I was an Alfred 3 user for years ( inc. Powerpack) and I have to say that Raycast has now replaced Alfred. Free, super configurtable, and feature packed.
As an ex-Alfred user for years, I'm telling you, do upgrade to Raycast, which is like Alfred 2.0 :) Think of Alfred with 2023's UX and integrated AI Also a joy to use and the UI is pure beauty. Won't look back.
Great video. I’m a SetApp convert and love it. Also been using Alfred for several years. You may have mentioned them in previous videos but Hazel and Keyboard Maestro are my go to productivity apps.
I'd like to add Receiver Radio to the list. If you like to listen to online radio stations while working, this one will do very well. It sits in the menu bar and is very straightforward in its use. I'm using it on both my MacBooks and my iPhone. Favorited stations are being stored in iCloud and sync automatically between all my devices.

I donˋt get this thing with Alfred. If I am using Spotlight and looking for Folders or Data Files, I get the same results, just without typing the word "find".
find and search is the same sure: a good e.g of what it does further: pre written email reply snippets, complex automations and a ton of other advanced features beyond searching the web! :)

Cheatsheet tanked my M1 battery it was dying faster than normal till I removed it now it’s normal again. I know it’s cheatsheet it’s the only thing I’ve installed this year

Another reason Iina (which means “that is very good” in Japanese) rocks is, you can make it copy the keyboard shortcuts of VLC or whatever app you’re used to and (great for me) take screenshots and add the file name of the video they are taken from. VLC basically refused to ad any new features for 10+ years, they are a dinosaur that needs to be taken out and shot.

What keyboard do you use on the daily to write with, to code with, to be creative with? I am on an iMac from 2017 and Mac Mini M1 from 2020 and I need a wireless keyboard that I can rely on.
Son, the best mac app is AIM. this way if YOUS have a time machine back to 1998 YOUS can communicate like whoa. Let’s wake up and grow up and download an old version of AIM AT ONCE PLEASE.
IINA is great but I can't get it to play in anything but mono on my system. I think it might be because I'm using a UA Apollo, but I don't have this issue with VLC. Every now and then I install the latest version of IINA to see if it's changed... and then promptly uninstall it again.

I’m using the Keychron K3 V2 low profile. It’s very good to use - annoying that it take a mo to reconnect when it goes to sleep.
