We received approval for 0.99 financing and are still waiting to receive our vehicle, which is now scheduled to arrive between July and August. Tesla has offered us a similar vehicle with 20-inch rims at no additional cost. I am still contemplating whether we should accept this offer or wait for the 19-inch wheels to become available and see if any other offers arise in the meantime.
Tesla's Model Y inventory is actually dropping but I do agree that now that they don't have 0.99% financing for Model Y and 1.99% financing for Model 3 is ending after tomorrow, they will start doing inventory discounts the last 2 weeks of June (Q2). I think in Q3 and Q4, we'll prob see larger inventory discounts combined with multiple incentives and maybe low financing again. For the people who ordered 0.99% financing and are waiting for their car, (prob unique configs or ones with dark gemini wheels) Tesla actually gave them the option to take a car with 20 inch wheels for free since they are trying to get rid of inventory.
