That's a great point Matthew! I will update this video in the future and add that. Thank you for the feedback!
Great video. I am starting a new job in kerrville. I am excited for the outdoor life. I am looking for rental properties.
Awesome!! Give me a holler, would love to grab a cup of coffee or lunch with you. 830.890.1943

It's pretty awesome to say we had the original HEB! Great store!
There should be a sign -☢️ California toxic not welcome lol
11, don’t go to the hospital here! They will take all your money by charging you for anything and everything they can possibly think of!
You did spell weather wrong.
You didn't mention anything about the hunting industry

Sadly, our mall is not what it use to be... almost seems like most malls are headed in that direction with all the online shopping now a days.
Whether?... you mean Weather? Lol : D
Lol good catch!

Hahahah that’s right! I grew up properly pronouncing it… I’ll have to redo this video sometime and explain that 😂
