"BoJack Horseman" does a great service to its characters by developing their stories and allowing them to grow, fail, change and adapt...except for Mr. Peanutbutter. That's why I love the episode, "Mr. Peanutbutter's Boos" in season five.

I loved your analysis, but I think the Boos is like what ghosts do, and this was a Halloween party
Bojack is my favorite too, this channel is widely underrated
In the end, Bojack really needed a friend like Mr. Peanutbutter. PB never left Bojack, and even offered him a place to stay when he became homeless. When PB criticized BoJack about how he treats him, that was the turning point in their relationship. Even if BoJack had pushed almost everybody away, PB stayed with him till the end. And I think that's really sweet. We all need a friend like PB
but no one should have a friend like bojack

This was from two years ago but still 😂 (no hate) but PB is an incorrect way to abbreviate Mr peanut butter because Mr is his first name 😮😂 so it’d be MP
The boo is also about Halloween and spookiness.

bojack is also one of my all time favorite shows, and though i'm late to this video i have to give it hella praise. i think the analysis of PB is one that often goes overlooked because like you said, he's usually played off as just a good-hearted, goofy dude. i absolutely LOVED this episode and watched it a few times in a row when i first saw it because honestly, the writing is phenomenal. the attention to the smaller details is why i keep coming back to this show. thanks for the review- one of the better bojack ones i've seen. definitely served the show justice. keeep goingggg
I wonder if he's actually gonna date someone his own age, he's into dirty old man territory but he's famous and a guy so that's ok! Gross but Diane did call him out and he didn't leave any of his ex's due to their age so there's hope.
(SPOILERS) I didn't get too into his final interaction with BoJack in S6E16, but PB actually ends on a similar note to BoJack as far as we see. Just like how BoJack is fully aware of his shortcomings and terrible behavior in general, PB comes to grips with the fact that his romantic relationships suffer because of him. BUT, there aren't any promises made for either character. They both know what it will take to be better, but maybe PB will go back to dating younger women and not growing with them and maybe BoJack will get out of prison and resort back to substance abuse and all of the other crutches he's used. It seems like that was purposeful on the writers' parts to have the two be left on such a similar note even if their circumstances are different.
@@OscarRzodkiewicz Ironically but probably on purpose from the writers, if you go by the your age divided by 2+7 rule Diane would probably be the appropriate age for him but that's if he was at the maturity level he should be. They even establish that by having PB and Diane admit they'd probably get along better if they met now. That's all very deliberate and great to see depicted on screen. Like you said we don't know where PB will end up but come the finale he does understand himself a little better and I don't actually think he's that agephobic since he would be married to someone in her 40's if it worked out and he missed her.
