Years ago when my kids were small I would say to them, "I have a cunning plan." As they got older they came to realize it was a plan that was stupid and destined to go horribly wrong... But they grew up to appreciate Blackadder.
I haven't heard the ironmongers daughter, but George had messed up. It should be, she was only the fishmongers daughter, but she could lay on a slab and say 'fillet!'
@@davidbolha I admit, I didn't. What does that have to do with your inane preference of referring to Hugh as a smarmy boor he played in an overrated American sitcom?

I had to look that up, but he actually rose to fame DURING WWI. He first appeared in short films in 1914, the first year of the war, but the US didn't join the war until 1917 and by the end of the war (1918) Chaplin was world famous. His first full length film wasn't until 1921, "The Kid".

She was only the fishmonger's daughter, but she laid on the slab and said fillet. Pronounced fill it.

He appears to be doing some feeble impression of Buster Keaton.

Was Charlie Chaplin even active during WWI?
