if you are in Oradea visit a guy called Mihai Neșu, he is an ex-famous football player for Steaua that now is crippled for life because of an injury but he pulled himself back from depression and is building a big complex for helping kids with neuro-motoric problems, it's almost finished, shedding life on his project will bring even more awareness and donations to his project and kids with these problems. From what I heard Mihai to play the guide on his project as he has a pretty good state of the art mobile chair!

Hi guys. We are from Oradea ( born and work there many years) for now we live in Cluj Napoca. Oradea is an Art Nouveau city and voted as one of most beautiful places in Europe when talking about Art Nouveau culture
Hello guys, I am actually from Oradea, I used to walk past the main street every day for 8 years. I love this city because of its beauty. It was actually kinda funny to see it on a video from a turist perspective. Thank you:))
Answering your question, yes, I love my birth town. I've been born and raised here and I live very very close to the city. I love having a coffee in the old city center, sitting or strolling down the river side. Thanks for visiting our city!

I live in Oradea and I still like architecture even that I saw it so many times. It's nice to see those buildings restored and beautiful. Have a nice trip and try Alba-Iulia, Sibiu and Brasov.
Go to Borsec, where there are many springs of mineral water, then follow the road next to Bicaz lake, then the Bicaz gorges. Possibly you can visit Neamtului Monastery and Neamtului Fortress.
you should stay several days in Sibiu...Alba Iulia, Bistrita, Vatra Dornei, Brasov, Drobeta Turnu Severin , Timisoara and a lot of other cities where you can spend time in Romania and you will like it
Trust me, the rroma palaces are a mistery for us as well, I've never been in one. I guess if you find the wiches they will let you in, but regular people not so much. In my own village in Oltenia there is an old rroma palace built in another style in Ceaușescu's era, my father said that they always built their houses big with tours. After the Revolution the rroma sold the palace to a romanian family and I've been into that old palace. I guess if you are interested you can go to one, I just know that for us they are very weird and we are kind of not interested. Also, they don't really build them to show to romanians how much wealth they have, but to show other rroma families,I don't think you will have one in the comments to confirm it though.
Hi guys. Welcome back to Romania! I recommend you a small tourist town with a unique salt lake: Sovata. You can take from there trip to Praid to the salt mine as well. Let me know if I can help you
Alba Iulia will blow your mind! I think from Alba Iulia you guys should go to Deva. You can visit the citadel there. The Corvin Castle you saw last year but then you can go to Simeria and visit the Arboretum. That's one of the biggest natural park in Europe with rare kind of trees and plants. If you still wanna spend more time in Hunedoara county, you can visit the Hateg zone and Brad and you can try yourself traditional specific food in the area (mici, cheese) and virşli from Brad (which is home made sheep sausages). You have plenty things to do and visit in Hunedoara county such as: Retezat,Parâng mountain areas, Sarmizegetusa (the old capita of Dacia), Bolii Cave, Bison Nature reserve and many many more..
Go to TRANSFAGARASAN before it closes for the winter. According to Top Gear and many other people, the most beautiful road on the world. It's a must visit in Romania. You will regret it if you miss it, much more now that you have a car! Watch the weather as it gets cold up there

I recommend you guys visiting the Danube's boilers near Serbia. It's so beautiful! And other places in Romania I would recommend is visiting small picturesque villages like Biertan, Rimetea and Fundata. You could also visit Curtea de Arges monastery, there's like a whole legend behind it. Also you could visit the Clay Castle in the Fairies Valley (Castelul de lut valea zânelor). And Caraiman monastery, it's also very picturesque.
Maramureş is one of the most interesting and authentic regions in Romenia, you will love it, altough you must check if it is safe now, due to it's proximity to Ukraine
Why would you even have to check, its a different country that is in NATO, if ANY bit of Maramures gets attacked it means it will be protected by the most powerful military alliance,. Its even safer than most western countries because of the culture.
Nearby Alba Iulia are two small hungarian villages, very well preserved( Rimetea and Colțeşti). Recomand you to eat something at Conacul Secuiesc în Colțești and visit the old fortress
The best place to see a preserved Citadel like in Oradea in Romania, is in Alba Iulia. And Alba Iulia si far enough from all airports that you can drone film it. Great video you guys !! I'm impressed. I was born and grew up in Oradea and am living in the UK now 🇬🇧. You are right, whilst living there we didn't pay much attention to the architecture, but now being more mature I appreciate and love our hometown. However, I never knew you could walk to the top of that church and see the city from the there, unless that's something new they've done. Great channel ❤ I enjoyed it. I like how chilled your wife wss about the bird poo 😅.
This video is from two years ago , you two should visit Oradea again , you would not recognize it ! Oradea transforms from one week to another ! Best time to visit Oradea is end of March - April and May ❤❤❤
Hey guys You could go an visit Piatra Neamt, Bicaz Dam, Bicaz Canyon, Izvorul Muntelui Lake and Ceahlau Mountain. The area is great for car traveling with beautiful sights. Now, about the romani people houses. You should go back to Cluj and find vlogger Mircea Bravo. He could help you. Have fun in Romania.
The color of the buildings is so "washed out" because when they are renovated, the new color must be as close as possible to the original one. So for some buildings, they intentionally bleached the color to be as close as possible to the original. And Oradea was designated the most beautiful Art Nouveau destination in Europe. This is where the style and color of the buildings comes from, something pretty unique in Europe. You can visit many historic buildings built in the Art Nouveau style, such as the Darvas house built between 1909 and 1912. The street where you ate is a more boujee one, full of caffes and lounges. If you wanted mici, you could find on the pedestrian street where you saw the bright blue building, many restaurants that serve traditional food there.
Next time You should make a cave round trip halfway between Oradea and Alba Iulia. Bears cave, Meziad cave, Cristals cave, Crisul cave, Scarisoara ice cave etc etc
We live here, guys, and it's been amazing watching your video about Oradea! Next time you're around give me a shout, let's do something together around the city! Enjoy your stay!

Very very on point with the observation that the gypsy s live in the smaller house on the property . Other than that, watching you is so relaxing and you are so positive and outgoing. Good job.
Do you want us to recommend places in Romania? You should visit Valea Prahova: - Peles Castle from Sinaia; - Cross of the Sphinx, Babel and Caraiman - go up with the cable car from Bușteni; - Cantacuzino Castle - Busteni; - Urlatoarea Waterfall - Busteni; - Casino Sinaia; - Sinaia Monastery; - Tamina Canyon and Waterfall - Upper Timis; - Canyon and Waterfall 7 steps - Timisul de Jos. You will have to spend at least 6 days: 2 Sinaia, 2 Busteni, 1 Timisul de Sus, 1 Timisul de Jos. You can reach Sinaia by train from Bucharest or Brasov.
Nice videos, keep up the good work! If I may suggest a region of Romania for you rotundtrip, that would be Bucovina (Suceava County) - to Transilvania by Borgo (Bargau) Pass Bistrița - Vatra Dornei
Awesome vids, guys! If your roadtrip takes you to Bucharest I would love to take you on an "off grid" tour of stuff that's not part of the "mainstream" things tourists usually see when here.
hello, if you are still in the country, you could go to Turda to visit the Turda salt pan or the Praid salt pan, but the most impressive in terms of depth in the ground is the one from Praid, you can only enter it by bus and it is 2 km deep just the entrance, the rest is wow, the Salina from Turda is about 200 meters high and has several areas to visit. As for the food, I adopted a lot of Turkish food because Romania is a Balkan country.
To answer your question, no, it never gets boring for me. I kinda always feel like a tourist walking around my city, Sibiu. And I've seen a fair number of cities around Europe. But I also see the beautiful and interesting side of what are considered much uglier towns, so no wonder I'm this enchanted with Sibiu. Plus the memories I associate with every part of it.
Try Ploiesti, it's a big city 60km away from Bucharest, It has a lot to offer, great history in terms of prosperity and tragedy. During WW2 it was one lof the most important and strongly defended city in Europe as it was providing 1/3 of the fuel for the Nazi war effort and that's just one thing about it. If you guys are interested in giving it a chance I can recommand you a great toured guide to help you better understand the city's history.
I didn't watch all your videos, but since you asked at the end of this video where in Romania to travel next, I recommend the Săpânța (read as Sahpintza) Cemetery în Maramureș, up north. Also, in the northern part of Romania, East side, there is a large area fully decorated with old beutiful monasteries which is a must for any traveler.

Each city has marks of the past, and you can learn a lot about the history, what happened, about psychology, how people thought and reacted, and so on. It is a lot to say. Hey, you guys are like Indiana Jones and Xena:)

In my opinion, Oradea really is underrated. I live here but I got used to it and I always felt like it's nothing really special, but in the past years the city got a bit more modernized. I'm glad that you liked it :)
Hi! Not all cities and towns in Romania have this style. But mostly those from Transylvania due to the Austrian influence. Also, Bucharest was partly destroyed by Ceaușescu and most historic buildings were destroyed to make space for the brutalist buildings.

Don't forget to visit Sarmizegetusa Regia.
This video is from two years ago , you two should visit Oradea again , you would not recognize it ! Oradea transforms from one week to another ! Best time to visit Oradea is end of March - April and May ❤❤❤
I recommend u to go in Timisoara, is a big city that is called “Little Vienna” its very beautiful and the architecture is stunning!
13:26 I live in Oradea, and I love the buildings, but eating on the patio between those buildings is a litte bit expensive for us 😅
The views are amazing all through the video 🫡👍🏾😎
Hello , thanks for showing us the beauty of our country, i live in France but im feel very sad that im not time to see much of our city!❤
In Romania, not sure if it applies for the world, we say pastel colours to all of these soft colours you mentioned in the video
Next time You should make a cave round trip halfway between Oradea and Alba Iulia. Bears cave, Meziad cave, Cristals cave, Crisul cave, Scarisoara ice cave etc etc
There’s a little village outside Oradea called Oshorhei. I grew up there and it’s beautiful.
Wonderful place 💚💚💚💚💚💚 I love green 💚
Nice vlog 🥰

@@LajosCsehOfficial Sa o crezi tu!! mars!
@@inapetrisor2874 if you are so strong romanian then tell me a romanian bone from there that was found or a prehistoric romanian building around you!☺️not incidentally. If you know history, you know when the Romanians infiltrated Transylvania, you also know that for 70 years only 4% Romanians lived in Nagyvárád, and who founded Nagyvárád!
the mogosoaia palace must be visited, it's gorgeous...even close to Bucharest
I`m amazed nobody suggested Transfagarasani, Transalpina...you should also do a road trip through Valea Oltului, it`s a beautiful road between mountains/next to the river, you won`t regret it. Moeciu de Sus, Also if you get to spend a day or two in Ferma Dacilor you will experience medieval way of preparing delicious natural food with wonderful, fun people, Cheile Bicazului, Vidraru Dam, Manastirea Cozia, Sinaia, in the winter go to Transalpina ski resort. In Bucharest there is a city tour with a lovely tour lady that shows you the best hidden places to eat good romanian food and listen to live bands in artsy cafe's + give you info about them, you can also visit Casa Poporului (actually go inside and take a tour).
I’m calling it, you guys are going to move to Romania someday 😂😂❤
hello, if you are still in the country, you could go to Turda to visit the Turda salt pan or the Praid salt pan, but the most impressive in terms of depth in the ground is the one from Praid, you can only enter it by bus and it is 2 km deep just the entrance, the rest is wow, the Salina from Turda is about 200 meters high and has several areas to visit.
Thanks you guys for visiting my special hometown!Hope we'll see you again next year
Try Ploiesti, it's a big city 60km away from Bucharest, It has a lot to offer, great history in terms of prosperity and tragedy.

Hey, you guys are like Indiana Jones and Xena:)
hi, I recommend you to visit Lake Tarnita, there are many hiking trails over there, and it's really a peaceful and quiet place, if you need to break free from the cities a bit.:)
Such a good vibe, Romania suits you, don't miss it
Hello guys, I ll recommend to visit Frasinei monastery ( only mens is allow),, Decebal statue on Danube river ,Romanian Sahara desert' , Calafat- Dabuleni area, Buzescu gypsy village in Teleorman county, Adamclisi, tatars villages in Constanta county, russian villages in Tulcea county and go back in Moldova 😉
Wow you have a very nice vegetation ❤
In my opinion, Oradea really is underrated. I live here but I got used to it and I always felt like it's nothing really special, but in the past years the city got a bit more modernized. I'm glad that you liked it :)
Cool shirt Steve
Hi! Not all cities and towns in Romania have this style. But mostly those from Transylvania due to the Austrian influence.
Also, Bucharest was partly destroyed by Ceaușescu and most historic buildings were destroyed to make space for the brutalist buildings.
Brasov nice town to visit Biserica Neagra, Poiana Prasov, 7 scari trip Eat at Sergiana restaurant in BV Sinaia Peles castle ,Bran castle Maramures beautiful area ( visit on Christmas time) and Delta Dunarii ( summer time the best)
@JetLag Warriors you can go to Complex Magura (Buzau). From there you can visit Vulcanii Noroiosi, (Mud Volcanos) they are the biggest in Europe, plenty other objectives I think it's a Unesco site. You can also stay at Cetatuia few kilometers away from the Complex, it's pretty cool in the middle of the forest. At Complex Magura they have a nice Spa, almost forgot we've been there last week and I eat the best MICI !
