May I know whether the Omron connect US/CAN app is different from Omron Connect US/CAN/EMEA app? My device does not connect with the app with the EMEA option but cannot also find the app with only the US/CAN option. Am confused and getting frustrated. My devise is Omron 10 series with model number BP7450. Any help??
I keep getting the message 'Unable to communicate with BP device'. It is sitting right next to the darn thing. I got this to pair and add the device once before but not now. The bluetooth software in this app is horrible. My phone recognizes it as a BT device but the software in the app can't find the phone. It was working for about a month until now. I just found out from Omron support that they updated the app which is about when I lost my bluetooth connection I previously had. My Android phone operating system is too old to work with the current version of the app. I had no idea the app was being updated and would no longer work with my phone.
Currently what is on the google play store is the Omron connect US/CAN/EMEA and that seem not to compatible with my devise-the BP7450. What should I do? I simply cannot find Omron connect US/CAN app anywhere. Please help!
As regards connecting smart phone via product App: So in the "App User Manual," the section "set up monitor and app" is NOT highlighted and the section in the body of the text (4) does not exist. In the App User Manual. This prompts the following questions: 1. Are the makers of this product mentally deficient (present indications suggest this to be so)? 2. Are the creators of the manual familiar with the product, smart phones, how numbers work, or indeed what "instruction manual" means as a general concept? The BP machine seemed to work fine. In fact, it accurately measured my ever-increasing BP as I attempted to connect the app. I work in the mental health field and fully support work opportunities for those in our community at risk of being forgotten or marginalized. But I remain steadfast in my opinion that the mentally ill and autistic among our citizens should not be involved with publicly-consumed electronics, either in construction or explaining said products to the consumer. I don't work.
This app sucks and why do I have to watch advertising for shopping services and provide a credit card number to allegedly complete registration really?
Omron make good blood pressure monitors, but they are not nice people. The User Guide is soooo bad. You get high blood pressure reading it. This is WARNING !! The Bluetooth set up is sooo rude. They want to know everything about you. Just so you can use the device you paid for with the app. Very rude. And they don't even explain how to use the app, how to dump accumulated data from the monitor to the app.
Connectivity is utter trash...all this tech, but unable to make an easy bt connection.
