I'm just getting into building models (and dioramas once I'm ready) and in the TON of research I've been doing (I'm very focused on 1/35 WWII European Theater), I don't see much in the way of intense emotion, movement, and horrors of war that I know from my own experiences, exist. Obviously, there are limitations for the majority of builders based on what model makers put on the market, and as best as I can tell, model makers are offering more in the areas I'm discussing - various arms, heads, etc and it looks like "wounded" and "dead" in this genre are being designed and created, but having spent a lot of time in war zones, I know there is a lot more intensity and emotion and brutality that, if done well could be conveyed in diorama builds and I want my work to represent that...to the best that I'm able. Therefore...learning from you how to cut, wire, and mold figures is a HUGE weight off my shoulders because the truth is, I don't want to invest all the time, education, and efforts into learning how to do this if I'm ultimately limited by what model makers offer - You enlightened me on how I can have greater control and ownership over my work AND how to practically do it, that doesn't require a 3D printer and the mind of an MIT student. While I'm a looooong way off, from building my first diorama (I just ordered my first WWII figures and a small Vallejo German Infantry paint set and scrapping the $$ for that was hard enough as 53-year-old, married, dad of 5 kids...I don't see the money I make LOL!), I already have a clear plan for what I intend to create. Again, huge thank you for sharing your knowledge - your personality (especially your dry sense of humor), ideas, and finished work make you great at this! I hope to be able to join your Patron group at some point. @@dioramadevil
I was watching this with my 9yo son who is a better modeller than I am... you got me into trouble!!! He has started cutting spare figures already!!! Excellent video, educative and a joy to watch as always!!
Those were surgical interventions on the three little guys. But the result doesn't need to hide - great work! I look forward to see the continuation! Cheers, John
Really great video, I never converted figures in this degree and I highly respect your work. And thank you for the nice shout out, happy I can at least make one person happy with my accent😂😂👍😉
Hello Devil! I was sent here by Ian - he mentioned your channel in one of his vids - and here I am, and I have to say you're funny as hell. I really like your style and will start watching all of your content. As far as I have seen, you are quite an accomplished and skilled modeler, so I bet I will learn a thing or two from you 🙂Thanks in advance, you've got yourself a new subscriber 👍
Welcme aboard. 😁 Can you tell me what Ians video send you here? Hope you are having a good time, and if you want much more, check out my Patreon page... ❤️💪
Oct. 10, 2022---Thanks for the video as it's the FIRST one I've seen where/how figures are modified. The only other one I've seen is where a guy makes a wire armature and uses putty to build up the body, which is beyond my skill. Working on a 1/35 Master Box pinup girl that I'll use in a 1/35 scale zombie/apocalypse diorama. lots of neat tricks shown that I'll be using, though probably use Milliput as that's what I have on hand, along with those silicone brushes you use4d.
Tnx... Look, I also dont have any artistic tallent. But we can follow rules, right? Those modifications are a good way to start. Mybee I will try a armature body one day who knows... 😀
i think this was very good...your technique is simple and easy to follow....great tips except the sucking on a resin coated tooth pick lol....i'll join and check your site for part 2, sanding
superb work, and really interesting to see how to transform the figures... as I will need to do so for a project I have in store needing both George Clooney and Matt Damon inside a mine gallery... (yep, a monument men diorama project) Eric, from Belgium 🇧🇪.
Neato. Joey looks like a Bob in the United States. Enjoying your videos and subscribed. You deserve one medal 🏅, let’s make it two medals 🎖️
Tnx from the ❤️...
I like the idea of using wire to keep the pieces of the arm together after cutting and shaping them.
It is like a sceleton... 😁
This just solved a huge ‘WTF am I going to do about that?!’
Big Thanks!
About what??? 😮😁

Hello ! Good work!
Fyi, the KS750 are not designed for solo riding, the driving is really horrible. It would be great to add his side car ;)

Keep me posted with your procedure...
@@dioramadevil I will. I hope I'll be able to make some videos of it to document it on UA-cam too...
@Diorama Devil good tips. Can your methods work as well for 1/35th Scale Resin Casted figures besides the injection moulded plastic figures? 🤔
Yes, I think... You should use Ca glue...
@@dioramadevil "Ca glue" are you referring to SUPER GLUE or cyanoacrylate adhesive?
@@MrPeter-sn1yp exactly... 🤟
@@dioramadevil Good. I have a mix of injection plastic, resin cast as well as 3D-printed 1/35th Scale figures in my stash to work with.
@@MrPeter-sn1yp just, give it a test try, and you will know... 😀
What are the helmet straps made from?
In this case, mustard tube foil, because I wanted some shape...
heads hornet?
Yes, sir... 👌
Why Petrucci is not the one on the motor bike? Makes no sense!
Good point... 😂🤟
Love your work bro , but please for your sake don’t put that “putty” tooth pick in your mouth, a wet tissue works a treat !
You are probably right... 😐 Tnx...
Looks great
