To be fair, he's partially right. I was reall, looking forward to utilizing Argonian's underwater breathing ability, but NOPE, Skyrim had no underwater content, or even combat, even though they literally have underwater breathing spells, and a perfect setup for giant nordic sea monsters. In that aspect an Argonian build is kind of useless. Orcs have a pretty good racial ability, Berserker rage, but the unique content around Orcs can be summes up in a fortune cookie: they are aggressive, simple minded, and love to fight. They are one dimensional, and the game offers nothing lore-wise or story-wise beyond this. Which is even more outrageous when you consider that Nords and Orcs are basically identical, and an orc Dragonborn could probably use this commonality to forge a peace between Orcs and Nords. Also, yeah, I was a stormcloak every single time. Ulfric is the rightful High King of Skyrim, and if the empire was smart, they'd use the Stormcloak rebellion to create a territory outside of the control of the Aldmery Dominion.

Whether it be torturing them for now reason from public executions to parading prisoners around the streets instead of taking them in a horse and carriage to jail. The disease resistance of Argonians was something that was so surprisingly handy as you didn't have to deal with trying to get rid of diseases. Combined with the stealth attributes, makes them surprisingly handy

Agonians will always have my respect, because during the oblivion crisis, the empire abandoned all countries to fend for themselves, and Blackmash, the Argonians, were the only country/species that were not only able to hold their own against the deadric forces, but they started to invade oblivion through the gates, forcing the deadric generals to close their own gates just so they could stop getting attacked relentlessly by the argonions. I always play Redguard not just because of immersion because im black but because i love the stamina, poison resistance and running around since i go for warrior first then i use console commands for mage later when i get bored.😅
Breton and Orcs are top tier for the racial bonus, If you plan on playing Legendary at level 1 Orcs make it very manageable. Breton's can also make Legendary a breeze due to the passive Magic Resist which is the strongest resistance besides poison. In the end though crafting makes it all obsolete so just pick whatever race you like to play as and have fun.
Argonians were the best. What are you talking about? They had a self-healing ability which made them almost impossible to kill, received more healing, could breathe underwater, could swim faster, they had claws, and they could eat raw food in survival mode.
And a bunch of argonians decided to raid back the dremora in their own realm after finishing their og kush during the oblivion crisis, they are based as fuck lore wise
Tbh, just playing on legendary with survival mode. The Breton is by far the best because the only thing you truly have to worry about is magic damage and if you get the racial abilities along with resto, vampire and alteration, you are actually unkillable. Reaching the armor cap Is a given with any character but argonian and orc are fairly good although the orc is the only real competition for racial ability. I will also add that I Ran into some info basically debunking the argonians fighting off the dremora and how it is from one source or person that claims it and also that person wasn't even alive, the theory is that the gate closed on its on from Martin Septim ending the crisis and the argonians thought they won and claimed it like the thalmor did. I found it rather interesting and it is honestly true. It is sad it takes away some of their badassery

Altmers are my favorite race with the best racial ability. When I started playing Altmer I can't imagine playing any other race. They are just to good.
I'll never forget the quest in ESO where you have to stop high elves from smashing argonian eggs. As my character was an argonian I found the experience traumatizing.
*magic absorption. Magic resistance caps at 80%, no matter how good you are at enchanting, magic absorption...not so much. Breton, atronach stone, atronach alteration perk and then magic resistance armor and you're basically invincible. Just put some nice health enchants on your armor and some magicka regen and you're set. All spells hitting you do nothing except recharge your magicka. For the fun of it, pack spellbreaker in one hand and your favorite big boom spell in the other and fuck shit up.

So we just gonna forget that during the oblivion crisis the hist called back a shit ton of argonians from all over Tamriel to black Marsh to defend it. And they were so badass when Dagon and his forces pulled up on their doorstep they not only repelled his forces but invaded his realm. So much so that he closed all oblivion gates in and around black Marsh permanently.
Orc is objectively the best race in the game when it comes to dps and resistance. Berserker rage is nuts and lets you get sneak attack damage into the thousands if I remember right.

Tbh, just playing on legendary with survival mode. The Breton is by far the best because the only thing you truly have to worry about is magic damage and if you get the racial abilities along with resto, vampire and alteration, you are actually unkillable. Reaching the armor cap Is a given with any character but argonian and orc are fairly good although the orc is the only real competition for racial ability. I will also add that I Ran into some info basically debunking the argonians fighting off the dremora and how it is from one source or person that claims it and also that person wasn't even alive, the theory is that the gate closed on its on from Martin Septim ending the crisis and the argonians thought they won and claimed it like the thalmor did. I found it rather interesting and it is honestly true. It is sad it takes away some of their badassery

*magic absorption. Magic resistance caps at 80%, no matter how good you are at enchanting, magic absorption...not so much. Breton, atronach stone, atronach alteration perk and then magic resistance armor and you're basically invincible. Just put some nice health enchants on your armor and some magicka regen and you're set. All spells hitting you do nothing except recharge your magicka. For the fun of it, pack spellbreaker in one hand and your favorite big boom spell in the other and fuck shit up.
