And please dont hesitate to upload the campaign if u fail . I know u wont but there is nothing to be ashamed off but just makes you stronger. And keep your amazing content up
Thats a real challenge. I was trying different approaches on legendary but only managed once to relocate to Brittain.. Problem is u dont have a heavy front line unit , only very much later down the Tech tree . Lets see how he tackles this campaign. I also had one approach to have straight one of my generals to skill in Zeal to up your stats on yr light infantry and to demorilize the AI
Marcomani TITW campaign will definitely happen at some point, for now I only played the very beginning, it's tricky but doesn't seem harder than the likes of Masaesyli or Colchis. Maybe once Rome starts spamming elite stacks it gets really hard
@@TotalWarfare that's great! I will wait patiently. I enjoy all of your content, and I'm torn because I want you to both continue the existing campaigns but also to see how you would approach other factions. What I'm trying to say is, you have quality content and I'm pretty sure I will enjoy whatever you drop :)
Also i've only played as Epirus and Rome in campaigns, love your playthroughs so would like your suggestions on some interesting and some challenging campaigns i could also play
Pontus - you have a mixture of Eastern and Hellenic units as well as enemies Parthia - fighting in the East using mainly cavalry armies if you like that playstyle Carthage - difficult starting position and likely multiple early wars including with Rome Any Balcan faction (Getae, Ardiaei, Odrysian Kingdom) - difficult starting position and weak units
@@TotalWarfare I've always had more affiliation with ranged units than cavalry but will definetly try Pontus and Carthage, Somehow dont like factions too east since i like the action being more around central europe hahahaha weird mental thing i guess :P
Pontus has Pontic Peltasts which are excellent and Carthage has access to Balearic Slingers - best in the game so both are good choices if you like ranged units. As to mods, Aggressive AI and Better AI Recruitment are good for enhancing vanilla a little bit. Or you can go full overhaul mods like Para Bellum which change all aspects of the game
It's Marcomani campaign from Imperator Augustus. I play quite a few campaigns without recording but thought this battle would be an interesting one to share
Ballista standard rounds are better due to higher accuracy. They run when they need to get somewhere fast, and these are not heavy units so they don't tire as fast
Brother is so good at the game he put the spikes the other way around
bro put the barricade sticks the other way
To keep his men fighting
:'(
Seems effective tho
Haha I saw that
I love your game knowledge, its great to see a youtuber who actually knows how to play the game intelligently and have fun!
This! He made all the right tactical moves. Very nice to watch intelligent players go at it
Ha looks like u started a Marcomani campaign. Welcome to the campaign of pain. I see u have balistas and archers. Cant wait for your campaign upload
Best TW Rome 2 UA-camr, explains his thought process in the campaign
How don’t you have more views? Awesome gameplay man

Very impressive! Now where can I watch this Marcomani campaign?
Yea, i know someone asked for a Marcomani campaign. So hopefully soon.

This is what Total War Rome 2 is all about.
Your channel is amazing
Thanks man, glad you like it!

@@TotalWarfare Thanks man, Might drop comments to bug you to learn more in the future, But anyways keep going man
Great video!
I don't know about Rome 2 total war. But in Attila total war, in siege battles, i am taking too many friendly fire from my towers. This is an issue!
I've never played Attila but got the game and will definitely play at some point as many say it's better than Rome 2. Agree the towers can be a pain
Attila 🇹🇷🇹🇷
my guy that was amazing i was very inspired hoped back to total war got destroyed and came back here for more Lmao
Welcome to the channel and thanks a ton! Total War can be brutal, but that’s part of the fun. Keep fighting, and happy to have you back here!
"We have what we have" is 90% of battles in total war
So true! It's a matter to making the most out of what you've got
les défenses de fort sont plutôt faciles à faire.
surtout grâce aux palissades en face des entrées.

You handled that great!
Thanks and glad you enjoyed it!
Hey man which series is this? dont see this playthrough on your channel
It's Marcomani campaign from Imperator Augustus. I play quite a few campaigns without recording but thought this battle would be an interesting one to share
@@TotalWarfare ahh okay, Well keep going man, probably the first creator i've commented on in 12 years of youtube youve got great content
Isn't Marcomanni the latin for Mark-men?
Why batistas are not throwing fire projectiles?
Why all units are always sprinting you should manage them for stamina
Ballista standard rounds are better due to higher accuracy. They run when they need to get somewhere fast, and these are not heavy units so they don't tire as fast
@@TotalWarfare are you sure standard shot is better than explosive when you are targeting such a big clump of men?
Is this your favorite total war?
Yeah, by far! Massive campaign map, multiple distinct cultures and factions with unique units and playing experience... it's a fantastic game!
@@TotalWarfare Same i've tried playing atilla but didnt like it and couldnt get into warhammers at all.
Napoleon and Shogun 2 are also unique and amazing!
Nice !
clean
is this in easy mode??why the AI all just charge forward....
It's legendary, you can tell from the interface
Can I play Marcomanni in grand campaign?
Not in grand campaign, it's in Imperator Augustus DLC
fuck yeah this game is so fun
DEI campaign please
my best is 1.8k vs 12k win with suev against rome lol. barbarians are op
That sounds incredible! Yeah they get crazy strong with all the buildings with bonuses
I would like to see the same versus a real player haha no offense but that is easy to pull off playing against the A.I
Custom battle doesn't have fort defence as an option, you'd need to play a multiplier campaign for that
Rome 2 AI is so trash ...
A simple game against a stupid AI, playing against a real player next time will be more fun than this thing
The AI could definitely use some improvements. I wouldn't call Rome 2 a simple game though, there's plenty complexity
When u Play like balista its the end
ИИ в рим 2 конечно отвратный. Не сравнить с первым
