You have a fine shop dog there, she makes me smile! I had a GSP like that and if she was missing check to see if she found a way into a car or truck to nap. All it took was a door open and you turn your back. She loved to ride too!

I have a weird rumble and rubbing sound coming from the rear end whenever I make tight turns. any ideas of what that might be? My first thought was that maybe the rear differential fluid needs to be changed out, but just wanted to see if I could possibly get a second opinion.
Quick question. I'm sure you have put some miles on it already. Did you get any kind of vibration now that you put the front spacer in? I have 2in spacers I'm about to cut down to a 1 1/2in. I already have the 2.5in rears installed. Thanks in advance! I tried doing the two in and it was impossible to get everything to go back in. So I am having the spacer cut down a bit
I am quite happy with the stock suspension on my 98 CR-V, plenty high enough. Wouldn't the lift kit put extra stress on driveshaft/steering joints and other components like the rear trailing arm bushes?
Too bad I don't live closer, I'd love to do this to my CRV. I don't have the tools to do it myself. Finding a good mechanic here is Mexico is not an easy thing to do.

If you had put the nut on before you cut the bolt to length, you could have backed out the nut to clear the thread, without needing the die.

Looks good, a simple easy and cheap way to lift it, we got the same CRV here in England too, so very interesting, definitely food for thought.
This is perfect. I want to lift my crv and I wasn’t sure if I needed control arm spacers as well or longer cv axels

Did you have to change camber or alignment?
I bought a slightly larger tire over the stock size (5 tires). This gave me a better selection of tires.
What size are you running? When I was looking, any attempt to get taller tires drastically limited my selection.
How were the wheel cambers when you checked the alignment?
Did you remove the rear sway bar?
I am sorta surprised that with the car being that age you didn't add new struts?
Did you need anything else besides the spacers?

In case anyone else wants to know, that's almost certainly rear differential needing new fluid.

@@armandoacosta90 I put a 1 1/2 spacers on the front and it vibrates.Im going to lower it to 1" spacers on the front 2 1/2 on rear.

Yes is too high. For the front.mine vibrates from 10mph to 30mph got 1 1/2 spacers.
any updates now that its been installed for a month or so? vibrations , alignment issues ?

@julioortega3263 I believe with the 2" you will need adjustable control arm. 1.5" you don't need it.
