NOW AVERAGE THE 3 PRESSURE DIVIDING BY 3. REPORT THAT PRESSURE AS FINAL PRESSURE. 3 DAYS A WEEK . THEN AS YOU KNOW THE PRESSURE , YOU CAN DO ONCE A WEEK .

Can you tell me if AC adopter to be used, the specification of it.
Hi Paramanandham, If there is an option/port in the BP device to connect adapter then AC input 100-230 volts and DC output of 6 volts (for INDIA) can be used.

One point missing. Reading has to be taken only in left hand. Not on right hand.

@@RAHUL-vj6no In the right arm, the sub clavian artery is 90 degrees from the aorta, so the pressure is a little less. In the left hand, the sub clavian artery from the aorta has a better angle, around 170 degrees, so it is more trusted as a source of measuring BP and works for most people. Any suggestion?

which one gives most accurate readings , has those units checked using biomedical test units , bcz all those units got one pressure transducer , very low in accuracy, checked it with your mercury bps accuracy level
Hi Waruna, Please go through the certificates which Omron issues with the device. As I remember there are some test reports with respect to accuracy tolerances. Hope this helps you to have info on reliability and repeatability of the device.
Bought omron 7120 from Amazon, button is very loose and while shaking the device, getting rattling sound. Not sure whether poor build quality. Is this expected or shall i replace the product

You should give why E ( error) is displayed; also when inflating, the reading goes upwards of 170 before it starts going down;

My BP shows better in lying position and high 140/95 in sitting position. Can we measure in lying position.
Hi Sadagopan, The ideal position is sitting straight unless you are not able to do so. If you monitor the readings continuing to be high during different time intervals then recommended to consult a physician.

Hi Michael, When the battery goes low there is a low battery indicator on screen which is like blinking battery symbol or battery with cross. When you notice this then it indicates time to have new batteries.

How to know if the machine batteries are low
Hi Vansh, The low battery symbol appears on the display similar to mobile phone. When this happens turn the monitor off, then replace all alkaline batteries at the same time.

Hi Vansh, As per device specification the accuracy with Blood Pressure is ±3 mmHg or 2% of reading and Pulse is ±5% of display reading.

Hi Ann, The price seems to vary often online and good to check when you plan to buy.
The bottom edge of the arm cuff should be 1 to 2 cm above the elbow. Marker (arrow under the air tube) is centered on the middle of your inner arm and not as shown on this video.
At time 0:40 video shows the guide to locate arrow.
At time 0:52 video shows ideal distance between cuff edge and elbow line.

Digital BP monitors are waste of money and very risky to life. I tried more than 10 digital monitors. When my actual BP was 160/90 it displayed 115/75 range only. Mercury sphygmomanometer is the only reliable BP apparatus.
Hi Loganathan, Thanks for posting your comments. As I understand the digital monitors are for home use where a person can use them with least training and provides ease to use. There are many brands available in market but choose one that has been listed as validated for accuracy and accredited by health organisations.
