Longtime viewer first time commenter. The fact that the Amazing Race bus picked up evacuees during 9/11 gives me chills. Especially since I lived through it. Phil was right to have that feeling about the grand scheme of things at the time.
Brook & Claire NEED to make a comeback to my screen. One of the most unique teams I've ever seen race and were always able to push through the pain, every task with flying colors, and through the embarassment.
I read somewhere on the wiki that Tian & Jaree from TAR4 were originally supposed to compete on season 3 but they couldn’t because their paperwork got lost. Fast-Forward to season 4, early on in the race, Jaree was told by doctors that she was suffering from a fever with high temperatures and were suggested not to compete. Jaree decides to compete anyways, but of course, Tian does all the Roadblocks during their time on the race due to Jaree’s sickness (and uselessness) and Tian goes on to become the first woman to ever go bull-racing during the leg-7 Roadblock in India, which makes the local newspapers as a result. Wow.
I'm a Total Drama fan (the Island reboot is so good! MK is queen!), but Ridonculous Race wasn't it for me. It lacked creativity to make it their own and it felt like a cheap animation of the actual TAR. I would love another World Tour season with this new batch of campers and new additions. World Tour did the travel aspect way better imo.
I was today years old when I learned that Phil & Jeff Probst from Survivor were both the final 2 options for the job of Survivor host, but they went with Jeff because of Phil's accent. Then The Amazing Race almost didn't cast Phil as host for the same reason, but they finally do, however they made him "Americanize" his accent. The producers really didn't think Americans would respond well to Phil. Just goes to show, when God closes a door, he opens a window.😊
That secret about Eric and Danielle makes me really angry. I already didn't like them when they were on the show the first time. I was so upset when they won their season. I could think of so many other teams that could've been there instead. Thanks for making these videos. I love TAR and I'm happy to see someone making interesting videos about it.
I don't like the mixing of past teams to create a new one when there were so many good teams they could have picked instead of frankensteining one together.
@@OnceUponAnIsland I totally agree. Similar to the season when Bopper was sick so Mark ran the race with Mallery. I actually like both Mark and Mallery, but I could tell that team was doomed from the start. Also, I think Mark only wanted to run the race with Bopper, which is completely understandable.
I don't mind Eric since he was part of the team (Eric & Jeremy) that dominated the Pit Stop arrivals in season 9, but Danielle being there really pissed me off and it was the one and only disgrace to that series-defining season.
yeah i love the reason why Drew & Flo declined the All-Stars invitation, and i'm sad it wasn't said in the video they declined because Flo wouldn't come back to the race if she couldn't do it with Zach, who was a really close friend
I'm surprised Fresh TV (the ones who made Ridonculous Race) never got sued by CBS for that. They copy-pasted most if not all of the elements from the actual race like the Detour, Roadblock, Route Info, Pit Stop, clue box, Intersection, route marker motif, and even the penalty times into their animation. The premise is exactly alike. Even styled their host to look uncannily similar to Phil and copied Amy & Maya's appearance for the Mary & Ellody team down to their jawline.
Eric & Danielle hate is way overblown. Eric was cocky and rude at times and he got his comeuppance when the hippies beat him orignally. But hating him for winning 11 is ridiculous. He dragged Danielle to that win and pretty much solidified himself as the best individual racer of all time. He holds the highest average placement with Jeremy (as of S35, Ricky and Cesar might end up destorying this in S35) and he won the race going up against all stars.
i always heard Eric and Danielle replaced Kris & Jon (after Drew and Flo declined) Phil gave a list of 15 teams that should be brought back for All Stars. the 10 teams (minus Eric and Danielle), Ken & Gerard (who he really tried to get on), Jon & Kelly, Colin & Christie (who would’ve been on and Boston Rob would’ve been happy), Kris & Jon, and Dave & Lori
I was quite happy with Eric and Danielle winning, as he had deserved to win his first series after dominating. I like Danielle and I don't mind if they weren't a couple at that time. They had been.

It’s been ages since I saw this show but I remember it was a wild, fun ride. My favorite teams are the Asian American brother and sister duo- I think they won?- who had a leg in China in which the brother downed raw scorpion, raw spiders, you name it so as not to waste time getting them fried. And the hippies who had a leg in Japan and ended up winning, I loved their spirit and how they could always say a few words in the language, wherever they went.
Tammy & Victor! Loved their energy throughout the race and the sequence of Tammy tripping and falling after a camel kicked an Indian man down in the background never fails to make me laugh
Brooke Adams was also on a season of TLCs rattled with her new boyfriend now husband and she has two kids from him. She's a former 3 times impact (formerly tna) wrestling knockouts champion And a former 1 time knockouts tag team champion with Tara (Victoria from wwe) Robbie cheated on Brooke and that led to their break up. He's currently working on WWEs development brand NXT And Brooke is a real estate agent
