Pozdravljen, Glede na to, da je tvoj prispevek iz leta 2023 si verjetno v tem času že dojel, da se Hornet glave zgoraj odrežejo in ni potrebno obdelovati pokrival (čelad). Tako kot je to pri večini Dragon figur in podobnih. Odrežeš točno nad ušesi in spredaj malo nad očmi. Zato pri Hornet tudi delajo veliko "plešastih" glav. Odrežeš zgornji del glave in preprosto nalepiš čelado, naj bo to Ameriška, Nemška ali kar koli drugega. Jaz uporabljam veliko Hornet glav, Verlinden, Royal model, Alpine in nekaj Legend glav. Razlike v velikosti glav pa so včasih strahotne. Tako, da je včasih prav težko uskladiti telo in glavo. Kar se pa barvanja glav in uniform tiče pa ne bom komentiral. Lahko ti dam povezavo do strani, kjer se naš hobby (plastično maketarstvo) spremeni v umetnost. Moj vzornik je Günther Sternberg. Interesting. For stuff like the tiny enlargement of those cutouts, I usually glue sandpaper onto a bit of plywood (the kind you'd use on a scroll saw), essentially creates the bigger brother of a sanding stick. 😁

Ive got one of those mixing palettes and cover it with tin foil. Saves keep cleaning it, when all the mixing places are used, discard and replace.

I like to work with Fruil-tracks it's my first time now,building them together is amazing, with some Heavy Metal-music in the background is beautiful experience. I did degrease them with Isopropyl-alcohol. Tomorrow I do them in the burnishingfluid.

For uniform belts and weapon shoulder straps I paint blue 3M Painters Tape the appropriate color, then I use an X-Acto knife to cut it to the width and length needed. The nice thing about this tape is that is accepts paint readily, and its adhesive makes it easy to affix to figures, weapons, etc.

"As much fun as pulling barbed wire out of your b*tthole." I hesitate to ask how you know that! 😱

Nice, but greatcoats of Red Army has been grey colour, NOT green. Also in your work sapper blade is glued with the wrong side to belt of mini's. Two rectangles - are loops with which the cover of sapper blade was put on the soldier's belt.

A note for people in hot climates: Don't let Revel glue get too warm or it'll blow the top off the bottle as I learnt to my regret when it went all over my modelling tools. This was in the garage in Queensland Australia
