Hey Ryan! I enjoyed your video. My best friend lives in San Antonio (Ailey Knoll). I am 84 and a retired Navy veteran of 31 years. I have been look in at Kerrville for some time. I live in Japan with my wife. I anticipate moving to Kerrville within the next year and could use a good realtor! Jim
For me… it’s a book series i read 15 years ago about the government creating vampires out of death row inmates and 100 years later… bam kerrville is a non infected human refugee camp…. Super successful because of the geography

HOWEVER, the Affordability and NICE PPL???.. I can tell ya 1st hand..its not as PRO as Con since 2018.. i never saw so many changes in such a short time..for instance, the Great Reset crashed most of the quaint mom n pop's..they been priced out and Big Boxes have overbuilt to the point of no parking and greatly reduced driving space..Terrible city planning, imo..its def affected by Big Investor greed. Rent goes up 3xs a yr.. It's hard to find affordable renting or homebuying...Land has tripled and ppl are Irritable.. but locals are Happily cashing in, every 3 months..lol
Dude i came from the Houston area and its way better here… if you just really like to scroll the internet for things to complain about just say that… bro, we get it… sometimes talking trash makes you feel better about things you don't like about your personal life
You’re absolutely right. Kerrville has changed a lot in the past few years, and affordability has definitely become more of a challenge. It’s tough seeing the impact on small businesses and how growth has affected the community. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It’s something I hear from a lot of folks around here!

You’re blowing smoke friend. Health care may be quality but u forgot to mention EXPENSIVE. Higher level care you’re going to SA. Some Medicare “Advantage” plans (like my wife’s are not accepted) at Peterson. And since Kerrville is a retirement town, this matters. A one hr. drive for a senior to see his/her primary, in San Antonio, a congested big city is not doable. Seniors with expendable income, you have three choices for franchise restaurants Chilis Chilis or Chilis. Need an Apple Store? 1 + hours. Do you like to bicycle, remember it’s called hill country. Walking forget it. Yes the residents are friendly, but they aren’t as friendly as u say. Tomorrow I’m gonna ask someone for their shirt. If u r used to convince u won’t like it. Post Script there are deer everywhere, which means there are deer droppings everywhere, which means there are dead deer everywhere. The Guadalupe rio? Except for just above the dam, you can walk across it and not get your calfs wet.
