    I needed to hear this so bad. I lost 85 pounds in 9 months on clean keto. Went carnivore 3.5 weeks ago. Weight just keeps bouncing up & down 3 pounds. Gave up yesterday & went back keto. I feel so awful today. My stomach is so bloated that I look pregnant. Back to carnivore I go. I gotta have hubby hide my scale. Thank you ladies!!

    I've been carnivore 2 years. Never felt better in my life. Lost 45 lbs, wnnt down 4 sizes. I never weigh anymore. My clothes fit so perfect ! It's meat( about 2 lbs ) butter, some cheese and eggs every day. Coffee, with heavy cream and a little stevia. Will eat this way the rest of my life. I'm never hungry
    Great vide

      Lisa Lindberg You may need electrolytes. Give it a try and see if that helps.

      @@lisalindberg9980 JW is most likely right. You are most likely deficient in either electrolytes and/or vitamins. Make sure you get RED MEAT, a healthy amount of MINERAL SALT, keep up the eggs and butter, and get lots of water... your body is transitioning and has to make up for years of neglect. It took me a few months to get over the hump - ad over a year and a half to fully come out of the woods. The withdrawals take a while, so just hang in there. And check out Shawn Baker and Paul Saladino...

      @@lisalindberg9980 Definitely hang in there. The total benefits are unfathomable. When I accidentally went carnivore 3 years ago I wanted to lose 10 pounds. I lost 25 and then gained back 10 in lean muscle mass and muscle tone. I also lost my lifelong nasal allergy, lost my depression, anxiety, suicidal tendencies, dry skin, oily hair, and a myriad of other things that I have simply forgotten about. It takes time but if you hang with it you will come out feeling better than you have never known! Note: if you are having some digestive issues (you know what I mean) it is because your guts are populated with improper microbes and it takes time for them to reset. Eventually you will find yourself going to the bathroom a couple of times a week. Don't be alarmed. Your body processes meat and fat really thoroughly so it takes time for waste to build up... Welcome to your new life!

      Hello, I can relate to having a hard time getting away from the coke and sweets. For me I was able to break free by making substitutes. I needed strong flavors. I used grated ginger in carbonated water with stevia as a replacement for the coke. I make fat bombs with sunbutter and coco powder. The longer I go with carnivore the less I go to these substitutes. God bless your journey. I'm sure everyone here wishes you well ❤

    An easy way to break the carb cycle is to start consuming carbs before noon, or early afternoon. Do this until it is only breakfast that you are consuming any carbs. Increase fats later in the day. You can get to a point where you can stop having carbs altogether.
    I did this, and it took a few months. I also remember that this is not a sprint but a lifetime choice.
    Oh, and if you think have a cheat meal or snack of carbs (sweets) is a warranted reward, tell me how you feel an hour or so later after consuming that cheat meal or snack.

    Calitlin/Vanessa. It would be helpful to the audience to know of this condition Vanessa struggled with called Lipedema. I went to www.lipedema.org, as Vanessa suggested. "Lipedema is prevalent in woman, more commonly occurs in teens, and menopausal woman. Characterized by a Symmetrical adipose buildup in arms and legs. Fat may have the consistency of rice, peas, or walnuts. Can cause easy bruising, pain, and fatigue,( as well as emotional distress)." It almost sounds like autoimmune illness when the fatigue factor is weighed in. Though, it is unfortunately not the kind of condition that mainstream medicine will pour money into for research.

      Hi! Yes I have lipedema. I’ve had it since I was about 12 years old. I’ve finally gotten relief from it from keto and Carnivore. Many doctors don’t know about it. I have some episodes of my podcast where I discuss it. The only resource I know that is credible is lipedema.org so I try to share it when possible to help raise awareness to anyone who wants to learn more. I am not an expert on the topic just sharing some of my personal experience and journey with it and what has helped me find some relief.

      nothing wrong with some hips, I definitely hold more weight on my lower half but it is not painful, I think that is the difference she is talking about.

      @@Thegrassfedgirl Definitely agreed! Though in the actual interview she didn't actually clarify that there was any physical pain, or fatigue, nor the name of the condition that I recall? She answered me in the comment section. It would be helpful to be more specific in the interview, as far as giving support to others that may be experiencing the condition, and either do not have a diagnosis yet, or have also been affected, etc.

      @@brookgraves368 I can't control what people share about. Thanks for your passion on this topic. In my experience carnivore helps most chronic conditions. I try not to get bogged down in the names or symptoms. Carnivore will help everyone bc it is our natural human diet.

      @@KetogenicGirl I noticed in the past (I do not follow you for over a year now) that whenever Dr.Ken D. Berry or someone else with authority posted a video on topic of ketogenic diet, next day after you had the same video saying the same things, That's what I mean as rip-off. Maybe since then you evolved and have your own content but then it was pointless to watch the same rehashed content just presented by a woman. I do know know what you post since then... I think you know exactly what I am talking about.

    • @KetogenicGirl
      @KetogenicGirl 4 роки тому

      Piotr Bagniewski I have no idea what you are talking about. I’ve been writing about keto since 2015 and wrote a book in 2017. I did not know anyone in the keto space until around 2017 when more people started talking about it on IG. Back then there were only a handful of us. I’ve had Dr Berry on my podcast a couple of times and he is a friend. Many of us discuss similar topics and ideas and get inspiration from each other. I haven’t watched that many of Dr. Berrys videos. I am a biochemistry student and interview guests on my show. I’m afraid you may be confusing me with someone else.
