Are you looking to make a change to your fresh dog food subscription in favor of a more affordable option?
I love feeding my Alaskan Klee Kai dogs fresh dog food but their subscription plans can be expensive in light of the current cost of living crisis.
Some fresh dog food companies quoted me over $200 to feed their custom fresh dog food meals to my mini huskies. I couldn’t justify the cost.’
While my Klee Kai tended to prefer fresh frozen meals, I found some dog food delivery companies that offer human-grade dog food at an affordable price.
In this video, I’m going to share my top picks for the best cheap fresh dog food alternatives if you’re prepared to revert to dry dog food from fresh meals.
My pick would be Sundays Food For Dogs based on my experience feeding their air-dried food to Copper and Skye over the past year or so.
I’d recommend UnKibble as a good option if you’ve previously tried Sundays and you’re interested in trying a different human-grade dog food brand.

My little guy is allergic to chicken and beef. I hope one if these companies come out with a white fish version.
Thanks for the review. These formulas look great!

Sorry to hear that! I think UnKibble have Cod but Copper and Skye weren't big fans.

I make my girl her stew weekly and researching to find add on as well. I am spending a lot on a variety of supplements to help her with her allergies and still haven’t found anything that has solved this paw licking and scratching or seeing her eat grass. I don’t mind making her weekly stew but would like to add a raw food to add as I understand this is vital to their health. I am wondering if all the different vitamin and mineral supplements I’m including in her diet are adding to her issues and if this method is the answer instead. Her vet is no help by recommending dry purina pro plan to give, ugh! I do not have the option of finding a vet who has alternative healthcare in my area unfortunately. My dog has heart health issues so has to have grains which I add into her stew.
