Hi guys. Maybe I have a clue which explains the prohibition of drone usage in the city center area. Arad has a fortress on the other side of the Mures river (basically almost in the city center). Now, this is held by the state army and is an active military establishment. You are not allowed to take footage or photograph military establishments, only with special permits. This might be the reason. But hope is there as in a few years the fortress should be transferred to the local authorities and hopefully opened to the public.
To put it short.... -No. There are some very beautiful buildings in the old areas but not a lot of renovation, restoration and maintenance happened in Arad, unlike other cities like Timisoara or Oradea (in the West of country).... sadly. Also it doesn't have that many big or impressive squares. Arad has some potential in certain areas but not right now , will not blow anyone away.
For drone footage check Șoimoș fortress în Arad county or Ghioroc Lake. If you have crossed that bridge you will have found biggest public pools space on a river in Europe. Arad its not boring if you know the places. The Red and White trams are for the local team a big enemy of Rapid outside of the capital City. Would have loved if you done justice to the city with a longer video.
For a city with a history of nearly 1000 years, a under 10 min video is a bit insulting, notheless every visit is welcomed and encouraged. I would suggest on your next visit to book a free walking tour provided by Arad Free Tours - and in their standard 3 hr tour you will find quite a lot of the sights that have been missed altogether because a city of 160k people is definitely not just one street. Anyways happy to see you enjoy what you have seen! Do come back!
I don't want to attract haters, but I think Arad lacks the people interaction part. I moved to Timisoara for some years now and everytime I return home in Arad it feels like many people are hostile (especially in traffic). I think this is also related to your problem with drone recording. Very good-looking city, but most of my folks moved from it and sadly it's not as welcoming and warm as before :'(
Did you visit the Danube Gorges? You can also stop at Baile Herculane, a 2000 year old resort once of international fame and now sadly in dire need of investment.
Timisoara was the first European city with street electric lights. As suggestions you can go to the Cetatea Aradului if is opened (because there is a military base) on Mures river shore where was imprisoned Gavrilo Princip the assassin of Franz Ferdinand who lead to the WWI. From Arad you can go to Radna-Lipova, a small strange sister-towns with a famous Catholic monastery( Maria Radna) who have interesting paintings and famous religious festivals and also you can see Soimos castle ruins. The Arad region is famous for the Minis strong red wines. In Arad the tram was introduced in 1869.But in Lipova was introduced in 1860 the first tram line from Romanian territory (then was Austro Hungarian).

The brewery can only be visited 3 days a year when the Timișoara City Days event takes place.
How come you couldn't fly the drone in Arad?? That's first time I hear that.:)
Welcome ! :)
Guys please visit Targoviste, Dracula's old court.❤
Also suggest Pitesti, Braila, Constanta.
Hello!
The drone rules apply to all Europe!
You cannot fly a drone in a place where people owns the property. It meant to protect privacy rights.
You should visit Pitesti, Braila or Buzau! ⛾💈
visit checheci or confectii
they're both amazing cultural centers!!
Romania is far from ok, we still have a lot to solve.
But you are perfect ambassadors and I think you do a better job than many travel agents paid with big money, thank you.
Please come to Craiova, the park has a beautiful history.
Far from Ok!?Unde? La tine in mahala?Bai khakhacel!
@@falxus9962 are dreptate.
Yo yo ,my hometown😊👍
Did you know that there is a city in Israel with the same name, Arad? Very interesting.
Hi, have u guys visited Sargimezatusa yet?
For a city with a history of nearly 1000 years, a under 10 min video is a bit insulting, notheless every visit is welcomed and encouraged. I would suggest on your next visit to book a free walking tour provided by Arad Free Tours - and in their standard 3 hr tour you will find quite a lot of the sights that have been missed altogether because a city of 160k people is definitely not just one street. Anyways happy to see you enjoy what you have seen! Do come back!
❤
I don't want to attract haters, but I think Arad lacks the people interaction part. I moved to Timisoara for some years now and everytime I return home in Arad it feels like many people are hostile (especially in traffic). I think this is also related to your problem with drone recording. Very good-looking city, but most of my folks moved from it and sadly it's not as welcoming and warm as before :'(
Did you visit the Danube Gorges? You can also stop at Baile Herculane, a 2000 year old resort once of international fame and now sadly in dire need of investment.
Welkome to my hometown
As a Romanian I'm surprised that you like our country😀
Super
My city!
Today îs the AOA festival At the airport, you should check it
if you're still in timisoara try the vaporeto
Visit the bear sanctuary in Zărnești, Brasov.
Can you go to Lipova plsss
Mergeți la restaurantul Nissara! O să se bucure Ivana!
❤❤❤❤
