@@monetprotege It depends on when this rule was changed. On TAR25, once you booked a flight and purchased tickets, you were stuck with that flight. It wouldn’t surprise me if Rob and Amber or Joe and Bill tried this strategy.
@@OnceUponAnIsland Charla & Mirna is my bet. Mirna is a whole mastermind when it came to airport know-how. They were known for their sneaky airport tactics early on and even during All-Stars. She's the only one ruthless enough to do something to that magnitude. "Desmond, kick some people off... they don't need to go to Hong Kong. We need."
I think a "winner edit" is definitely easier on Survivor because there's a lot more "editable" elements to highlight strategy or the whole outwit outplay outlast thematic so once they know the final 3, they can choose to use or not use certain moments to paint a better picture. TAR is a lot less strategic and at the end of the day, if you suck at navigation or completing roadblocks/detours, there's only so much they can do in terms of editing.
To be honest, the winner's edit is a lot more prominent and obvious in the more recent seasons that it takes away the fun from watching the season play out. Ever since 30, they are always the ones who are neutral with their personalities in the broadcast and highlight moments more playfully than the rest of the teams.
I miss Elimination Station. Ari & Staella were so messyyyy even during the Ireland leg and their flameout from 1st to worst just by that donkey task is still one of the most karmatic and THE most entertaining I've seen in the history of the series.
For the last secret I believe that it was Colin and Christie. Also Rob and Brennan debated doing it on season 1 and it was shown. They didn’t do it because they thought that it would be morally wrong
I still have a theory it's Charla & Mirna. I don't see Christie following through with a sabotage like that, but Mirna I definitely can and Charla obviously would string along. Or it could be a flop team like Marshall & Lance who couldn't get ahead.
Nice video! I’m not on the patreon anymore but covering Australian Survivor Hero’s vs Villains would be great content. Definitely had some great rivalries and character moments. Keep up the good work!
I appreciate the approach to editing even though I don't watch the show. I would watch Survivor occasionally from seasons 1-40, and I just feel like no one should be getting a "winner's edit" or "purple edit". Treat every player and episode fairly, cut out the filler stuff, give everyone opportunities for confessionals, and leave it alone. The viewer shouldn't be searching from day one to see who gets the most screentime to figure out who is important or not.
I loved the 2 that recornized Phil for that other show they seem fun, if they ever made auditions for the show they absolutely should get in automatically
So TAR is the most real and unscripted reality show ever. No pre game alliances no retaking challenges or production orchestrating eliminations. TAR is the real one it’s incredible

Season 15 is great imo, enjoy it, savor it, cherish it while it lasts. Next season in your lineup will either have you in a breakdown or salty based on what everyone else says (my opinion ain't really matter here lol).
Wow! They must have just privated the whole channel in the past few days. I literally watched the video through that link on March 21. The podcast is called Buckit with Phil Keoghan, but the viewership was low so they stopped making them a few years ago.

It's weird - I loved the Holderness couple on the Race, I'm happy they won, and they seem like nice people, but I cannot get into their YT content at all. Lynn and Alex were completely insufferable when it came to hating on Rob and Amber.
Season 1 had the restriction, season 2 is when they started to allow them to change flights. I wouldn't be surprised if Rob & Amber did this on season 7.

This happened in the early seasons when teams could book (with the intention of switching flights, not blocking them) as many flights as they wanted.
