Robbie was such a broadly versatile actor but barely known in the US before the Harry Potter series. That said "Cracker" was dark and I had to stretch to imagine him being so serious vs anywhere else. We miss him.
Hugh laurie absolute genius dont know how many times I've watched it but his facial expressions does it for me especially Norman Tounge comedic genius 🤣🤣❤
Still a great ensemble, among the best at their craft, from the silly to the sublime.. Thank you. American . I have always loved British comedies .Sharp wit.
Thank you PBS for bringing great comedies across the pond for Americans to enjoy shows like this one, FAWLTY TOWERS, ARE YOU BEING SERVED, MONTY PYTHON and the rest..BRAVO
Comedy royalty, and legends even to many of us here in the US. Blackadder IS a favorite series to binge, say when I'm under the weather, but it competes with other Brit comedy during those long rests. (Brit Box is totally worth the $ to sub) btw, Soupy twist. 🙂
My geography teacher taught me about prehistoric creatures, those are meganthropus palaeojavanicus and pithecanthropus erectus, nothing Norman about them..the palaeonthologists who discovered them were Gustav von Koenigswald and Eugene Dubois. And also 2 ancient civilizations: Mohenjo Daro & Harappa..I even still remember how he said Anyway why does baldrick keep following George or Edmund?
The three rules of British comedy........ 1, Be comfortable in taking the piss out of yourself and your cultures/laws. We know in the real world we are the best nation on God's own Earth, so we worry not about mocking ourselves. 2, Make sure it IS funny and the timing near perfect. 3, Add some intelligent jokes.
not about Welsh politics just British politics at the time, William Pitt the Younger (called that because his dad also called William Pitt had been prime minister previously) was and still is the youngest prime minister we've ever had at 24, and also was our second longest serving prime minister of all time lasting 18 years
Stephen Fry wailing into his good pal Hugh Laurie has got to be one of the funniest things ever
Supremely over the top 😂😂😂
Why he hardly touched the man!

The Dr Johnson scenes are some of the greatest comedy scenes in British comedy history. 😂

Humorous. Please refrain from massacring the English language.

Mind, sir, or I shall take off me belt and, by thunder, me trousers will fall down!
One of my favourite Blackadder sketches. Brilliant comedy performance from Warren Clarke

And the biggest of them all: Only Fools and Horses 😄
Fry makes an excellent Duke of Wellington.
Luv the Black Adder !!!!
I've never seen this show before! I laughed so hard my ribs hurt!!! Thanks for the LOLs!
My favorite season of Blackadder. The cast and the writing was absolutely laser-focused.
Sausage, SAUSAGE!!
WOOF! WOOF!
Harsher punishments for geography teachers! After we've finished with old Boney, of course!
"Your little g-nome is correct, Monsieur."
Chris Barrie stealing the show with that whole scene, quite rightly too
You will be sick immediately

Is this actor Mr. Beam as I suppose... Great ❤
Not for everyone, but some of the best ever written, absolutely brilliant
Pitt the Even Younger
Pitt the embryo, Pitt the glint in the milkman's eye
They never make shows like this anymore because they treat every audience like they haven’t 2 brain cells to rub together
Have you met any young (as in under thirty) people recently? I consider it overly generous to be crediting them with 2 brain cells.
To quote this show they have one brain cell for the entire family: "Who's using the family brain cell at the moment, Baldrick?"
Best ever,
Cool. Thanks for sharing.
Dog: not a cat 😂
Baldrick 😂
Maybe someone might be stealing his socks ):
I can sense the offal swaying from his nose.or the dripping meat in his love me tender smile
Its on.
DARLING........
That reminds me! Hey, Disney - MACBETH!!! 💀
Anyone hear the 🐑 in the room 😂😂😂
Little Baldrick. Mate.

Who buys 59.000 pounds of socks????
Someone whose socks keep disappearing (and definitely not stolen...)
Putney Bridge!
All the scenes are based in real history. British visitors to France were prohibited from leaving, by law.

Season 3 is personally my least favorite. And even then, it has so many awsome moments

First bit: Am I missing a joke about welsh politics? I feel like I don't have a right to know as an American, but I would love an explanation.
