I've got a 2" spacer kit for my 05' CRV, the spacers are for the struts only. Tyres are 215/65/16, so stock, no rubbing, no wobble, no issues. Check alignment and wheel balance. 100mph and no problems.
@@kevindiazzzz still factory after 18 years and 300kkm. I've only changed rear springs, the left one broke. The test is still factory and is going strong. But od I have to change, it would be KYB, had them on Sorento 1gen, good struts.
I installed the 1.5 inch lift kit on my 04 Crv. I had to get the subframe drop and the camber adjustment kit in order for everything to line up and get an alignment done properly. It was a pain for me but I am happy with the ending result. No drive issues or axle wobble.
I have the same setup as yours, and my crv is not bumpy at all. The ride is smoother, and the front tires does not rub, it might be the brand you have on. I still get good gas mileage on mine, as long as you get your alignment on point.
I was eating dinner up at Times Square yesterday and saw this CR-V in the parking lot. I thought I recognized it. I parked my 2011 3rd Gen with the 3" HRG lift next to it.
If you would like a better ride quality on your crv, I’d recommend a subframe lowering kit for the front and a spacer for the rear trailing arm for the rear to help your suspension articulate .
Trabajan, solo que clara mente no es un off road extremo es Más para calles de tierra y un poco comucado de entrar en un auto normal, pero si trabajan muy bien, yo tengo mi crv la tengo elevada y con llantas m/t 235/75r15
Wanting to lift my 2000 crv was going to start with new wheels and tires not sure what im going to need as my lift kit is going to take a bit to come in and i dont wanna get screwed over at a shop with the tires and wheels since i can just go pick them up. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated
I see people write different stuf about 1.5" and 2". Some of you say it works fine, others say they need subframe drop kit with the lift kit ....I have the 2nd gen EX manual 2.0 4x4 2005 model with stock 16" rims, and I just bought 225/75/16 MT tires, and I dont know wich lift kit height I should buy now. 1.5" or 2" ? I dont want the subframe kit. Just lift 😅 any help on what I should go for
I have an 06 CR-V, I'm not looking to lift it but I would like a more aggressive looking tire. Do you know what options are out there that won't require any modifications? My vehicle is a daily driver, no off-roading. I just want to improve the look. Thanx
I have 03 CRV witth 225 70 15 tires my trouble is the tire rubbing when im back heavy. I also have a limited budget as of now, can you recommend the 2in lift and the trail arm spacers for a start?
Isn't it worth getting subframe drop anyhow Incase you decide to go higher then a 2" lift.? I got the aerogenics spacers and subframe drop for 2" total lift.
As an update to this I got spacers for the front and read additionally I had to get the following to get the allignment right I had to get Camber adjustment bolts On the rear my tyres are fine with the lift and the cambers bolts. However, on the front the nuts that hold the lift spacers in keep coming loose so I am going to change them out with Nyloc nuts today. I bought the Aerogenics lift spacers next time I'll get a different set for the fronts I think.
I've heard that my tires will fit the stock 2nd gen Crv but they will rub on the fender liners. My tires rubbed when turned hard left or right after the lift so I ended up cutting the fender lining.
Gotta be drive shafts like my one even with dropping the engine and subframe with HRG kit Don’t do it I spent over 2000gbp on mine at 50mm sold for 150gbp after total 4000 invested
Abbott to dude I want to lift a ep3 civic I hurd the struts the same on the top mounts triangle bolt patern I've not seen any yanks do a 7th gen si or any thing ect any info you know be a grate help

no sub frame drop?
@@lokopuff777 Yes, no sub frame drop. And no problem withe THE drivetrain after 100kkm.
Nice. What brand did u go with for struts?

I have wobble in acceleration on my 2003 crv, i know its the front axle. I have a 1 inch lift kit.

What brand lift do you got ?
I love the “Better call Saul” voice. Nice Ride!Aloha 🤙🏾

Lol nice. That was me 😂 I bet your Crv looks sick! Would love to review a lifted 3rd Gen.
@@Jdmforall I don't live far from Times Square. I'm practically next door to Cherry Bombers. I'd be happy to let you check it out.
lift kit and looks over ride quality..why not lol!💪
Damn that looks really nice. Definitely gonna consider doing that with my 04 CRV when I have to replace the tires.

It was most likely the wheel spacers causing the rubbing. If you only got rubbing in reverse that indicates bad control arm bushing.
Yeah I had to down size my tires in the 2015 tacoma because of rubbing.
What size were the bigger tires?
@@Jdmforall I Don't remember now. It was 3 years ago.

My 97 sits a little higher in the front and I would think I need to go like 1” in front a 1 1/2” in the rear what do you think.
like your tires on your crv bro.
That's the mpg drop from lift and tires?
I have a truck so large lift isn't really needed as my $900 1997 crv got just to Carry dogs , pickup stuff
do you have upgrades on your engine after you lift your crv or its just the lifting kits you added? also does it add more gas consumption?
My crv is stock other than the lift kit and tires. Yeah the bigger tires did lower the mpg.
i have the same wheels and do not experience rubbing like that. the front tire rubbing the fender is caused by the spacers.
Do you have stock suspension?
i am planning to do a same setup. 1.5 lift and 235 75 15. do i need a whees spacers so i wont rub? or i can run it without wheel spacers?
You can run this set up without wheel spacers. I removed mine a while ago.
Great video. How have the larger tires affected fuel economy?
Thanks! The fuel economy isn't the best but it wasn't very good before the mods lol

How does it affect your gas mileage?
I love this 🔥What kind of suspension kit do you have on it? (Tie rods, struts + springs, etc)
So far only have the 1.5 inch HRG spacer lift kit. The rest is stock.
Did you dyno time after lifting?
Great job mate.... Do I need to install a lift kit before I get those big tires?

I bought them from my brother.
