Accomplishments isn't a reflection of whether or not a man will be good husband material for you. Also you'd be surprised at how many men meet the parents these days and is still NOT serious about marriage.
I dont think its just about the accomplishment. But about whether he puts his money where is mouth is. Whether he actually walks the walk or only talks the talk. Basically does he come through on his words or will he flake on you

Your "achievement " does not gurantee a succesful marriage. If that was the case then educated people with high flying careers wouldnt be divorcing.
100%, character traits are much more long-lasting and life-enriching.
I think the intent for talking about achievement was showing that the person has a purposeful life..not that they have so many trophies to show off ...but that they utilise the gifts Allah gave them ...
