I love the detailed info in your videos, really makes doing the work a lot easier and I am less fearful of breaking something. Stay safe and thanks again for these great videos.
Hey, thanks for the compliment. I just try to explain things how I’d like to hear it. Just overcoming the fear of mechanical challenges can be tough. I know my limits for sure. But I just prefer to do as much as I can before taking it to a place that will cost money. Take care and thank you. 👍🏼💯😎
Very nice thanks
Your welcome 🙏🏼 thanks for watching 💯👍🏼
Excellent video with great detail! What would be the 5W-30 version of this same oil? Amazon is saying the ones I’m finding are not compatible with my Passat. I have the same year and model as you.
5 w 30 is good. It recommends both 5 30 and 5 40. Cooler climate is go 5w 30. I’m in Texas so I use 5/40. The oil you get has to be VW approved. Castrol European full synthetic or liqui moly
I'm also in need of an oil change you wanna come up to Dallas 😅
Ha! That would be an expensive oil change 🤣🤣. But a road trip may be good. 💯😎👍🏼
👍
Thanks 👍🏼💯😎
This car has a fuel filter ?
Yes but I haven’t done anything to it
I know it's you can and money but it's not really necessary to change your drain plug every time you change the oil. The crush washer yes . I have never had any leaks from reusing same plug.
Yes that is true. When I bout the plug it came with a washer. I had a few washers but have used them up. Ha! Thanks for watching 👍🏼
my oil filter isnt there.

@@grind-it-out I did 🥸. Mine is under the car.
