Thank you so much Bettina, I really really enjoyed watching you create this beautiful and uniquely unusual project. I love ❤❤❤❤ it all, and I hope one day to be able to do something similar to this one. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
I’m so glad you said you spend a lot of time staring at a piece before doodling. I also do that and felt bad I need to spend time just looking at a piece .It always looks like you just jump in and know what you want to do right away! Thank you!
Actually, I love Diane's approach and willingness to keep trying new things with watercolors. I enjoy ceecee, too. I enjoyed your approach. How heavy is your paper? Sure holds up well. Hope to catch you again. Don't think I have the tight tools to paint this way but will play around a bit more. I'm old school and old age...will be 81 in September.
This is absolutely gorgeous, the brown bit in the middle I could see a little girl, loved the colours too and the doodling, also Denise love , is a little like you ,,,., ❤❤❤ xxxxx
Bettina, this piece is stunning! I'm totally in love with it! I think we have those special times when we paint that everything falls into place and when you look at the finished piece you say, "Did I just do that ?" Wow! This piece is inspired. I love, love, love it! You are fantastic!
Oh my, Bettina, I absolutely love the way you created this beautiful piece! It reminds me of a woodland scene. Discovering an old stump with some florals and vegetation and bugs. And those adorable mushrooms! They are so sweet! Just so wonderful!!
Since you asked, 🙂 I don't tape my paper down either. I wet the back, then the front, so I don't get buckling, and I like to bend and move the paper as i apply the paint.
I really loved this one also. You have kept me up tonight on my first viewing of your content! I was going to suggest you start writing a bit also since you seem to curve to texting over your art? Just a hunch? You may have some literature brewing in you. I'm looking forward to more. Thanks for sharing! It turned out truly stunning! ~❤~ Now for the Sandman... ZzzzzZzzzzz.......
Gorgeous especially how you come up with beautiful doddles flowers butterfly mushroom and making the whole painting lighten up with coloured pencils. Great work of art. So beautiful and soothing to eyes.
Thank you so much Bettina, I really really enjoyed watch this stunningly beautiful piece evolve and I don’t think you need any lessons from any one. You are very very talented and creative too, and I love ❤❤❤❤❤ everything you do. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
Nice one, Bettina !! Love those colours…very interesting ! Just goes to show how exciting it is to experiment and play 🤗💕🤗🎉🎉🤩 I understand what you are saying about seeing other artists ,but I would suggest not to be too concerned about what they do …..because by experimenting and trying different techniques and styles, you will find your own unique way and so far you are doing great. I was sorry to see that you had suffered a nasty migraine….not nice 😔🥺 Reading the text on the screen was like listening to an echo of my own thoughts as I attempt these pieces. Really appreciate your work here and am loving your Channel. You have quickly become one of my absolute favourites. All the best to you 🤗💕
Thank you so much! It's not that I'm concerned about what other people do, it's just that I would like to see someone else do similar stuff I do, haha. I'll just be over here doing what I love doing in the meantime 😉
I love how this piece turned out! I echo other people's recommendations of Denise Love. I would add Allison Dawrent and especially Creations Cee Cee. I think you'd love Cee Cee's doodling on watercolor if you haven't already discovered her. These folks all sometimes tilt their paintings to let the watercolors run around and do their thing. Thanks for your inspiring videos! This one is my favorite!
Fab painting! And aren't these Kuretake Art Nouveau colours Gorgeous!! Lovely Karen Rice, here on UA-cam, moves her paper around for abstracts and for wonderful skies too! Love, Mel in Devon UK 🍰🌻
Dear Bettina, as always, your painting is brilliant in form, color and style...very appealing.🥰 I wish you a nice weekend and greetings from Düsseldorf
I am just now seeing this one for the first time. I generally like everything you make and I wanted to drop a comment because I love every frickin' thing about this one! Idk what it is about it specifically. It has just touched my heart, and I wanted you to know. 😊
Incredible results! The bubbles look totally real. I chuckled to read the caption explaining how you spend a long time just looking at the artwork and trying to decide what you want to do next! Thank goodness!! It can seem like you just whizz through with certainty, so good to know you are just like us! 😂 Another beautiful piece! ❤
I’m brand new at watercolor, and I love watching your video so much! You do such beautiful work! I’m finding that when working with wet paper, I can tape the paper down to a tray. That way the paper holds still when I need it to, but I can also pick it up and tilt it too.😊
I hope you'll find as much joy in it as I do! As for taping down the paper, yes, I do that too sometimes. Lately though I like holding it, but I switch back and forth a lot. ☺️
This turned out beautifully and it was intriguing watching the story develop. Because you asked for suggestions on others who tilt their work, may I suggest the YT channel called Watercolor Pour.
I do as you do-love to move the paper around. So many possibilities; I find one needs to be sure the paint doesn't get too watered down and loose their vibrancy.
I already follow her and I love her stuff. We are quite similar in style, yet completely different and I draw some inspiration from her for sure. I also follow Diane Antone Studio, but she mostly does landscapes and florals, but does work quite wet like me. Thanks for your suggestion though! I really appreciate it!
Really gorgeous and interesting. The colour combination of the watercolours is beautiful. Turned out very cool. 🌸🌺🦋👏🏻😍I often try similar intuitive processes, but hadn’t the dot tool and acrylic colours in mind. This technique works really good. I use gouge or waterproof inks for dots and fintech metallic colours.
I do alot of very wet watercolor abstracts and have been looking to do ink drawing over. This was such an inspiration with so many elements and elementals :-)
Wow, it's amazing! So unique. I love everything you added the colours, dots, etc. Thank you, for inspiring me to be bold and try something new with colours I usually ignore. 🎨
Check out Deb Rosenbach (I think that's how to spell it). She's a watercolor artist who uses lots of water and really moves her paper around and all over the place. She mostly paints florals and occasionally landscapes.
Thank you so much Bettina, I really really enjoyed watching you create this beautiful and uniquely unusual project. I love ❤❤❤❤ it all, and I hope one day to be able to do something similar to this one. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤

Wunderschöne kleine Fantasie Welt🥰
Oh! I loved watching this SO much! Just amazing and so inspiring. Thank you!
I love it❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
Just fabulous!!!
Metamorphosis is a great name for this. It is way prettier than I was expecting with the color palette. I really like it a lot.
Right? I was just as surprised 😆 Love when that happens 😊
This week I pointed Diane Antone to you since she struggles with doodling and I enjoy yours so much.
@@luannianke8110 no way! Thanks so much! Now I'm gonna be all self conscious, haha!

You did a beautiful job!!!!
The addition of pencil really gave this piece dimension. Love how it turned out.
Just found your channel and I ❤ your style. Thanks for inspiring me to try this out. Been in an art dead zone but not any longer!!!
Oh my, Bettina, I absolutely love the way you created this beautiful piece! It reminds me of a woodland scene. Discovering an old stump with some florals and vegetation and bugs. And those adorable mushrooms! They are so sweet! Just so wonderful!!
Thank you so much Terri! I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed this one! 💕

Vielen herzlichen Dank! Und auch ich wünsche dir ein schönes Wochenende! 💕
Cindy Lane is another artist to move colors this way. Beautiful work, thank you for sharing it with us!
Thank you! I will check her out.
Merci infiniment belle âme pour ce partage très intéressant et magnifique !❤ A bientôt
I love it, i think it is gorgeous. I love the colors and the artwork it is awesome. But why not some doors and windows in your mushrooms.
I am just now seeing this one for the first time. I generally like everything you make and I wanted to drop a comment because I love every frickin' thing about this one! Idk what it is about it specifically. It has just touched my heart, and I wanted you to know. 😊

Turned out beautiful. Love the butterfly and how harmonious the colours are.
I’m brand new at watercolor, and I love watching your video so much! You do such beautiful work!

Very delicate and beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing this. ♥
Beautiful - very whimsical - love it.
This is marvelous 😻
I’m always screaming “stop” when you lay down the color….then you start the doodles and say “you go girl” hahaha
Hahaha! Oh, to be a fly on your wall! 😆
I saw a little girl (or a doll) in the lower right corner, sitting cross-legged perhaps under a flower skirt. Her face now has dots and stems.
I'm always so interested to hear what others see, so thank you for sharing that with me 💕❤️
Stunning❤️❤️❤️❤️
This turned out beautifully and it was intriguing watching the story develop. Because you asked for suggestions on others who tilt their work, may I suggest the YT channel called Watercolor Pour.
I love the art you create. The detail you bring to your art is amazing! Really unique and beautiful piece. All that staring was well worth it! 🌝
I do as you do-love to move the paper around. So many possibilities; I find one needs to be sure the paint doesn't get too watered down and loose their vibrancy.
It's lovely and very interesting.
You can check out Denise Love, she does mixed media abstract art on her channel, similar to yours. Gorgeous artwork. Keep creating. 💛💙💜

Lena Gemzoe..danish water colour artist uses lots of water and moves around on a board
Check out Deb Rosenbach (I think that's how to spell it). She's a watercolor artist who uses lots of water and really moves her paper around and all over the place. She mostly paints florals and occasionally landscapes.
Not me. I move my washes around and use ways to move water around
Hi…instead of using your finger why not try paper stumps❤️
Your work is beautiful but you never say the name of the paints
