if i were you, i would declare war with all and then take bribe from all of them at the first turn and once you get the tribute then declare war back again lol which gives you with enough gold at first turn to start the campaign . ofc i am being a cheat here lol

Why don’t you use mercs? Carthage has a large pool of them (including Iberian swordsmen and Balearic slingers). Also there are perks for both generals and dignitaries to make mercs very cheap, almost free I’d say.

Is the flaming shot in the rain for naval battles a visual glitch? The game shouldn't allow it because of the rain, but I always just switch to normal shot to make sure. The flaming shot visual bug goes away when I do that. You have more experience, so I want to know your opinion. Love the vids; I stole your naval tactics and embezzling funds strat from you lol. thks

Just caught up with the Kush and Carthage Campaigns! Im just trying to catch up with this one. Then gonna start Selecuid Campaign. I got like 4500 hours in this game but still struggle with this challenge. You are teaching me a lot. I thought i had the game pretty much solved. Great videos!!

If you're going for milliary victory with sparta I'm pretty sure you have to go out to persia on the eastern side of the map i will double check

I have a tip for you. It's much cheaper to send a diplomat than to organize games and i think both gives you +5 loyalty

To manage risk of civil war, I usually entice a character from any party that is married. Since the spouse is left behind in the tgt party, it gives automatic+6 political marriage buff
