I've been meaning to say, I realize how time consuming it is to record, edit and upload your videos, and wanted to say *thank you for your efforts* it is very much acknowledged and appreciated. ❤
Hi Bettina ❤ This was fascinating to watch and it turned out so beautiful! 🥰 That Aurora Orange really is quite special, isn't it!? I am going to add it to my wish list. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely art with us all ☺ Be well my friend 🤗
Thank you so much Bettina I really really enjoyed watching you create this beautiful and gorgeous piece. Your right those fliers seem other worldly. I absolutely love ❤❤❤ this and the granulated colour is so stunning 🤩 too. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
I'm so glad you are doing this sequence on the Kuretake granulating paints as I purchased a set and then I wasn't quite sure the best application. Really enjoying what you are doing with them. Thank you for sharing.
I love this Aurora Orange painting. This colour was the one I thought I liked least when I first got these paints, but it soon became my favourite. I could see that face for ages after you mentioned it! Rather than futuristic I think it looks pre-historic - right back to the primordial soup, in fact, when life had just begun.
Love how the colors have evolved, totally beautiful! Your way of putting the colors on the paper and playing with them until it fits is an art in itself. The doodles are the icing on the cake, they make everything so special. Due to health problems I couldn't watch your last videos, but I'll make myself comfortable at the weekend and binge watch them ❤😊
Thank you Bettina. I, at first, wanted these paints but couldn't justify the cost. Watching your beautiful videos I've determined these are not something I would use.
Really like how this piece turned out. The color pencil shading has been adding so much depth to your creations. It does seem more primordial than futuristic to me.🌸
I have not had a chance to try out my "Bettina" supplies that I ordered from Amazon from here yet. But I am looking forward to when I will have a quiet day to do so. This is just enchanting love - your art! I did not get these paints, but I have some wonderful super granulating watercolors from Schminke that I think might work. Thank you for sharing again. You inspire. ~❤~
Thank you very much for the impressive painting and the loving explanations. You are a great inspiration and teacher for me. I wish you a nice weekend and much greetings from southern Germany
Gave me an idea…I had been adding just a tiny bit of kuretake gold sumi ink into my other granulating paints (silver too, but the gold is the most vibrant I’ve found and because it’s an ink, you get more thin gold streaks-as long as you don’t mix it too much. Also, the ink particles stick to some of the granulation. I bought this set last month but haven’t painted anything in a month as I’ve dealt with a very sick (poisoned) Dr Kitty Leela (my ginger 1/2 Maine Coon was the victim of an angry neighbor who threw a toxic bug bomb into my apartment when I wouldn’t loan them anymore money..and, they’re being evicted because their severe hoarding + leaving an autistic 3yr old alone in their bug infested mess upstairs ended up in him flooding both of our apartments…and somehow, it’s MY fault 🙄😡…they know how much Leela means to me, so 🤷🏼♀️) Anyways, I gave my best friend this new set to play with until I’m no longer waiting on Leela 24/7. She’s coming over with it tomorrow, we’re going to put Leela and her bestie (my friend’s Bengal), in the stroller and spend some time painting on my big porch. I’ll play with the ink and see if the hu mingjiao (fish glue-it’s in most of kuretake and other Asian paints to use them on xuan paper) has any effect on the ink. I don’t think any of my Chinese paint chips or my other kuretake paints are granulating, so I never mixed them with the ink. We shall see!

Inspiring! I even got out my paints and put something in my book!
Oh wow! I love how the paint separated. So many yummy layers! Beautiful piece 🥰
Thank you and yes, I agree! It was quite surprising!
WhenI was first learning watercolors, (in high school 50+ years ago) I was taught to wet the back of my paper to keep it from curling.
Thank you!!❤
You bet! 😊
Stunning ❤ can I ask what tool you are using when you're making the white dots?
It's a dotting tool. I have it listed in the description box below the video if you want to have a closer look ☺️
👏🙌👌👍👍👍💐🇱🇺
