I look forward to finding your channel on Fridays. I just have received a rather large art supply haul inspired by you! ❤ I am slowly finding my own style also. I think I have decided to stop fighting inward with myself over it by admiring other abstract artists' work. How freeing this has been this last few weeks. Now I just need to take more time to paint. You, my dear, have been again such an inspiration! God bless! This was a masterpiece in my eyes. ❤❤❤
I love what you did with this piece! It’s crazy to think you only used one color and got such amazing results. I could watch those paints move around wet paper all day 🥰
Thank you for exploring the Kuratake 😮granulating watercolors further. It is always interesting to watch your composition develop. I loved seeing how shading made the stones pop.
Beautiful! I loved hearing your decision making and how even you have to spend time deciding what to do next 😂. What a gorgeous colour and type of paint. ❤
Oh my, Bettina, this is quite enchanting! Like out of a fairy tale! Love those sweet little plants…adding the shading and creating that glow was the perfect touch! I also liked the shading on the tops of the rocks from your lanterns! Wonderful! You make it look so effortless! ❤
Hi Bettina, after watching you explore the watercolors for the second time, I e become much more fascinated and interested in them. I enjoy watching you play with them and return to create your doodles and colored pencil shading. This is such a sweet piece. I’d be pleased too, if I had done it. I will probably watch you dabble with them a bit more before getting a set of my own. In the meantime, I have a pretty set of granulating watercolors by Daniel Smith, I recently purchased and oughta play with them first. Thanks for coming back to these Kuretake watercolor set.
I am surprised that the color you chose actually separated into two colors! Very cool. This piece came out beautifully. As always, I thank you for sharing!
What an inspirational piece this is. I purchased this set of paints not knowing what to use them with but just knowing I had to have them. After experimenting with them I agree that they are going to be wonderful backgrounds to build up beautiful art pieces. I am so looking forward to following your lead and excited that I get to practice using different mediums to accomplish art. Thank you so very much for sharing
I love this Bettina…your marks and doodles are always so imaginative and perfect for your artwork….just purchased these paints and will watch all your videos again as I use them….Thank you so much for sharing….Greetings from Sweden….❤
I would love to see you do a full study of all the colors in this set. Your shading and pencil work really adds to the overall depth of this piece. I'm personally obsessed with this pallet and am saving money for it.
Oh wow! This is amazing and so beautiful. I bought this set and tried it out last night making blob like rocks with each of the 5 colors. I wasnt enthusiastic about doodling on muddy looking colors. Thanks to you, I see that I really need to wet my paper first and let just one color move around a lot! I’m so excited to try again! I can’t wait until you do another video using the granulated Kuretake paint set! Thank you so much!
From what I've seen of this pallet, the key to it seems to be overwork it to the point of "abuse" 😂 don't give up on them, lots of water and movement of the color will get you further! Also, try diluting them in a mixing tray and giving them time to separate before placing on a nice wet paper. Good luck!!
Absolutely magical piece! I loved watching each step as you created. I have a ridiculous amount of watercolor paint, but I think I will have to get these as well! That color is breathtaking!
Stark! Es sieht aus wie eine wunderbare, geheimnisvolle Welt unter Tage. ❤😊 Die Natur, die sich in den Tiefen ihre ganz eigene Schönheit bewahrt hat. So super schön. ❤🎉
Thank you so much Bettina I really really enjoyed watching you create this beautiful and amazing piece of artwork. I really really love ❤️ it and that colour you used is awesome too. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
Thank you oh so much- I am one month into playing with water color paints… having blending problems- I wet both sides of paper, and picked up paper to let water/ color move ( flow) I love outcome. Now will see what marks inspire me - on how to finish. 🎨🧑🎨🩷
I love it!! I'm kind of obsessed with pebbles/stones lately too and add them in almost every painting I do. There are always going to be certain elements repeating because we're comfortable with certain things and they 'speak' to us more. But like you said, they look different in every piece. You always inspire me, and I thank you for sharing your talent with us. 💙
So wonderful and calming to watch you create this piece, I do love granulating paints they have a mind of their own, will have to try this set too. I was going to also buy the coloured pencils but I do have a full set of Prismacolour ones that were bought for me but I don’t really use them, I think also it is because the set has 124 colours and I feel a little overwhelmed with all the choices, I was also wondering if there is a difference between them, are they softer, harder etc, I will have to do some research maybe before buying more pencils, thank you 🙏🏻 again for a lovely piece of inspiration ❤
Are you related to Cee Cee or maybe that is a pseudonym of yours? You sound just like her and enunciate your words so much like her. Perhaps you two are from the same place? You both create such similar work too. I'm probably way off. 😆This is wonderful and I love that you share your process with us. 😍
I usually have everything I use listed in the description box below the video. I'm an open book and love to share my findings. For me it was a lot of trial and error, but lately I've been loving the Baohong and Hahnemühle cold pressed paper.

I'm so glad you got something out of this video! This makes me so happy to hear! I think these colors have a lot more potential than we think!

Another delightful piece.
Thank you
I’ve just bought the same paints, really looking forward to see what I can do. Your painting is really beautiful.

Those paints are very interesting. Been debating a purchase. I’m just an armature so do I really need them?

At 15:20 in the transcript you mention having done a little village…. Can you share a link to that video? I’m so intrigued!
I'm so confused as to what water color paper to use. Everyone talks about the effects of the whole series and not their type of paper.
I usually have everything I use listed in the description box below the video. I'm an open book and love to share my findings. For me it was a lot of trial and error, but lately I've been loving the Baohong and Hahnemühle cold pressed paper.
